Motorcyclist Who Identifies As Bicyclist Sets Cycling World Record

NEW YORK, NY—In an inspiring story from the world of professional cycling, a motorcyclist who identifies as a bicyclist has crushed all the regular bicyclists, setting an unbelievable world record.

In a local qualifying race for the World Road Cycling League, the motorcyclist crushed the previous 100-mile record of 3 hours, 13 minutes with his amazing new score of well under an hour.

Professional motorcycle racer Judd E. Banner, the brave trans-vehicle rider, was allowed to race after he told league organizers he's always felt like a bicyclist in a motorcyclist's body.

"Look, my ride has handlebars, two wheels, and a seat," he told reporters as he accepted a trophy for his incredible time trial. "Just because I've got a little extra hardware, such as an 1170-cc flat-twin engine with 110 horsepower, doesn't mean I have any kind of inherent advantage here."

Banner also said he painted the word "HUFFY" on the side of his bike, ensuring he has no advantage over the bikes that came out of the...

Sidney Powell Drops Bombshell Showing How The FBI Trapped Michael Flynn

'Mr. Flynn will ask this Court to dismiss the entire prosecution based on the outrageous and un-American conduct of law enforcement officials and the subsequent failure of the prosecution to disclose this evidence.'
Earlier this week, Michael Flynn’s star attorney, Sidney Powell, filed under seal a brief in reply to federal prosecutors’ claims that they have already given Flynn’s defense team all the evidence they are required by law to provide. A minimally redacted copy of the reply brief has just been made public, and with it shocking details of the deep state’s plot to destroy Flynn.

While the briefing at issue concerns Powell’s motion to compel the government to hand over evidence required by Brady and presiding Judge Emmett Sullivan’s standing order, Powell’s 37-page brief pivots between showcasing the prosecution’s penchant for withholding evidence and exposing significant new evidence the defense team uncovered that establishes a concerted effort to entrap Flynn. Along the way, Powell drops half-a-dozen problems with Flynn’s plea and an equal number of justifications for outright dismissal of the criminal charges against Flynn.

What is most striking, though, is the timeline Powell pieced together from publicly reported text messages withheld from the defense team and excerpts from documents still sealed from public view. The sequence Powell lays out shows that a team of “high-ranking FBI officials orchestrated an ambush-interview of the new president’s National Security Advisor, not for the purpose of discovering any evidence of criminal activity—they already had tapes of all the relevant conversations about which they questioned Mr. Flynn—but for the purpose of trapping him into making statements they could allege as false.”

‘The Upper Echelon of the FBI Met to Orchestrate It All’

First came FBI agent Peter Strzok’s text to FBI attorney Lisa Page “as news of the ‘salacious and unverified’ allegations of the ‘Steele dossier’ dominated the media.” “Sitting with Bill watching CNN. A TON more out. . . We’re discussing whether, now that this is out, we can use it as a pretext to go interview some people,” Strzok told his paramour.

Then, quoting from a sealed statement by Strzok, Powell reveals that over next two weeks, there were “many meetings” between Strzok and [FBI Deputy Director Andrew] McCabe to discuss “whether to interview [] National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and if so, what interview strategies to use.” And “on January 23, the day before the interview, the upper echelon of the FBI met to orchestrate it all. Deputy Director McCabe, General Counsel James Baker, Lisa Page, Strzok, David Bowdich, Trish Anderson, and Jen Boone strategized to talk with Mr. Flynn in such a way as to keep from alerting him from understanding that he was being interviewed in a criminal investigation of which he was...

Three GOP Senators Have Yet to Back Movement to Condemn Democrat Impeachment Practices

Well, If It Isn't Our Old Friend The Cowardly Pierre Delecto....

Three Republican senators have yet to back a resolution to condemn House Democrats’ secret, closed-door impeachment inquiry practices.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham (R-SC) introduced a resolution Thursday night to condemn House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) secretive impeachment inquiry proceedings.

Graham announced Friday that the resolution had gained 50 cosponsors across the Senate Republican conference; three senators have yet to cosponsor the resolution sign on.

Sen. Johnny Isakson’s (R-GA) office told Breitbart News that the senator wants to ensure that the impeachment inquiry remains a “fair process.”

The three Republican senators that have yet to back the impeachment resolution are Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Lisa Murkowski (R-UT), and Susan Collins (R-ME).

