You can (and should) read more about Perry’s attempts to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion at the AEI’s website, but it was the numbers Perry uncovered that really blew us away.
Perry notes that more than a quarter of these “diversicrats” earn annual salaries of more than $100,000. The vice provost for equity and inclusion and chief diversity officer comes out on top with an annual salary of $396,550.
The diversicrat staff extends all the way down; according to an email, “UM Housing has its own additional diversity army and trains students in paid positions to be ‘Diversity Peer Educators’ in every dorm and apartment area. These students mandate compliance with the ever-changing progressive views on gender and diversity in all campus housing facilities.”
