'Shrieking' Heard From Epstein's Jail Cell The Morning He Died

The morning of Jeffrey Epstein's death, "shouting and shrieking" could be heard from his jail cell, according to CBS News - while guards attempting to revive him were saying "breathe, Epstein, breathe."

Epstein, who was reportedly in 'good spirits' recently - meeting with his lawyers for up to 12 hours a day to discuss his case - was found hanging in his Lower Manhattan jail cell with a bedsheet around his neck, which was reportedly secured to the top of a bunk bed, according to the New York Post.

On Monday, Attorney General William Barr said that the Epstein case "was personally important to him," and that the prison had "serious irregularities."

Notably, the staff at MCC reportedly violated prison protocol by failing to check on the high-profile inmate every 30 minutes, according to the Washington Post. Epstein, whose defense attorneys successfully lobbied for him to be taken off suicide watch about a week before he was found dead, was also supposed to have had a cellmate.
...he also should have had a cellmate, according to the person familiar with the matter and union officials representing facility employees.

But a person who had been assigned to share a cell with Epstein was transferred on Friday, and — for reasons that investigators are still exploring — he did not receive a new cellmate. -Washington Post

In a rare show of bipartisanship, the House Judiciary Committee has sent a letter to the acting director of the Bureau of Prisons, Hugh Hurwitz, demanding answers - and stating that Epstein's reported death by hanging "demonstrates severe miscarriages of or deficiencies in inmate protocol and has allowed the deceased to ultimately evade facing justice," according to the Miami Herald.

On Monday, the FBI raided Little St. James - Epstein's so-called 'orgy island,' according to the Daily Mail, which captured footage of...

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei planned to circumvent Trump admin ban and sell in U.S. covertly

Despite being banned by the Trump administration from selling its products in the United States, China-based Huawei, the world’s second-largest smartphone maker, planned to circumvent the ban anyway by using a Mexican conduit.

Bill Gertz at the Washington Free Beacon reports that the plan is to disguise the phones as non-Huawei devices, but it was discovered last month by U.S. intelligence agencies who have since alerted the Trump administration to the plan:
According to the officials, the Shenzhen, China-based company planned to ship a large number of its smartphones to Mexico where the smartphones would be re-labeled and shipped into the United States.

As non-Huawei devices, there would be no prohibition on selling them in the United States.

The phones, however, could be identified as Huawei devices by examining their electronic components that can be traced to the Chinese telecom.

No other details of the plan are known, but it’s clear that the Chinese are working to subvert the Trump administration’s ban on selling Huawei phones in the U.S. by any means possible, which indicates that concerns about Beijing using the company’s products as espionage tools is legitimate.

The national security concerns regarding Huawei aren’t new, by the way. As Gertz noted, in 2008 the company was forced to abandon efforts to buy the U.S. telecom company 3Com for that reason. And two years later, Huawei was pressured into abandoning...

MSNBC, CNN Ignore 2020 Democrats Falsely Claiming Michael Brown Was Murdered

MSNBC, CNN, and other major media outlets have largely ignored false claims by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) and Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) that Michael Brown was "murdered" by a white policeman in 2014.

Brown, a black 18-year-old, was shot to death in Ferguson, Missouri, by Officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9, 2014. Wilson claimed it was in self-defense, but protests and some eyewitness claims that Brown had his hands up when he was shot. This led to the mantra, "Hands Up, Don't Shoot." This was later revealed to be false, due to physical evidence and supporting testimony backing Wilson's version of events that Brown attacked him.

However, on the five-year anniversary of Brown's death, the 2020 Democratic hopefuls used the occasion to say Wilson murdered Brown, despite Wilson not being indicted for a crime and the Obama administration's Justice Department concluding after an extensive investigation that Wilson didn't break any federal law.

"Five years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri," Warren tweeted on Friday. "Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael. We must confront systemic racism and police violence head on."

Wrote Harris: "Michael Brown’s murder forever changed Ferguson and America. His tragic death sparked a desperately needed conversation and a nationwide movement. We must fight for stronger accountability and racial equity in our justice system."

An IQ Media search found no mentions of "Michael Brown" at any time on MSNBC and CNN following Warren and Harris's tweets on Friday afternoon, except for Al Sharpton's coverage of the anniversary of Brown's death on his weekend program PoliticsNation. However, he didn't delve into Warren and Harris's tweets.

Sharpton traveled to Ferguson in the aftermath of Brown's death, spoke at his funeral, led protests calling for police reform, and claimed there was no evidence Brown posed a threat to Wilson's life. In a heated interview with then-Fox News host Megyn Kelly in 2016, Sharpton defended his rhetoric about the case and said witnesses had told him different things than what federal investigators concluded.

National media outlets also largely ignored the story. A search showed the last story from the New York Times about Brown came on Friday with a piece about his father calling for a...