Even though these senators have yet to cosponsor the resolution, this does not mean that they may not cosponsor the resolution in the future or vote for the bill should it come to the Senate floor for a vote.

Sen. Murkowski’s office told Breitbart News that the senator has yet to review the Graham resolution.

Sens. Romney and Collins did not respond to a request for comment from Breitbart News.

Republicans’ fight against the House Democrats’ secretive impeachment inquiry practices has quickly become a rallying cry for the GOP.

Graham announced during a press conference Thursday that his and McConnell’s resolution gained 41 cosponsors. Now, the resolution nearly has the backing of the entire Senate Republican conference.

Conservative activist groups have also backed the bill. The Club for Growth “key voted” the Graham-McConnell resolution, and the Tea Party Patriots Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin praised McConnell’s bill.

Senators have backed the resolution Friday, decrying the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry as “one-sided.”

“I have co-sponsored the Graham resolution because in an impeachment process, the American people above all expect it to be fair,” Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) said in a statement Friday, announcing his support for...

The Fake Farmer’s Revolt Against Trump

One of the constant media themes over the past couple of years has been the story of how terrible Donald Trump’s trade wars with various countries – particularly China – have been for farmers in the midwest. They are allegedly further angered by the President’s “favors” to the oil and gas industry in the form of waivers granted to smaller refineries under the Renewable Fuel Standard, leading to lower prices for corn. This, if you believe what’s regularly repeated on CNN and other outlets, has led to Trump’s support among those in the agricultural community declining. The farmers are angry at the toll that’s been taken on their profits and their way of life.

This mantra has been picked up in outlets both large and small. One example can be found in this breathless article from The Gazette in Iowa. It declares, “No more Iowa nice!” The article then goes on to suggest that farmers are so upset with Trump’s EPA that he’s losing support among a group that was previously solidly behind him.
The warnings were pointed and the language forceful.

Iowa renewable fuels industry leaders and farmers are not happy with President Donald Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency. And that frustration may be costing the president significant support in a state he won handily three years ago.

Well, that certainly sounds pretty bad. Trump could be in real trouble if he’s losing the support of these folks. Except there’s a problem with the coverage. The people who are quoted are, for the most part, not farmers at all. They’re representatives of some of the largest organizations in the ethanol lobby. Of course they’re upset. But what about the actual farmers? Somebody should poll them.

Oh, wait. Someone already did. And in a surprising turn of events, Trump’s support among midwest farmers has actually increased significantly this year. (Farm Journal)
Farmer approval for President Donald Trump rose to 76% in September, according to the latest Farm Journal Pulse Poll. His ratings rebounded from a fall in August amid turmoil over trade deals and corn grower discontent over oil industry exemptions to ethanol blending requirements.

The August Pulse marked the first time the president’s ‘strongly approve’ rating among farmers fell below the 50% mark, dropping to 43%. However, that number showed a strong reversal in September by climbing to 55% “strongly approve.”

“The rise in the ‘strongly approve’ category, to 55% from 43%, is important,” noted Pro Farmer Policy Analyst Jim Wiesemeyer, “because that shows...

10 Disturbing Ways China Is Censoring The Protests In Hong Kong

It’s no secret that the Chinese government censors the media for its own people—but Chinese censorship doesn’t stop at the border.SEE ALSO: 10 Reasons Why Communism Sucks With 1.4 billion people and the second-largest GPD in the world, China has a lot of economic power to throw around. They can—and have—used their financial influence to control how news stories are told abroad, even in countries guaranteed free speech.Never has this been apparent than now, as protests in Hong Kong have grown into a life-or-death battle for democracy. The whole world is watching as more than a million people fight for their freedom, but China is doing everything it can to control what we say and what we see.

10Daryl Morey’s Pro-Hong Kong Tweet

On Oct. 4, Daryl Morey, general manager of the Houston Rockets, unleashed a firestorm with a tweet: “Fight for freedom. Stand with Hong Kong.” The NBA has no stranger to political controversy. Players have protested police killings and immigration laws and never been forced to apologize—but right now, basketball is booming into China’s biggest sport. China’s a market that doesn’t stand for free speech—and to the NBA, they’re worth more than $4 billion.Shortly after Morey’s tweet, the Chinese Consulate announced that they have contacted the NBA and urged them to “correct the error” of Morey’s tweet—and they meant business. Multiple NBA events in China were cancelled, their Shanghai arena had every corporate sponsor logo erased from the floor, and Nike pulled down all Houston Rockets merchandise from their Chinese website. It worked. Everyone from the owner of the rockets to star player James Harden and even players on other teams chimed in to apologize to China. Even Morey backed down. He deleted his own tweet calling for democracy in Hong Kong and issued an apology of his own.“Any speech that challenges national sovereignty and social stability,” the Chinese-run press wrote about the controversy, “is not within the scope of freedom of speech.”

