MEET DON HARRIS, KAMALA HARRIS’ COMMUNIST FATHER

The below article about Marxist economics professor Don Harris, Kamala Harris’ father, was posted at the Stanford University newspaper on May 13, 1975, when his daughter was just 10 years old.

The Stanford Daily article laughably claims that economic students at Stanford in 1975 were clamoring to learn more about Marxist economics, so the university accommodated them by offering Kamala’s father a position. Don Harris was referred to glowingly by fellow Marxist Economics Professor John Gurley as “one of the leading young people in Marxist economics.”

The 45-year-old Stanford Daily article, titled “Marxist Offered Economics Post,” was posted first on Trevor Loudon’s website Keywiki.org, where more information is posted about the father of the Democrat Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate. See Loudon’s articles at the Epoch Times about Kamala Harris’ own socialist ties, as well as a prophetic article from August 2019 about the forces surrounding Kamala Harris and why she was chosen to be the Democratic nominee for President.

According to the Stanford article:

“New course offerings in radical economics for 1975-76 are expected to include seminars in “Imperialism and Dependency,” “Marxian Social Change,” and “Marxist Economic Theory.'”

By comparison, a bland article published today at Marie Claire refers to Don Harris as “a prominent former economics professor at Stanford and an immigrant from Jamaica.”

The economic polices of Kamala Harris from her now-archived website are hard left in nature: raising taxes, class war, pro-welfare state, etc. “As president, she’ll mandate equal pay for women, promote policies that build wealth in communities of color, and crack down on corporations that exploit vulnerable Americans for profit,” the article reads in part. Leo Tolstoy, in an essay about War and Peace, debates whether history is shaped by Historical Forces or by Great Men. Indeed, War and Peace itself is Tolstoy’s way of exploring this dichotomy. He comes down on the side of Historical Forces. He downplays the importance of Great Men. Great Men, he says, are thrown up when needed by powerful Historical Forces that are beyond anyone’s control. If one historical Great Man didn’t exist, then Historical Forces would toss up another to take his place.

Powerful Historical Forces do exist, and we are caught up in them. The rest of Tolstoy’s thesis is problematic. There is something much deeper going on that I believe Tolstoy missed. He failed to ask what causes Historical Forces. He did not recognize that occasionally a single individual can be a pivot around which history itself revolves to proceed in an entirely new direction.

This pivotal individual might be the creator of an idea, or he might be a leader at a critical time.

Consider ideas. The insights of the great spiritual leaders engendered the great religions which have shaped human history. Much more recently the world has suffered from Karl Marx. His seductive ideas have spawned several competing secular cults: Communism, Socialism, National Socialism, Fascism, Maoism. Marx even deeply influenced Progressivism. Progressivism was an American creation, but, under the influence of Marx, it became equally pernicious. All these children of Marx promise the delusional perfectibility of mankind. All these Marxian cults are collectivist in nature. There is no room for the individual in the world of Marx or the progressives. Marx does not fit within Tolstoy’s thesis.

A distinctly different type of historical pivot is the truly great man. If that specific individual, not some generalized “Great Man,” had not stepped onto to the stage history would have been very different. The classic example where a unique individual changed the course of history is Winston Churchill. When Churchill was named prime minister, England was already defeated and its government accepted defeat. Foreign Secretary Lord Halifax had already started to negotiate surrender terms. Churchill said no! Churchill recognized, and drew upon, something deep in British culture. Through the force of his will Churchill amplified that unique spirit until it became the immovable object which stopped and ultimately defeated Germany. Thus, Churchill deflected the historical direction of increasing world totalitarianism by calling up a counterforce which lay latent in the British people. Churchill was a pivot of history. Churchill does not fit within Tolstoy’s thesis.

Portland Police: Man Viciously Beaten by BLM Protesters Was Trying to Help Transgender Victim of Robbery

Adam Haner is now conscious and recovering at home.

Police investigators have confirmed that the man viciously beaten by Black Lives Matter protesters in Portland on Sunday night was trying to help a transgender female who had been the victim of a robbery.

BLM agitators claimed they attacked the man, subsequently identified as Adam Haner, because he was a “white supremacist” trying to run people over while shouting racial slurs, but there is no evidence of this whatsoever.

Shocking footage shows protesters trying to drag Haner out of his vehicle while assaulting his female companion, before they continue to pursue him, causing Haner to crash his Ford 4×4.

Haner is then assaulted again before a man later identified as Marquise “Keese” Lee Love, a “security guard” for Black Lives Matter, kicks him in the head, immediately knocking him unconscious and leaving him bleeding on the street.

The Portland Police Bureau issued a statement appearing to confirm reports that Haner was trying to help the victim of a robbery before he was beaten.

“Investigators learned that the victim may have been trying to help a transgender female who had some of her thing stolen in the area of Southwest Taylor and 4th Ave, the location where this incident began,” states a press release.

“That person has not been contacted and their identity is unknown. Investigators would like to speak to this person.”

U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Florida Democrat, stands accused of allegedly assaulting a 16-year-old volunteer for her primary rival.

According to the teen, the incumbent is “a monster.”

There is no indication as yet that a video of the incident exists or that a police report was filed ( Sidebar: Florida Dems are known for particularly dirty politics).

Opponent Jen Perelman, who evidently is challenging Wasserman Schultz from the left (if that’s even possible, given how radical most rank-and-file Democrats have become), put Wasserman Schultz on notice via social media that the alleged scuffle was unacceptable.

“I’m only going to say this once. if you want to put your hands on anyone, try it with me. Don’t you EVER touch my volunteers. We’re winning this race on Tuesday.

“For those who want context: Debbie physically shoved one of my volunteers handing out palm cards & then verbally accosted her for calling out her record on the environment. This will NOT be tolerated.”

The alleged victim, self-described political advocate and climate activist Martina Velasquez, explained her version of what happened in a TikTok video that also made its way to Twitter:
