Potential Biden Cabinet list circulates; who’s who of past Dem losers will likely motivate Trump voters
A new “Axios on HBO” column by Jim VandeHei and Mike Allen offers a peak behind the curtain of what a Joe Biden administration might look like, and it’s sure to provide additional motivation to those on the right to ensure that President Donald Trump is reelected.
On the other hand, some may suggest that this is part of an ongoing effort to project Biden as the winner of the Democratic primary, in hopes of avoiding socialist Bernie Sanders being the party’s nominee.
According to VandeHei and Allen, who cite the prerequisite top anonymous sources, Biden confidants are privately discussing potential leaders and Cabinet members for his White House.
Heading up that list is reportedly “the need to name a woman or African American — perhaps both — as vice president.” A requirement that may quietly say all that needs to be said about the inroads Trump has made in the black community.
With some critics suggest senility may be slowly overtaking 77-year-old Biden, who he selects as vie president is all the more crucial — and with names such as failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams being bandied about, it’s enough to make Americans shudder.
Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., is also named as a possibility here — given her recent sucking up to Biden, Harris maybe the favorite here. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is another name mentioned.
The column suggested that Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., whose support was critical to Biden winning South Carolina, may have the final say on who the VP nominee is.
On the other hand, there’s some who think Hillary Clinton may be that person.
In light of the concerns about Biden’s state of mind, conservative actor James Woods tweeted he will select Clinton to be his vice-president, only to “gracefully resign as his dementia worsens and… Voila! #MadamePresident at last!”
But that’s just the beginning of what a Biden administration is expected to look like.
VandeHei and Allen write that Biden’s advisers described a “Return to Normal plan” that will counter Trump’s “unorthodox, improvisational style,” saying Biden plans to surround himself with known, trusted people — trusted on the left, of course.
And there are more than a few names from the Obama years.
There is mention of John Kerry possibly returning as secretary of state, if he doesn’t take a new Cabinet position devoted to climate change, but Susan Rice is also named as a potential candidate for...
The Inspector General’s Report on 2016 FBI Spying Reveals a Scandal of Historic Magnitude: Not Only for the FBI but Also the U.S. Media
JUST AS WAS TRUE when the Mueller investigation closed without a single American being charged with criminally conspiring with Russia over the 2016 election, Wednesday’s issuance of the long-waited report from the Department of Justice’s Inspector General reveals that years of major claims and narratives from the U.S. media were utter frauds.
Before evaluating the media component of this scandal, the FBI’s gross abuse of its power – its serial deceit – is so grave and manifest that it requires little effort to demonstrate it. In sum, the IG Report documents multiple instances in which the FBI – in order to convince a FISA court to allow it spy on former Trump campaign operative Carter Page during the 2016 election – manipulated documents, concealed crucial exonerating evidence, and touted what it knew were unreliable if not outright false claims.
If you don’t consider FBI lying, concealment of evidence, and manipulation of documents in order to spy on a U.S. citizen in the middle of a presidential campaign to be a major scandal, what is? But none of this is aberrational: the FBI still has its headquarters in a building named after J. Edgar Hoover – who constantly blackmailed elected officials with dossiers and tried to blackmail Martin Luther King into killing himself – because that’s what these security state agencies are. They are out-of-control, virtually unlimited police state factions that lie, abuse their spying and law enforcement powers, and subvert democracy and civic and political freedoms as a matter of course.
In this case, no rational person should allow standard partisan bickering to distort or hide this severe FBI corruption. The IG Report leaves no doubt about it. It’s brimming with proof of FBI subterfuge and deceit, all in service of persuading a FISA court of something that was not true: that U.S. citizen and former Trump campaign official Carter Page was an agent of the Russian government and therefore needed to have his communications surveilled.
Just a few excerpts from the report should suffice to end any debate for rational persons about how damning it is. The focus of the first part of the IG Report was on the warrants obtained by the DOJ, at the behest of the FBI, to spy on Carter Page on the grounds that there was probable cause to believe he was an agent of the Russian government. That Page was a Kremlin agent was a widely disseminated media claim – typically asserted as fact even though it had no evidence. As a result of this media narrative, the Mueller investigation examined these widespread accusations yet concluded that “the investigation did not establish that Page coordinated with the Russian government in its efforts to interfere with the 2016 presidential election.”
The IG Report went much further, documenting a multitude of lies and misrepresentations by the FBI to deceive the FISA court into believing that probable cause existed to believe Page was a Kremlin agent. The first FISA warrant to spy on Page was obtained during the 2016 election, after Page had left the Trump campaign but weeks before the election was...

Exclusive: Immigrant from Egypt Accused of Double Murder in Virginia
An immigrant from Egypt has been accused of murdering a 19-year-old girl and her 21-year-old boyfriend in southern Virginia last month, Breitbart News has exclusively learned.
Last month, 18-year-old Mohamed Aly was arrested for the alleged murder of 19-year-old Ayanna Maertens-Griffin and 21-year-old Joel Bianda, her boyfriend, WUSA9 reported at the time.
The bodies of Maertens-Griffin and Bianda were found by on a highway median in Tuberville, Virginia, next to a silver Nissan Maxima. From the start of the investigation, Virginia State Police believed the couple’s deaths were the result of murder, not a car accident.

Days after their bodies were found, Virginia law enforcement officials arrested Aly — who lives in Alexandria, Virginia — on two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of felony use of a firearm.
Breitbart News has exclusively learned that Aly first arrived in the U.S. as the child of an American citizen sometime in the early 2000s. A law enforcement official confirmed to Breitbart News that Aly has been a permanent legal resident with a green card since about 2005.
In statements to local media, the victims’ families have said they are heartbroken by their loved ones’ deaths.
“It’s completely broken all of our hearts,” Maertens-Griffin’s aunt Kassie Rich said. “I don’t even know if we’re going to officially figure out everything, but we hope and pray that we do.”
Family and friends have created a GoFundMe page for Maertens-Griffin’s family. More than $12,000 has been raised since February. Likewise, Bianda’s family set up a GoFundMe page, expressing their grief and the fact that the young man was days away from his 22nd birthday.
“Joel’s dream was to make it big with his music and to be able to make enough money to take care and move others,” Bianda’s brother wrote on...