9ESPN’s Leaked Internal Memo

In a leaked memo from ESPN’s senior news director, Chuck Salituro, the reporters at America’s biggest sports broadcasting network were ordered to avoid discussing any politics in Hong Kong. The memo was sent out after Morey’s tweet became a top story. Across the sports industry, higher-ups immediately went to work pre-emptively censoring their own people to make sure China didn’t crack down on them the way they had the NBA.Most ESPN anchors skirted around the issue, referring to Hong Kong’s fight for democracy an “anti-government protests” and moving on. But at least one ESPN commentator actually went on the air and blasted Morey for speaking up.“What were you thinking speaking up on this issue?” ESPN’s Stephen Smith said on the air. “You have an obligation to adopt and embrace the interests of those you collect a paycheck from.”Morey’s words had, after all, affected the interests of those Smith collects a paycheck from. After his statement came out, ESPN’s Chinese partner Tencent suspended all broadcasts of the NBA in China.

8Washington Post Publishes Literal Chinese Propaganda

Influencing sports news is one thing, but a whole other line gets crossed when Chinese propaganda shows up in American newspaper. And yet, that happens on a regular basis. The propaganda arm of the Chinese government pays for a supplement called “China Watch” that appears in the Washington Post, The New York Times, and other major papers. It’s a series of news articles that show up in one of America’s top newspaper, written by the Chinese state-controlled media with an agreement that American editors cannot change the contents. As the Hong Kong protests heated up, they wrote articles saying that parents in Hong Kong has “condemned foreign entities for misleading young people in the city.” Those parents, it said in the Washington Post, had “marched outside the US Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macao, calling on the US to stop interfering in Hong Kong affairs.”It is somewhat ironic that the newspaper’s slogan is “Democracy dies in darkness”. Nevertheless, the Washington Post has defended publishing Chinese propaganda by arguing that China Watch is an “advertising supplement and has always been clearly labeled as such.”Dean Gainor of the Media Research Center, however, shot back: “Are they so desperate for cash, when they are owned by one of the richest men in human history, that they have to publish propaganda for communist China?”

7Apple’s App Store Censorship

Apple has come under fire for banning an app called HKmap.live that shows protestors where the police are located to help keep them safe. The app fought a long battle to get on the app store in the first place, only making it on after arguing it was effectively no different from Waze. Apple almost immediately pulled it, however, saying that it was being used to attack police officers. Their source, they said, was “the Hong Kong Cybersecurity and Technology Crime Bureau.” HKmap.live, however, is far from the only app that’s been pulled from the app store at China’s request. Apple has banned all VPN apps in Hong Kong and even removed the emoji of Taiwanese flag at their request. Most troubling of all, they’ve even censored the news. On Sept. 30th, Apple removed the Quartz News app for including “content that is illegal in China.” That “illegal content”, most agree, is almost certainly their extensive coverage of the protests in Hong Kong.

6Tiffany & Co’s Innocent Mistake

Sometimes, a company doesn’t even have to make a statement to get censored by the Chinese media. All it takes is a simple mistake.Tiffany & Co released an ad in which Chinese model Sun Feifei shows shows off a ring by holding her hand over her right eye and the Chinese media erupted. Sun Feifei, they believed, was making the “eye-for-an-eye” gesture used by protestors in Hong Kong after a young woman lost an eye, and they weren’t going to stand for it.They bombarded Tiffany’s social median and Sun Feifei Weibo page, demanding: “Do you support Hong Kong independence?” and “Don’t think all China have gone blind like you.”It’s highly unlikely Sun Feifei or anyone at Tiffany was actually making a political statement. The ad campaign had started before the Hong Kong protests, so the gesture was almost certainly a coincidence.Even the appearance of a political statement, however, can affect the bottom line of a company that does business with China. And so Tiffany & Co. was forced to apologize and take down the ad.
