Chinese Government Lays Off Entire Propaganda Team As American Media Doing Their Job For Them

BEIJING—The Chinese government has laid off its entire propaganda arm, cutting thousands of jobs at China Central Television and other state-run media outlets as the American media is already doing their job for them.

"It seemed kinda redundant for us to have a state-run media when we have the American press," said President Xi at a press conference Monday. "The American media is carrying water for us. It's pretty incredible. We unleashed a virus on the world and lied about it for months, and the American press can't stop praising us. As long as they make their orange leader look bad, they'll repeat any line we feed them."

"Really, we Commies could learn a lot from the propaganda of the press over in America," he added admiringly.

The Communist dictator sat the nervous, state-owned journalists down and asked them, "What would you say you do there?" to which they responded, "We take the propaganda and tell it to the people." But President Xi wasn't fooled, saying that the American press already does that and the redundancy would be eliminated. This is satire.

How Michael Flynn Became Target Zero in Obama’s Russia Collusion Plot

If there was any doubt that Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn was Target Zero in the Russia Collision conspiracy or that President Barack Obama was an active co-conspirator, presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway put those doubts to bed last week.

“I would remind everybody that President Obama told President-elect Trump he had two things to worry about: North Korea and Michael Flynn,” Conway said last Thursday on Fox’s America Newsroom.

“Folks, that’s just weird on its face,” Conway continued, as if folks needed to be told. “You gotta worry about a nuclear-capable dictator in North Korea, and you gotta worry about a general of 37 years who served in… the Obama administration.”

Conway’s comments came in the wake of the unnerving revelation that FBI higher-ups actively plotted to drive Flynn, the designated national security adviser, from the Trump White House.

“What’s our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?” wrote an FBI official, believed to be former FBI counterintelligence director Bill Priestap. “If we get him to admit to breaking the Logan Act, give facts to DOJ & have them decide. Or, if he initially lies, then we present him [redacted] & he admits it, document for DOJ, & let them decide how to address it.”

This revelation shocked even Bush confidantes into outrage. “On what planet is it ever acceptable for FBI agents to discuss how or if they can get someone fired?” tweeted Ari Fleischer, former Bush White House spokesman. “Comey and his top officials were out of control.”

Lost in the hubbub was the question of why it was Flynn who so concerned Barack Obama. The more general answer is that Flynn was the one Obama appointee not afraid to speak his mind. Appointed to head the Defense Intelligence Agency in April 2012 by Obama, Flynn was forced out two years later for, well, speaking his mind.

Although news reports at the time were circumspect about the reasons for Flynn’s departure, a leaked email from retired Gen. Colin Powell in September 2016 spoke to the sentiments of Obama insiders: “I asked why Flynn got fired. Abusive with staff, didn’t listen, worked against policy, bad management, etc. He has been and was right-wing nutty every [sic] since.”

Flynn, of course, did not get to be a lieutenant general by being a bad and abusive manager. He abruptly became bad and abusive by not being an Obama sycophant, especially on Islamic issues. Nor did Flynn become a target of the Russia collusion conspirators for his presumed right-wing nuttiness.

CNN sends cease-and-desist letter to Trump campaign over new ad it calls ‘deceptive’

As rich a resource as CNN may be, given its Trump Derangement, the network wants no part of helping President Donald Trump get reelected.

CNN sent a cease-and-desist letter to Trump’s reelection campaign over an ad touting the president’s tireless efforts to counter the coronavirus outbreak.

The letter claims the “American Comeback” ad, which includes an exchange between CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer and network chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, is a “false, misleading and deceptive” representation of the network’s coverage.

“Is it accurate that if these steps had not been put in place, the stay at home orders, the social distancing orders, as the President said yesterday, it could have been two million people down here in the United States?” Blitzer would ask.

After hemming and hawing, Gupta eventually gets around to answering “yes,” and the Trump ad simply cuts to the chase.

GOP: China Has Infiltrated US Higher Education To Impede Coronavirus Research

Congressional Republicans claim China is spreading communist propaganda through US universities.

Congressional Republicans are accusing China of attempting to hinder US coronavirus research by infiltrating US universities and spreading communist propaganda.

Reuters reports that ranking GOP members across seven House committees have delivered a letter to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos that warns Beijing is indoctrinating American students.

The letter was signed by Congressman Jim Jordan, the ranking Republican on the House Oversight committee, as well as by members on the Homeland Security, Science, Armed Services, Education and Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees.

The letter requests that DeVos provide more information pertaining to the allegations against China, including all documents related to schools that have accepted funds from China, as well as details of any investigations into colleges and education officials who may have accepted “gifts” from the communist state.

“We write to seek a better understanding of the Department’s efforts to address unreported foreign direct investment into the U.S. higher education system,” the letter reads.
