There must be consequences for this coup attempt or it will happen again
While Americans are waiting and waiting for Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham to finish their criminal probe into the origins of the FBI’s coup attempt against President Donald Trump, the bureau’s director issued a limp-wristed, wholly inappropriate response to a huge part of that bogus probe earlier this week.
FBI Director Christopher Wray announced that, in the wake of “Spygate,” where senior agents up to and including the former director and deputy director, launched a bogus “investigation” into a presidential campaign based on fabricated ‘evidence’ and ‘intelligence,’ there were “errors” committed and as such, agents will have to undergo additional…training.
And he’s having a video made that agents will have to sit through. As if the entire coup attempt was nothing more than just a series of goofs, accidents…people not really knowing or understanding what they were doing…when they were literally attempting to overthrow a duly elected president.
For the first time in our history.
It’s a disgrace of the first order and it’s nowhere near good enough.
The president himself called out Wray on Saturday. He wants to know why Wray is allowing “dirty cops” who still work for him to get away with what they’ve done.
“‘FBI Director apologizes for FISA Errors (of which there were far to many to be a coincidence!).’ @FoxNews Chris, what about all of the lives that were ruined because of the so-called ‘errors?’ Are these ‘dirty cops’ going to pay a big price for the fraud they committed?”
The president, like every thinking, rational person in America, knows that the “Crossfire Hurricane” probe was nothing but a set-up, by people who were so offended by his candidacy and eventual victory they would literally do anything short of ordering a hit on him to keep him out of office.
That is what happened. There is no denying it. And for Wray to come out with his pathetic announcement and half-assed ‘reforms’ isn’t going to cut it.
Barack Obama, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and a few others have permanently destroyed the bureau’s reputation. Someone needs to restore it, and it’s patently clear that Christopher Wray isn’t the person to...
