New York Times Blames “Airplanes” For 9/11 Attack
Quickly deletes tweet after furious backlash.
The New York Times chose to honor the 18th anniversary of the September 11 atrocity by blaming “airplanes” for carrying out the attack.
Yes, really.
“18 years have passed since airplanes took aim and brought down the World Trade Center,” the Times tweeted from its official account.
The tweet prompted an immediate backlash, with respondents furious the Times appeared to be absolving the terrorists of blame and pinning the responsibility on inanimate objects instead.
The newspaper later deleted the tweet and half way apologized, tweeting, “We’ve deleted an earlier tweet to this story and have edited for clarity. The story has also been updated.”

Is Christopher Wray Protecting Andrew McCabe?
FBI Director Christopher Wray has tried to stay out of the public eye, and while he does not have liar and leaker James Comey’s flair for flamboyant, self-serving press conferences, and doesn’t have his fingerprints all over the Russian collusion hoax and FISAgate, he still is a D.C. swamp rat working behind the scenes to protect his deep-state cronies.
The text messages of FBI agents Peter Strzok and paramour Lisa Page have gone a long way to explain and document the attempt by President Obama’s government agencies to keep Hillary Clinton out of prison and Donald Trump out of the White House. One would think the text messages of Andrew McCabe, fired for “lack of candor,” would be a treasure trove of information detailing the coup plotters' machinations and deliberations. So why is Wray fighting to keep them out of public view and away from legal scrutiny?
McCabe, the man he worked for, Comey, and the people who worked under McCabe, such as Strzok and Page, took the fruit of foreign interference in our election that was the Steele Dossier, compiled from Russian sources, delivered through a British agent, and paid for by the DNC and Team Clinton, and used it to commit a fraud upon the FISA court to trigger the illegal surveillance of one political campaign by another with the aid of co-conspirators at the DoJ and FBI.
That McCabe himself was a key architect of this coup is found in the texts of Strozk, who speaks of the plan hatched in “Andy’s office” to stop Trump at all costs, with this end justifying any and all means:

Out of all the damning, politically charged anti-Trump text messages released, one text from Strzok to (Lisa) Page on August 15, 2016, raised the most suspicion. It referred to a conversation and a meeting that had just taken place in "Andy's" (widely believed to be Deputy FBI Dir. Andrew McCabe's) office. According to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Strzok had texted this: "I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office [break]... that there's no way he gets elected. I want to believe that... But I'm afraid we can't take that risk... We have to do something about it."
As investigative journalist Sara Carter notes:
Ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes, R-CA, said his committee was stymied by the FBI when they attempted to retrieve McCabe’s communications.
“The House Intelligence Committee tried to get the McCabe texts in the last Congress, but we were stonewalled,” Nunes told SaraACarter.com on Monday. “This is the kind of issue that really needs more transparency. There’s been too much unnecessary secrecy surrounding the entire Russia investigation -- the American people deserve to know exactly what happened.”…
“The DOJ Inspector General found that Andrew McCabe ‘lacked candor, including underneath, on multiple occasions,’ and that he disclosed sensitive information about ongoing investigations to members of the press,” said Rep. Matthew Gaetz, R-Florida, on Monday. “The FBI’s own Office of Professional Responsibility recommended McCabe’s firing. It is imperative that the DOJ have access to the full universe of Andrew McCabe’s communications -- Congress and the American people deserve transparency, both to better understand McCabe’s role in the attempted ‘coup’ against President Trump, and to ensure that systemic corruption of this magnitude...
Dems Secretly Trained Thousands of Activists to Manipulate Media, Clinton Library Docs Show
DNC coordinated with activists to 'infiltrate' talk radio
The Democratic party developed an elaborate, multi-year operation in the 1990s that deployed thousands of activists to covertly mold public opinion using talk radio, according to documents from the Clinton Presidential Library.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC), with the blessing of the Clinton White House, launched the Talk Radio Initiative (TRI) ahead of the 1996 campaign. The program trained thousands of operatives to call in to radio shows, conduct surveillance of their contents, and secretly disseminate Democratic talking points while posing as ordinary listeners.
"Volunteers must be able to keep the project confidential so as not to create the image of a ‘Democratic conspiracy' to infiltrate Detroit area talk radio shows," a 1995 TRI guide prepared by Michigan Democrats said. "Democratic performance in the 1996 elections will no doubt be affected by the success or failure of this initiative."
Radio show hosts long suspected that someone was training so-called "seminar callers" to inundate their shows with sympathetic callers. Lars Larson, a host in the Pacific Northwest since the mid-1990s, recalled being on the receiving end of many such calls, but was not aware that many may have been trained by the DNC.
"You would get calls, an hour apart, from different people with different voices and different names, but they would talk the same lines. So close that you knew that this was not a coincidence," Larson said. "It was the same language on the same subject and the same arguments."
The Democrats did publicize some aspects of this secret program while it was running, praising the initiative as their first step in bringing back "truth" to radio. However, the inner workings of the TRI were kept secret for...

Watch: Islamic State-Infested Island Cleared by 80,000 Pounds of U.S. Bombs
An island in Iraq home to Islamic State terrorists was annihilated Tuesday night by almost 80,000 pounds of bombs dropped from combined U.S. and allied warplanes.
Dramatic aerial footage shows multiple explosions as bombs hit Qanus Island followed by huge mushroom clouds billowing into the air over the Tigris River.
U.S. Air Force F-15 Strike Eagle and F-35A Lightning II aircraft flew alongside Iraqi air force aircraft to decimate the target in Saladin province in an operation to destroy a major terror transit hub from Syria and the Jazeera desert into Mosul, Makhmour and Kirkuk in Iraq, CJTF-OIR said on September 10.
Qanus island is near the U.S. forward operating base in Qayyarah.

Donald Trump Celebrates Dan Bishop Victory in North Carolina
President Donald Trump celebrated Dan Bishop’s apparent victory Tuesday in the special election in the Ninth Congressional district of North Carolina.
“Big Rally last night. Now it looks like he is going to win,” Trump wrote on Twitter, referring to Monday night’s rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina with Bishop.
Bishop was declared the winner of the race with 50.8 percent of the vote to Democrat Dan McCready’s 48.6 percent, with 99 percent of the vote reporting.
The president said that Bishop asked him for help, after polls three weeks ago showed him down 17 points. It is unclear what poll the president was referring to, as most polls of the race showed either candidate with a single-digit percentage lead.
“We changed his strategy together, and he ran a great race,” Trump wrote.
Bishop embraced the president and his agenda during his campaign, which Democrats hoped would lose, setting the tone for Republican failure in 2020.
Trump also taunted the media covering the special election that was polling tighter than...
