BREAKING, Trump to Divert Billions to Build Miles of New Border Wall
Defense Secretary Mark Esper called congressional leaders, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), on Tuesday to detail the decision to reprogram the money away from military construction projects and to the border.
Schumer, who has projects in his home state that will be impacted, panned the decision as a “slap in the face” to members of the military.
“The president is trying to usurp Congress’s exclusive power of the purse and loot vital funds from our military. Robbing the Defense Department of much- needed funds is an affront to our service members and Congress will strongly oppose any funds for new wall construction,” he added.
Pelosi told House Democrats on a caucus-wide conference call on Tuesday that Esper also informed her of the move earlier in the day, according to a call participant.
“Canceling military construction projects at home and abroad will undermine our national security and the quality of life and morale of our troops, making America less secure,” Pelosi said later in a public statement.

Time and time again, we’re told that mass killings don’t happen in other places. The people telling us that are generally looking to push a gun control agenda and they claim that the reason we only see them here are because of our lax gun laws. If only we embraced gun control, all such violence would come to an abrupt halt.
Only, it’s not just us.
Christchurch, NZ should have put an end to that kind of nonsense. Then again, there have been numerous mass shootings in other countries that gun control supporters tend to forget about pretty quickly.
Yet even if you do manage to put guns out of the reach of others, that doesn’t mean attacks won’t happen. If it did, eight families in China wouldn’t be mourning right now.
An unhinged man carried out a knife attack at a Chinese elementary school on Tuesday, killing at least eight kids on their first day of class, authorities said.
The 40-year-old man, whose last name is Yu, launched the attack in the school at about 8 a.m. in Hubei province, police said in a statement.
In addition to the eight kids slain in the attack, two children were injured, according to police.
In 2018, a similar attack led to the deaths of nine schoolchildren.
Keep in mind that this is someplace where civilian ownership of firearms is practically non-existent. No one can get a gun, yet the deranged still manage to find a way to kill innocent people in job lots. Why is that?
It’s just a hunch here, but maybe it’s not the guns that are the problem, but people.
For some reason, people are going nuts and slaughtering people for some insane reason, something we can’t even grasp. Why is that? That’s the question the “Do Something” crowd needs to answer before they look at guns for a scapegoat. If you take away the firearms, you can still get things like this. They’ll use a knife. Or, perhaps, a van.
The violent and deranged can always find a weapon. You’re not going to cut them off from that, so trying to do so at the expense of law-abiding citizens–you know, as is the case in gun control–is a waste of time and effort. MYSTERY: Before His Grisly Suicide, Top FBI Agent Was Questioned About NYPD Sister’s Double Murder-for-Hire Plot

The mysterious case and public death of FBI boss Salvatore “Sal” Cincinelli just gotten even stranger.
The FBI has said nothing publicly about the grisly public suicide death of one of the Bureau’s top financial crimes supervisors who reportedly shot and killed himself on a crowded nite-club dance floor in July.
But FBI insiders said Cincinelli was questioned by FBI about his knowledge of a murder-for-hire plot shortly before his public suicide. Cincinellu’s sister, Valerie, was arrested in May for allegedly plotting to kill her ex husband and the teenage daughter of her boyfriend.
Cincinelli’s sister is a New York City Police officer.

Six weeks after her arrest, her FBI brother was reportedly out partying with FBI colleagues at the Container Bar, a trendy watering hole in Austin, TX. The group had been drinking and dancing, according to sources. Later in the evening Cincinelli reportedly turned the gun on himself on a crowded dance floor.
Cincinelli was 41.
Now FBI officials said the Bureau questioned Cincinelli before his death about his sister’s alleged plot. Insiders said FBI brass were following prorocols to question Cincinelli about the case against his sister. Was the FBI Cincinelli implicated in the case? Or was Cincinelli making waves at FBI because he had problems with the way the case was built against his sister?
FBI officials have not made any public comments about Cincinelli’s death. Insiders, likewise, said top management has been silent on the situation.
“It (Cincinelli’s questioning) could have been routine or could have been more,” one FBI insider said. “The timing is problematic because he killed himself so it is difficult to get the real story.”
But the FBI’s Cincinelli shared with some colleagues that he believed his sister was, in part, being “set up,” according to Bureau insiders. Apparently. Cincinelli has issues with some of the evidence collected against his sister, insiders said.
The FBI had wiretapped Valerie Cincinelli’s phones in March and the Feds also had her boyfriend wearing a wire to gather evidence against her. The case went on for months, according to federal records.
That boyfriend, John DiRubba, was the FBI’s star witness in the case, working undercover to gather evidence against Cincinelli. Justice Department officials said NYPD Officer Cincinelli, 34, asked DiRubba in February to hire a hitman to kill...
