Radical Islamist Compounds in New Mexico, Alabama Were Training Children to Carry Out Terrorist Attacks

No one’s paying much attention. Not enough attention, that is, for places in this country dedicated to training people to attack Americans. Radical Islamic training camps are popping up around the country.

Earlier this month, the FBI discovered a jihadist compound in Macon County, Alabama. It was led by Siraj Wahhaj, who ran a similar camp in Taos County, New Mexico last year. The occupants of both engaged in terrorist training. New Mexico prosecutors allege they planned to carry out “attacks to kill officers and employees of the United States.” “Apocalyptic Muslim beliefs” inspired them.

Authorities discovered the compound in New Mexico when a message reached them, “We’re starving.” Law enforcement found 11 children and five adults living in a trailer in “squalid” conditions. They had guns and ammo. They barricaded themselves behind adobe walls and tires. A 100-foot tunnel contained areas with bedding.

Sadly, authorities found the decomposing body of Abdul Ghani-Wahhaj, 3. His father, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, 40, had abducted him. The boy suffered from severe medical disabilities. They gave him seizures. Authorities say he died at the compound after he was denied medication, because one of the women there, Jany Leveille, 36, believed it suppressed Muslim beliefs. Leveille and Wahhaj held hours-long prayer rituals over the boy in the days leading to his death. They read the Koran over his body and tried to exorcise demons from him.

Concerned people notified authorities that the boy was missing months earlier. The FBI conducted aerial surveillance but could not identify anyone.
Indictments

The senior Wahhaj was arrested, along with the other adults, and indicted for terrorism, kidnapping and firearm violations. All five pleaded not guilty in March. The judge scheduled the trial for April 2020.

Several members of the compound were indicted for terrorism, kidnapping and firearm violations.
The deceased child’s foster parent told prosecutors that Wahhaj trained another child how to use an assault rifle. It would be used in school shootings. FBI Special Agent Travis Taylor testified that Leveille and her husband “sought to recruit and train persons, including minor children, to be prepared to engage in jihad and train an army of jihad and to die as martyrs.”

Siraj Wahhaj, the father of Wahhaj, is the imam at Masjid at-Taqwa, a mosque in Brooklyn. Several people connected to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center either attended or visited there around the time of the attack. A list of several dozen potential conspirators in the plot included the elder Mr. Wahhaj. He has been called the spiritual adviser of jihad sympathizer Linda Sarsour. The anti-Semitic Sarsour is a member of America’s largest Marxist group, the Democratic Socialists of America.

Lawrence Montoya, 77, a retired New Mexico state police officer who raises horses at a ranch near the compound, told The New York Times, “This is a place where people end up who might not want to be found.”

Alabama Compound

WPMI-TV, an NBC affiliate in Mobile, Alabama, broke the story of a second compound belonging to terrorists led by Wahhaj. Located in Macon County, Alabama, it is described in a FBI search warrant as a “makeshift military-style obstacle course.”
This was clearly radical Islam.
Unfortunately, the compounds have received little mainstream media coverage. The media is so concerned with...

Obama Appointees in the Communist Orbit

This week Rush Limbaugh repeated a quote from James Comey in a New York Magazine interview:
“I’d moved from Communist to whatever I am now. I’m not even sure how to characterize myself politically. Maybe at some point, I’ll have to figure it out.”

It’s hard to pin too much on that quote. Perhaps Comey was joking by calling his vote for Jimmy Carter a vote for a Communist, in mockery of his supposedly fellow Republicans.

Joking about support for Communism is not all that funny in the Obama administration. Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan actually did vote for a Communist presidential candidate. Brennan and Comey are two of the central players in the Russia Collusion Hoax.

Obama choose Communists and Marxists for the highest, most powerful positions in our land, including his closest political advisors, and his head of the CIA. These facts are not in dispute. Most are openly admitted by the people in question, as necessary damage control. Our press chooses not to report them.

Professor Paul Kengor has extensively researched the Chicago communists whose progeny include David Axelrod, Valerie Jarrett, and Barack Hussein Obama. Add the openly Marxist, pro-communist Ayers, and you have many of the key players who put Obama into power.

John Brennan

Brennan (who was sworn in as CIA director on a draft of the US Constitution, without the Bill of Rights, instead of a Bible) said that while he had voted Communist, he wasn't an official member of the Communist Party - and was relieved that he had been accepted into the CIA.

Barack Hussein Obama

His Kenyan father was a communist, who met Obama’s mother, a radical leftist, in a Russian language class. Stanley Dunham, Obama’s white grandfather, chose a notorious member of the Communist Party to be Obama’s mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.

