US likely behind ‘Ninja Bomb’ strike that killed 2 Al Qaeda terrorist commanders

The U.S. military is believed to have killed two al-Qaeda-linked senior commanders in a drone strike which may have involved a secret U.S. missile.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the drone strike in Syria occurred on Sunday, according to the Associated Press. The group believes the United States is behind the strike, as the U.S. military has targeted extremists in the region for years.

The drone strike hit a vehicle, killing the commanders inside — a Jordanian named Qassam al-Urduni, also known as “Qassam the Jordanian,” and a Yemeni citizen known as Bilal al-Sanaani, the commander of the group’s so-called “desert army,” according to al-Mohrar Media, an activist collective in northern Syria.

The attack hit in the northwestern province of Idlib, the last remaining rebel stronghold in war-torn Syria. Al-Qaeda-linked militants dominate Idlib, which is home to 3 million civilians.

The suspect in the assault on a 92-year-old NYC woman is a registered sex offender arrested ‘more than 100 times’

Rashid Brimmage, the 31-year-old arrested in connection with the assault of a 92-year-old woman that was captured on surveillance video, is reportedly a registered sex offender has been arrested “more than 100 times”:

Brimmage is actually due in court in July on other charges:

Police sources say he’s a registered sex offender who has been arrested about 101 times. Some include assault, harassment, resisting arrest and persistent sexual abuse. He’s due in court in July for arrests from earlier this year.

Because 2020 hasn’t already presented the world with enough challenges, there’s always the little-noticed fact that troops of two nuclear powers have been facing off against each other in the Himalayas for the last 45 days or so.

Yesterday, they came to blows. Not a shot was fired, but 20 Indian soldiers were killed in hand-to-hand combat involving fist and rocks. It isn’t known how many Chinese were killed because the ChiComs don’t announce those things and who’d believe them anyway?

The border in that part of the world has been disputed for decades and this is the first deadly encounter between India and the Chinese in 45 years. No on wants to find out how much more deadly the situation will get if the forces arrayed along the disputed border graduate to weapons that go bang.

A border clash high in the Himalayas between the world’s two most populated countries has claimed the lives of 20 Indian soldiers in the first deadly violence since the two nuclear armed neighbors faced off in a border dispute 45 year ago.

The Indian and Chinese troops fought each other with fists and rocks along the high-altitude Himalaya terrain in a clash that left 20 Indian soldiers dead, Indian authorities said Tuesday.

China accused Indian forces of carrying out “provocative attacks” on its troops and has not said if any of its soldiers have died.

The Indian army said in its statement that the two sides had “disengaged” from the disputed Galwan area where they clashed overnight on Monday.

The army originally reported that three Indian soldiers had died, but later said 17 additional soldiers succumbed to injuries they suffered in the sub-zero temperatures where the...
