Third man charged in suspected New York MS-13 machete murder
Josue Figueroa-Velasquez, of Freeport, was set to be arraigned Wednesday on a second-degree murder charge in the death of 16-year-old Angel Soler, whose body was dug up in a wooded area in Nassau County in October after he was last seen leaving his home in Roosevelt on a bicycle months earlier, Nassau County Police said.
The 18-year-old’s alleged accomplices, David Sosa-Guevara of Wyandanch and Victor Lopez – also from Roosevelt – are facing the same charges, police confirmed to Fox News. Both of those men were indicted in January, according to Newsday.
Soler’s mother and sources close to the investigation believe the teen was killed by the violent MS-13 gang, with one source claiming that Sosa-Guevara revealed himself to be a member of the group during talks with police, Newsday reported.
Suyapa Soler also had said she brought her son to New York’s Long Island to flee gang violence in Honduras, where MS-13 is active.

MSNBC Tries to Solve Racism With Bigoted Shots at White People
First off, the hypocrisy in MSNBC’s attempt to solve racism and bigotry was pervasive. The co-hosts of the event were Chris Hayes and Joy Reid. It was the same Joy Reid whose years-old homophobic blog posts had recently stirred up controversy. She even suggested hackers planted the posts to frame her despite cybersecurity experts saying that wasn’t true. She also had an award from an LGBT group rescinded.
The event also featured the infamous Al Sharpton, who himself has a long history of making his own racist remarks targeting Jews. Sharpton has defended an anti-Jewish remark he made when he referred to a Jewish landlord as a “white interloper.” “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house,” he said prior to the 1991 Brooklyn riots.
The hypocrisy didn’t stop there as they had “anti-racism activist” Tim Wise excitedly assert that all white people were raised to put their comfort above black lives. “Well, here's the thing, white-America has been raised to believe, A, the police are always the good guys and, frankly, that black lives matter less than white comfort and until we deal with that, until we deal with the reality,” he exclaimed to the roar of the crowd.
“When you know that is what happens, what you are saying is my discomfort with you right now is worth more than the potential that your life could be snuffed in ten minutes. Until that stops, nothing is going to change,” he continued. These kinds of smears against white people are not how you bring people together. And Wise wasn’t done attacking white people yet.

SODUS, NY (Fox News) – A twice-deported Mexican citizen was being held by immigration authorities Tuesday as police continue to search a rural New York town for a 14-month-old child feared dead after his mother’s body was found last week.
Evarardo Donoteo-Reyes, a 25-year-old who is in the country illegally, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, is facing an evidence tampering charge after the body of his girlfriend, Selena Hidalgo-Calderon, was found Wednesday in a wooded area of a farm in Sodus where the two lived and worked.
Hidalgo-Calderon’s child, Owen, was last seen on May 16 and an Amber Alert was issued surrounding his disappearance. The Amber Alert was abruptly canceled Tuesday morning, though authorities did not explain why. Reyes is not the child’s father and Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts expressed doubt Monday afternoon that Owen was safe.
“My hope is that he still is alive,” Virts said, according to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. “But we have to look to reality here that he is concealed somewhere here on the farm.”
An ongoing search for the toddler, which has covered at least 600 acres so far, has turned up nothing.

Israel’s Walls Work So Well They’re Now Building an Armored Underwater Version
Israel has erected a wall between itself and the West Bank, which has significantly reduced the threat posed by Palestinian terrorists in that region.
Israel is also in the process of building a 37-mile solid barrier along its land border with Gaza to replace the security fencing, but isn’t stopping at simply building walls along the borders, according to The Times of Israel.
Construction began over the weekend in the Zikim area on what will become a fortified underwater wall that will extend into the Mediterranean Sea in order to guard against attacks launched by sea by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. The wall is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
The massive barrier, described by the Defense Ministry as an “impregnable breakwater,” has been specially designed to withstand the constant pounding of waves as well as direct attempts to breach it by terrorists.
The sea barrier will consist of an underwater portion that will be covered in a layer of armored stone and will also feature a barbed wire-equipped mound along the portion above water, as well as a typical wire security fence surrounding the entire barrier.

“Gang of Somali Kids Attack Park Goers in Lewiston,” Maine First Media, May 24, 2018:
It was an otherwise pleasant evening in Maine when two dozen Somali youth swarmed and attacked two local residents in Kennedy Park last Thursday evening.
The Somali mob attacked around 7:45 pm, just as the sun was setting on this historic city park in the heart of Maine’s second largest city.
A local mother recorded as a mob of teens and children, boys and girls as young as nine years old, brandishing wooden bats and other objects, along with fists, feet and sheer numbers to attack the two non-Somali defenders. At one point you can even here one of the hoodlums repeatedly daring the woman to, “stop me, b**ch.”
Lewiston Police tell Maine First Media one of the victims was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. However, no charges were filed.
Lewiston Mayor, Shane Bouchard says these types of incidents are common at Kennedy Park, but points to Lewiston’s low crime rate.
“Kennedy Park is a large common space in the middle of some of the poorest census tracts in the Northeast,” Mayor Bouchard said. “When you have large, diverse groups of people in the same place you are bound to have incidents. Lewiston is no different in that respect than any other medium to large city, except that Lewiston’s violent crime rate is one of the lowest in Maine.”
While the Mayor brings up Lewiston’s violent crime statistics, it is important to note, in this case, the victim didn’t press charges, meaning, statistically there was no crime. Incidents like this often go unreported and are not reflected in the numbers — something even Mayor Bouchard has to admit.
“In this particular case, the person who was attacked declined to press charges, therefore under the law, there was no victim, therefore no crime,” said Mayor Bouchard.
Witnesses at the park say the attack started when one of the victims asked one of the attackers to use a lighter for his cigarette. However, Lewiston Police are reviewing the video and have not determined an official motivation for this gang assault.
This is far from the first incident of Somalian attacks at Kennedy Park. Recently, a 10-year-old girl was jumped and beaten by a Somali girl at the park. As such occurrences become more common in Lewiston, many lifelong residents are now afraid to bring their own children to play.
