The allies of a Communist terrorist group are running the country.

There is a scene in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino's revisionist take on the Manson murders, in which the fictional members of the family blame movies for their crimes. The real answer is less cinematic and more political. The Manson family’s crimes were part of a culture of leftist violence.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is one of the many ways that American leftists evade that reckoning.

After the murders, one of the Manson family wrote “pig” in Sharon Tate’s blood on the door. The radical act carried out in California thrilled fellow Weathermen radicals halfway around the country.

"Dig It. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victim's stomach! Wild!" Bernardine Dohrn gloated at a Weathermen war council.

Dohrn and other members of the leftist group understood the horrifying murders as a radical act that normalized violence. And Dohrn, a Weatherman terrorist, saw violence as an inspirational tool for shattering the norms of society. That was why the Weathermen adopted the ‘fork salute’.

The horrifying reality of the sorts of people that would do that is at odds with the media’s normalization of leftist radicals as principled activists reacting to racism and the Vietnam War. The radicals are routinely humanized and their victims are forgotten. History is entombed with the dead.

And so The Tablet decided to give Jonah Raskin, who had participated in the Weathermen, and later promoted the hateful works of the violent Communist terror group, a forum for his fond memories.

"I could wallow in nostalgia about my days with the Weather Underground in the early 1970s: at Coney Island with Bernardine Dohrn, eating Bill Ayers’ soufflés and Jeff Jones’ homemade breads," he begins.

Dohrn’s fork celebration of the murder of a pregnant woman had taken place in 1969.

But surely old Nazis also have fond memories of eating soufflés and homemade breads. Himmler’s wife probably made a mean ham sandwich. And the Manson family no doubt had some great chili. But outside of Neo-Nazi publications, they don’t get the space to share fond food and murder memories.

Old Communist killers and their cohort however get ample space for their horrifying nostalgia.

And some of Manson’s followers liked the pot, but hated stabbing pregnant women.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has begun purging white staffers en masse after complaints were made about a "lack of racial diversity within the organization."

The congresswoman who heads the campaign arm for U.S. House of Representatives Democrats has acknowledged mistakes after lawmakers complained about a lack of racial diversity within the organization, and she named a Cuban-American as interim executive director as part of a major staff shakeup.

The announcement by Representative Cheri Bustos late on Monday followed several days of turmoil at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), a controversy that has sidetracked the organization as it seeks to expand the party’s majority in the House in the 2020 election.

Russia conspiracy theorist Rachel Maddow has failed to finish in the top three shows among cable news viewers for the first time in almost a year.

Maddow only managed to total 2.487 million average viewers in July, plummeting to fifth place behind four Fox News programs: Hannity (3.332 million viewers), Tucker Carlson Tonight (3.145 million), The Ingraham Angle (2.591 million), and The Five ( 2.503 million).

Compared to the same month last year, when Maddow enjoyed third place, the MSNBC host has lost a full third of her 25-54 age demo viewers (511,000 compared to 384,000) and her total viewership has crashed from 2.7 million to 2.487 million.

Breitbart.com reports: If you look back two years, the Hoax Queen’s fall is even more pronounced: In July of 2017, Maddow was on a hot streak with the number one show in all of cable news for the fifth consecutive month.

You see, there was a time, not that long ago, when Maddow and Sean Hannity were in a death match for the cable news crown. But now she’s sunk to fifth place and the only crown she holds is the number one show on MSNBC, which is itself struggling with a double digit viewership collapse.

Judicial Watch: FBI Searched Comey’s Home For Leaked Classified Memos

FBI records obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the FBI went to former FBI Director James Comey’s home to search and collect four memos that detailed the fired director’s conversations with President Trump, according to six pages of records obtained by the government watchdog.

The nonprofit group, which is noted for it’s Freedom of Information Act battles against the government, also received a newly declassified FBI document “dated June 16, 2017, in which FBI agents describe Comey telling them that he had written two additional Trump meeting memos that he could no longer find.”

“Former FBI Director James Comey was interviewed at his residence at [redacted]. This interview was scheduled in advance, for the purpose of providing certain classified memoranda (memos) to Comey for review. After being advised of the identity of the interviewing Agents and the nature of the interview, Comey provided the following information:

After reviewing the memos, Comey spontaneously stated, to the best of his recollection, two were missing:

In the first occurrence, Comey said at an unknown date and time, between January 7, 2017, which Comey believed was the date of his briefing at Trump Tower, and Trump’s inauguration on January 20th, 2017, Comey received a phone call from President Elect Donald J. Trump. The originating telephone number may have had a New York area code. Following the telephone conversation, Comey drafted and e-mailed a memo to James Rybicki and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.”

The memos state the that FBI went to Comey’s home on June, 2017, a month after Comey was fired by Trump. FBI agents visited his home and collected “as evidence” four memos and one of his memos was written on June 6, a month after he was fired, Judicial Watch stated.
