Illegal Immigrant Caravans and Criminal Catholics

The latest, lawless migrant caravan hurtling from Honduras to our southern border is as organic as AstroTurf.

The Central American trespassers now number between 2,500 and 4,000. Two weeks ago, slickly designed flyers disseminated on social media beckoned them to sign up for the latest journey and meet at a bus stop in San Pedro Sula. That village is caravan ground zero, where Honduras’s destabilizing Libre Party and its former top legislator-turned-agitator Bartolo Fuentes, have brazenly spearheaded past caravan organizing campaigns since President Donald Trump took office.

On Monday, the throngs reached the Mexico-Guatemala border, where mobs of mostly young men threw rocks and sticks at police—while sympathetic international “journalists” selectively captured and curated tired women and crying children on the trek with state-of-the-art cameras and livestreams.

Make no mistake: These are not desperate people suddenly seeking refuge from violence and harm. They are low-wage workers, pew-fillers and future ethnic-bloc voters being exploited by Big Business, the Vatican and the Democrat Party.

Pueblo Sin Fronteras may be the most recognizable name behind the caravans, but global Catholic elites play a central role in the coordination of this transnational human smuggling racket. Trump-bashing, American sovereignty-trashing Pope Francis donated $500,000 nine months ago from his Peter’s Pence fund to assist illegal immigrant caravan participants. The subsidies cover “27 projects in 16 dioceses and Mexican religious congregations” for “housing, food and basic necessities,” as well as “migrant” assistance programs “run by seven dioceses and three religious congregations: the Scalabrinians, the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and the Hermanas Josefinas,” according to the Catholic News Service.

Tragic Update: Christian Pastor Kidnapped by Boko Haram Has Been Executed

A Christian pastor who insisted that “God’s will must be respected” after being kidnapped by Islamic terrorists has been killed by his captors.

Pastor Lawan Andimi, a senior member of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), was beheaded by Boko Haram fighters yesterday, according to veteran journalist and Islamic terror expert, Ahmad Salkida.

“To break some news items can traumatize. I’m battling with one of such,” Salkida tweeted. “Reverend Andimi, abducted by #BokoHaram was executed yesterday. Rev. Andimi was a church leader, a father to his children and the community he served. My condolences go to his family.”

Following his seizure in Adamawa state on January 2, Pastor Andimi released a video urging his family not to “sorrow for him, since God’s will must be respected.”

After Pro-Second Amendment Rally, Virginia Democrats Kill Pro-Gun Legislation and Advance Red Flag Gun Confiscation

A day after the pro-gun rally in Richmond, Virginia, Democrats are quickly moving their anti-gun agenda forward.

First, they started off by killing pro-gun legislation.

Some of these bills included proposals to make it easier to carry guns in places of worship, bring Constitutional Carry to Virginia, limit gun-free zones, and strengthen mandatory sentences for crimes involving guns.

Three Republicans, Delegates John McGuire, Dave LaRock, and Wendell Walker, introduced bills to repeal a state law that bans guns, knives, and other weapons in places of worship unless there is “good and sufficient reason” to bring them on the premises.

Several Republicans cited Jack Wilson’s heroics in a Texas church where he stopped a potential mass shooter last month as the reason to reform Virginia’s gun laws. This bill would be killed in a panel by a 5 to 3 vote.

The gun-free zone reform bill would have made it easier for victims of mass shootings to sue localities that establish gun-free zones but fail to implement measures to secure these areas. The public safety subcommittee killed the bill on a 6 to 2 vote.

A Republican delegate, Charles Poindexter introduced a bill that would have increased mandatory minimum sentences for felonies involving guns.

The proposal would have raised the minimum sentence for a first offense from three to five years and increased sentences for subsequent offenses from five years to 10 years.

“This gives our prosecutors and our police an excellent tool to use to address those people that really use guns in an illegal fashion,” Poindexter declared. “It focuses on gun violence itself.”

This bill failed on strict party lines.