Obama wrote in his memoir that in college, he sought out Marxist professors. A Marxist student at Occidental College, John Drew, confirms that Obama was a revolutionary Marxist in college. Drew recounts:

Obama… believed that the economic stresses of the Carter years meant revolution was still imminent. The election of Reagan was simply a minor set-back …As I recall, Obama repeatedly used the phrase "When the revolution comes...." …"There's going to be a revolution," Obama said, "we need to be organized and grow the movement." In Obama's view, our role must be to educate others so that we might usher in more quickly this inevitable revolution. …Obama seemed to think their ideological purity was a persuasive argument in predicting that a coming revolution would end capitalism.

Obama tells us the radical socialist conferences he attended before law school gave him his road map in life, i.e., their plan to put a stealth black candidate in the White House. Obama's biggest job and his political career in Chicago were launched by self-avowed communist Bill Ayers. Obama's run for state representative was as the hand-picked successor of a socialist state representative, who was publicly active in communist circles. Obama's calling in life was work as a hard-left Alinskyite radical agitator. Until he became president, Obama was a 20-year member of an openly Marxist church whose members had to take a pledge against the middle class. When did Obama reject Marxism?

Valerie Jarrett

Valerie Jarrett is Obama’s closest personal advisor to the present day. She lived with the Obamas in the White House, had dinner with them nightly and still lives with them in retirement!

“Her late father, James E. Bowman.. was involved with communist front groups and was in contact with a paid Soviet agent in the 1950s who was wanted for espionage. Jarrett's maternal grandfather, Robert Rochon Taylor, was investigated by the FBI for his membership in communist groups and his business relationship with the same Soviet agent …Her late father-in-law, Vernon D. Jarrett, was assigned by the Communist Party USA to a special cultural arts cell …he was flagged by the FBI as an...

THE COMPLETE COLLECTION: OBAMA’S SCANDALS, GAFFES, AND POWER-GRABS [UPDATED!]

FBI Lawyer Squeals; Implicates Obama Officials for “Unusual” FISA Application

FBI Attorney Trisha Anderson has admitted that the application process for the FISA warrant was handled in an “unusual” fashion by top Obama-era officials.

On Monday, Rep. Doug Collins released the remaining transcripts from the House Judiciary Committee’s investigation into decision made at the DOJ and FBI to exonerate Hillary Clinton and spy on the Trump campaign in 2016.

Thegatewaypundit.com reports: Collins released transcripts on several FBI, DOJ officials including:

Trisha Anderson
William Sweeny
Loretta Lynch
James Kybicki
Andrew McCabe
George Toscas
Jonathan Moffa
John Giacalone
Sally Moyer

Trisha Anderson went back to work at Covington & Burling in 2018

On Friday Redstate posted explosive segments from FBI Attorney Trisha Anderson’s testimony. The information first appeared in the Washington Examiner.

In her testimony, she alleges that the application process for the FISA warrant was handled in an “unusual” fashion and that numerous Obama era FBI officials were involved at the highest levels in pushing it through.
But Anderson stressed “in this particular case, I’m drawing a distinction because my boss and my boss’ boss had already reviewed and approved this application.” She emphasized “this one was handled a little bit differently in that sense, in that it received very high-level review and approvals — informal, oral approvals — before it ever came to me for signature.”

Normally, a FISA application would go to the legal department first to confirm that it is indeed proper to press forward with. In this case, top officials informally “approved” the application first, signaling to Anderson that her signature was just perfunctory.
Anderson said that FISA approvals are typically “tracked in a linear fashion” and that someone in the Senior Executive Service “is the final approver on hard copy before a FISA goes to the director or deputy director for signature.” She said the Page FISA was approved outside regular procedures.

“Because there were very high-level discussions that occurred about the FISA,” Anderson said she believed that meant “the FISA essentially had already been well-vetted all the way up through at least the Deputy Director [McCabe] level on our side and through the DAG [Yates] on the DOJ side.” Yates had already signed the application by the time it made it to Anderson’s desk.

… Anderson stressed that McCabe, Yates, and Baker all played key roles in reviewing the...

10 Offbeat Stories You Might Have Missed This Week (5/25/19)

With another week gone, let’s wind down and check out some of the stories that made the headlines. Click here to read about all the strange stuff that happened last week.

There is a party atmosphere to this week’s list, as we have stories on LSD, cannabis, New Coke, and ancient beer. Speaking of ancient, we also find out how scientists recovered the oldest Scandinavian DNA from a piece of very old chewing gum.

In the animal world, we learn just how involved bonobo mothers are in their sons’ sex lives, and we also read about firemen who had to fight a blaze inside a house filled with hundreds of snakes.

10Ancient Gum Yields Ancient DNA

Scientists have recovered the oldest Scandinavian human DNA from 10,000-year-old chewing gum.Huseby-Klev is an early Mesolithic village that has been excavated since the 1990s. Among the ancient items recovered at the site was a primitive form of chewing gum. It consisted of lumps of birch bark which were masticated. Eventually, they turned into a glue-like substance which was sometimes used to attach arrowheads or sword handles. For years, the notion of retrieving DNA from the site was considered impossible because few bones were found in the village, and they were too degraded to obtain viable samples. However, two Norwegian scientists from the University of Oslo thought that the birch bark material might still contain DNA from the saliva of the people who chewed it.They were proven right. Researchers extracted and sequenced enough DNA to show that it came from at least three people: two women and one man.[1] These people came from the south. Meanwhile, the weapons and tools they used were Russian in style. This discovery lends credence to one hypothesis that claims there are two distinct lineages to the early settlers of Scandinavia.

9A Bonobo Mother’s Work Is Never Done

If you feel that your mother is too pushy when it comes to your love life, just be glad you’re not a bonobo. A new study by German primatologists published in Current Biology showed that male bonobos that still live with their mothers are three times more likely to have offspring than those on their own because their mothers take a very active role in their sex lives.Bonobo society is dominated by females, so mothers of high rank are able to go to great lengths to ensure that they become grandmothers. They chaperone their sons when they are meeting females. During the act itself, they act as bodyguards and ensure that the mating couple is not disturbed by other males who might charge their sons. The mothers are also willing to get physical in order to provide more opportunities for their offspring. They will charge at other males who are trying to woo fertile females. In rare instances, researchers reported that the high-ranking females literally dragged unrelated male bonobos off their sexual partners.[2]A team from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig observed wild bonobos in the Congo and compared them to chimpanzee populations in Uganda, Tanzania, and Ivory Coast. Chimp females had no apparent impact on their offspring’s reproductive success. Moreover, while bonobo mothers were active in their sons’ sex lives, the same was not true for daughters. However, bonobo females typically leave to start their own group.

8New Kilo On The Block

After 130 years, there is a new definition for the kilogram. From now on, the unit of measurement will no longer be based on a “prototype kilogram” stored in France but on a fundamental figure in physics called the Planck constant. For over a century, the kilogram was defined by an actual piece of shiny metal dubbed “Le Grand K,” which was stored in a vault in Sevres. However, despite our best efforts, the prototype did not remain completely unchanged. Repeated cleanings and exposure to air caused Le Grand K to lose around 50 micrograms. That’s why at an international conference last November, representatives from 60 countries voted to change the definition to something truly universal and stable. The new standard went into effect this Monday.[3] From now on, the kilogram will be defined using Planck’s constant and measured using an extremely sensitive instrument called a Kibble balance. Modern definitions for other units also went into effect, such as the Kelvin, the mole, and the ampere.

7Snake House

What is scarier than a house filled with snakes? The answer is a house filled with snakes that is on fire. That was the scenario that a group of firefighters from Arizona faced this week.[4] They had to fight a blaze which engulfed a building that was home to hundreds of snakes and other reptiles. Phoenix fire captain Greg Hawk said the whole experience will leave a memorable mark and that it was “outside-of-the-box crazy.”Because of the unusual nature of the event, firemen decided to fight the fire from the inside instead of the outside. This way, they could save as many animals as possible. Some of them were dousing the flames with water, while others were next to them, wrangling snakes into buckets. All of the reptiles that survived the blaze were taken in by the Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary. In addition to the scaly critters, firefighters also rescued a couple of dogs and cats.

6New New Coke

One of the biggest marketing flops in history is going to get a second chance, as Coca-Cola is bringing back New Coke after 34 years.Back in 1985, the soft drink giant changed the formula of its flagship drink. People hated it, though, and just three months after New Coke was introduced, the old version was brought back as “Coca-Cola Classic.” The response was so negative that, even to this day, some believe New Coke was intentionally bad as part of a marketing ploy to revive interest and sales in the classic drink.New Coke will be featured in the upcoming third season of Stranger Things, an ultra-popular Netflix show that is part horror, part tribute to the 1980s. The latest season is set in 1985, so, naturally, one of the most notorious pop culture moments of that year had to make an appearance.Coca-Cola is hoping that a hefty dose of nostalgia will help New Coke become more popular the second time around. Even so, the drink won’t be available to buy in shops. It will be bundled with limited-edition Stranger Things Coke bottles and cans and packed into special vending machines inspired by the show.[5]

5The Drink Of The Pharaohs

Israeli scientists have made a breakthrough in the field of experimental archaeology by brewing beer using ancient yeast from thousands of years ago.Researchers from multiple Israeli institutions collaborated on a project which saw them collect yeast colonies that survived on beer and wine vessels which were up to 5,000 years old. Then, relying on modern techniques and with the help of a master brewer, they used the yeast to make a drink akin to...
