Grand theft: More say Biden taking credit for Trump achievements
When it comes to giving credit to former President Donald Trump on issues ranging from the coronavirus vaccine to the improving economy, President Joe Biden and his team have gone radio silent.
But a new survey of likely voters shows that they haven’t.
In fact, in the latest Zogby Poll provided to Secrets, likely voters, by a 49%-37% margin, believe Biden is taking credit for Trump’s achievements.
But a new survey of likely voters shows that they haven’t.
In fact, in the latest Zogby Poll provided to Secrets, likely voters, by a 49%-37% margin, believe Biden is taking credit for Trump’s achievements.
Zogby Analytics pollster Jonathan Zogby said, “Almost half (49%) of surveyed voters believe President Biden is taking credit for some of Trump's accomplishments, mainly, vaccine rollout/distribution and the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, while 37% of voters thought Biden accomplished the vaccine rollout and withdrawal of American troops all on his own; 14% were not sure.”
The new survey suggested that voters are not giving much credit to Biden officials who have claimed that Trump did little on those key issues and that the Democrat had to start from scratch.
But they do like the direction of the nation under Biden, 51%-43%, and maybe that's because he does take credit for policies borrowed from Trump.
Said Zogby, "During Biden's first six months in office he has been overseeing a mediocre vaccine rollout, and he also called for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Depending on who you ask, one has to wonder if Biden's taking some of the credit away from former President Trump for these particular feats. To Trump's credit he established Operation Warp Speed, passed the first stimulus bill, and was also first to publicly call for the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, for which he was met with opposition from both sides of the aisle and the military establishment."
The Zogby Poll is notable for how it breaks down voters. Groups considered on the conservative side said Biden was taking too much credit, while those on the liberal side said Biden deserves all the credit.

U.S. Supreme Court Rules Illegal Aliens Can Not Get Green-Cards From TPS
The Supreme Court, through a unanimous decision, has curbed the limitations of Temporary Protected Status, ruling that its temporary protection from deportation does not guarantee a shot at a more permanent stay.
Approximately 400,000 aliens, most from El Salvador, currently live in the United States with TPS, allowing them to remain in the U.S. until the government deems they can safely return to their home country.
The crux of the case revolved around whether these aliens, who interned the United States illegally and were later provided TPS, could apply for lawful permanent residency or green cards. 9-0 the Supreme Court said, No.
The TPS beneficiaries in the case, a New Jersey couple from El Salvador who lived in the U.S. for two decades, "was not lawfully admitted, and his TPS does not alter that fact," Associate Justice Elena Kagan wrote for the court. "He, therefore, cannot become a permanent resident of this country."
"We need to be careful about tinkering with the immigration statutes as written, particularly when Congress has such a primary role here," Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh told a lawyer for...
50-Year-Old Mother Charged With ‘Transphobic Hate Crime’ For Tweeting a Photo of a Suffragette Ribbon
Feminist receives death threats from trans activists after police interrogation.
A 50-year-old mother in Scotland has been charged with a ‘transphobic hate crime’ and faces up to two years in prison after she retweeted an image of a suffragette ribbon.
Yes, really.
Unhinged transgender activists targeted Marion Millar after ludicrously claiming that the ribbon represented a noose. The Scottish feminist drew their ire after campaigning to protect biological women’s spaces and right to express themselves.
“The messages investigated by officers are understood to include a retweeted photograph of a bow of ribbons in the green, white and purple colours of the Suffragettes, tied around a tree outside the Glasgow studio where a BBC soap opera is shot,” reports the Times.
Millar was forced to attend a 2 hour police interview and was subsequently charged under the Malicious Communications Act.
After the interview, Millar quoted Satanic Verses author Salman Rushdie: “Nobody has the right to not be offended. That right doesn’t exist in any declaration I have ever read.”
“Police and politicians seem to have lost sight of this,” she added.
Millar opposes gender self-identification because she asserts that it makes it easier for male sex predators to hide their intentions.
“Gender identity is a belief. Not a fact. Sex is a fact. Not a belief. The law has no business in transforming facts into beliefs and beliefs into facts,” stated a sign carried by one of Millar’s supporters:
Romanian Businessman Hired Hunter Biden to Overturn Bribery Conviction Using Propaganda Campaign:
Hunter Biden was once hired by a Romanian real estate magnate who was later convicted of bribery.
The U.K. Daily Mail broke the news on Monday and detailed how the real estate magnate, Gabriel Popoviciu, had bribed a university administrator to buy a 550-acre plot of government-owned land at a greatly reduced price in 2016.
“Hunter Biden and a former FBI director were hired by a Romanian tycoon later convicted of bribery — and represented him in meetings with top U.S. officials — emails from Hunter’s laptop show,” the outlet reported.
The younger Biden was expected to use his influence to persuade prosecutors to drop the case.

Hunter Biden’s laptop reportedly proved to contain evidence of emails showing him using his extensive U.S. government connections to help the criminal magnate. All of these meetings occurred while Joe Biden was in the White House.
Among the emails were sent from Louis Freeh, the former director of the FBI, to use his U.S. law agency contacts to help Popoviciu.
Hunter Biden and his cohorts also talked about doing a media campaign to spin their client in a better light. Among the publications they considered was The Wall Street Journal.
Popoviciu’s name first appeared in Hunter Biden’s emails in September 2015.
“Firm partner Chris Boies wrote to Hunter and his business partner Devon Archer with the subject line ‘Popoviciu’, and the message: ‘Let’s discuss when convenient… One of my partners is best friends with the newly appointed Ambassador to Romania,'” the Daily Mail reported.
The next time Hunter Biden heard from Popoviciu was in May 2016, when he was about to be convicted of bribery in Romania.
Springing Into Action
Upon hearing this, Hunter Biden and his colleagues sprung into action and reached out to Hans Klemm, then the U.S. ambassador to Romania, for help in seeking an acquittal.
“I have reached out to Klemm and asked him to help us broker the meeting [with Romanian anti-corruption officials],” lawyer Michael Gottlieb wrote to Hunter Biden in...
