CYBERATTACK: 45% of East Coast fuel shuts down after major online attack

A major pipeline system that stretches from Texas to New Jersey was shut down Saturday after a massive cyberattack crippled the crucial fuel supply line.

Pipeline operator Colonial Pipeline said they shut down their system after a ransomware attack was discovered. This type of cyberattack locks down systems until payment is given.

CNBC reports that the system carries “2.5 million barrels per day of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other refined products through 5,500 miles.” No entity has been found responsible yet.

The company says they supply nearly half of the Eastern United States’ oil and fuel.

“On May 7, the Colonial Pipeline Company learned it was the victim of a cybersecurity attack. In response, we proactively took certain systems offline to contain the threat, which has temporarily halted all pipeline operations, and affected some of our IT systems. April Job Numbers Are So Bad, CNBC Thought It Was A Typo

The economy still remains 8.2 million jobs short of pre-lockdown levels after the April jobs report published Friday signaled a slow, long road to recovery.

Only 266,000 jobs were added last month, far below the estimated million forecasters predicted. Unemployment was expecting to go down, not up, as it did to 6.1 percent while the government continues to dole out generous benefits to incentivize Netflix and couch surfing over a paycheck.

The April jobs numbers were so low, CNBC’s Steve Liesman appeared to believe there may have been a typo on air.

“It looks like 266,000. It looks like it was a big disappointment at 266, but maybe I have that wrong,” Liesman said, before confirming the number on the Bureau of Labor Statistics website. “Yes, 266 is correct … We have some issues here.”

How many Americans have died after taking the Covid vaccine? According to official data, between late December of 2020, and last month, a total of 3,362 people apparently died after getting the COVID vaccines in the United States. That’s an average of 30 people every day.

The death toll was reported by American journalist Tucker Carlson citing data from the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System database, or VAERS.

White supremacist beats Chinese man-“F* you Chinese…I hate you”

An Asian jewelry store owner was attacked by a non-white supremacist for not letting him open store items in the store. The attacker, a black man, became upset and started punching him while cursing, saying he hated Chinese people.

The victim, Chong Hu Lu, owner of Max Trading, told News 4 DC that he needed 14 stitches.

The attacker, a non-white supremacist yelled, “F* you Chinese people. I hate you.”

If we are going to stop Asian hate, we probably should start by honestly identifying the problem. Black men are beating Chinese people. That is the problem.
