Former Acting DNI Ric Grenell: Gen. Milley’s Lying About Who Decided to Shut Down Bagram

Ric Grenell, President Trump’s former acting Director of National Intelligence, on Tuesday said General Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has not been truthful about who made the disastrous decision to shut down Bagram Air Force Base before evacuating American citizens and Afghan allies from the war-torn country.

During an interview on Fox News, Grenell took aim at Milley, accusing the four-star general of falsely claiming that the commander in charge of Bagram Air Force Base, General Scott Miller, advised the Biden White House to shut the base down.

“I can tell you that that’s not true. I know that from very first hand information. General Miller did not want to close Bagram but General Milley said that he did,” Grenell told Fox News host Bill Hemmer.

During a press conference on August 18, Milley claimed that CENTCOM commander General Kenneth McKenzie, and General Miller had made the decision to close Bagram Air Force Base.

“Our task given to us at that time, our task was protect the embassy in order for the embassy personnel to continue to function with their consular service and all that. If we were to keep both Bagram and the embassy going, that would be a significant number of military forces that would have exceeded what we had or stayed the same or exceeded what we had,” Milley told reporters.

“So we had to collapse one or the other, and a decision was made. The proposal was made form CENTCOM commander and the commander on the grounds, Scott Miller, to go ahead and collapse Bagram,” Milley continued. “That was all briefed and approved, and we estimated that the risk of going out of HKIA or the risk of going out of Bagram about the same, so going out of HKIA — was estimated to be the better tactical solution in accordance with the mission set we were given and in accordance with getting the troops down to about 600, 700 number.”

Grenell disputed Milley’s version of events, telling Hemmer that Miller had actually warned the White House not to close the base.

“I know that General Miller made those stark warnings to [National Security Advisor] Jake Sullivan and said ‘do not close Bagram,’ and Bagram was closed,” the former diplomat said. “Our troops were removed, and we left ten percent of Americans behind. The Biden Doctrine for the rest of history will be ’90 percent is good enough,'” he added.

During Senate testimony on June 23, Milley himself recommended that Bagram be shut down because “it’s not necessary tactically for the operation we’re going to do here with...

Under The Rule Of Our Managerial Elites, There Will Be No Resignations

It doesn’t matter how badly they botch their jobs, or how much misery they cause, our ruling class is immune from accountability.

It must be nice to work for the Biden administration. No matter how badly you mess up, or lie, or mislead the American people, you will never be forced to resign or be held accountable. You can lie and dissimulate about the most serious matters facing the country, and nothing will happen to you.

Take two recent examples: the origins of COVID-19 and the botched Afghanistan withdrawal.

When news broke this week that the U.S. National Institute Of Allergy and Infectious Diseases funded dangerous bat coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through grants to EcoHealth Alliance, a U.S.-based health organization, it didn’t take long for some to call on Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of NIAID, to resign.

“Anthony Fauci has repeatedly and deliberately mislead Congress and the American people. Resign. And face a congressional inquiry,” tweeted Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, who has pointedly questioned Fauci on his agency’s involvement in so-called “gain-of-function” research in China, said Tuesday that he asked the Department of Justice “to review Fauci’s testimony for lying to Congress,” as he has done previously.

In May, Fauci told Paul and a Senate committee investigating the origins of COVID-19 that the National Institutes of Health, “has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

But a report published Monday by The Intercept appears to flatly contradict Fauci’s statements to Congress. According to documents obtained by The Intercept as part of ongoing Freedom of Information Act litigation against the NIH, the agency issued grants to EcoHealth Alliance for “bat coronavirus research” in the amount of “$3.1 million, including $599,000 that the Wuhan Institute of Virology used in part to identify and alter bat coronaviruses likely to infect humans.”

Dr. Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University, reviewed the grant documents and concluded that, Fauci’s previous assertions notwithstanding, the NIH did in fact fund gain-of-function” research at the Chinese lab.

“The materials show that the 2014 and 2019 NIH grants to EcoHealth with subcontracts to WIV funded gain-of-function research as defined in federal policies in effect in 2014-2017 and potential pandemic pathogen enhancement as defined in federal policies in effect in 2017-present,” Ebright wrote on Twitter. “The materials confirm the grants supported the construction — in Wuhan — of novel chimeric SARS-related coronaviruses that combined a spike gene from one coronavirus with genetic information from another coronavirus, and confirmed the resulting viruses could infect human cells.”

So it seems Fauci has been lying about his knowledge of...

Study: Transgender Mortality Rate Twice as High as Those Without Gender Dysphoria

Analysis of data compiled from the Netherlands reveals transgender individuals have a significantly higher mortality rate when compared to people without gender dysphoria, an outcome that suggests a need to closely examine the effects of hormone treatments.

The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology journal published a report Thursday on the data that was compiled from medical records over five decades.

Researchers Martin den Heijer, Ph.D., of Amsterdam University Medical Centre (UMC) and colleagues found mortality risk among the transgender population did not decrease between 1972 and 2018.

“The findings of our large, nationwide study highlight a substantially increased mortality risk among transgender people that has persisted for decades,” den Heijer said in a statement reported by HCPLive.

He added the observational data analysis suggests cross-sex hormone treatments may not be as safe in the long term as has been accepted:
Gender-affirming hormone treatment is thought to be safe, and most causes of death in the cohort were not related to this. However, as there is insufficient evidence at present to determine their long-term safety, more research is needed to fully establish whether they in any way affect mortality risk for transgender people.
UMC operates a gender identity clinic, and, as the authors explain, data of transgender individuals who received hormone treatments between...

Air Force software chief quits after slamming SECDEF, joint chiefs: ‘We’re setting up to fail’

Nicholas Chaillan, the U.S. Air Force’s first-ever Chief Software Officer (CSO) publicly quit his job last week after criticizing the service’s reliance on unqualified officers which he said is setting up its IT infrastructure to fail. He also faulted the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff for not following through with funding on a major technology project, the Joint All-Domain Command, Control framework (JADC2).

Chaillan announced his decision to quit working with the Department of Defense and the Department of the Air Force in a LinkedIn post on September 2.

“It is time! It is time for me to say goodbye to the Department of Defense and the Department of the Air Force,” Chaillan began his LinkedIn post.

“One of the main reasons for my decision was the failure of OSD and the Joint Staff to deliver on their own alleged top ‘priority,’ JADC2 – they couldn’t ‘walk the walk,'” Chaillan wrote. “I put my reputation on the line when I shared that I was asked by the Joint Staff to join the JADC2 team as their CSO. They wanted me to help deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within 4 months so that we would finally have a tangible deliverable to show for JADC2, not just redundant and siloed work performed by each of the DoD services or vaporware/stale documents

Chaillan said that while OSD and the Joint Staff said JADC2 is a top priority, the DoD “could not even find $20M” for the project. “A rounding error for the Department.”

In his letter, Chaillan also called on the Air Force to stop appointing mid-level officers with generalized skillsets to run specialized technology projects.

“Please stop putting a Major or Lt Col. (despite their devotion, exceptional attitude, and culture) in charge of ICAM, Zero Trust or Cloud for 1 to 4 million users when they have no previous experience in that field,” Chaillan wrote. “We are setting up critical infrastructure to fail. We would not put a pilot in the cockpit without extensive flight training; why would we expect someone with no IT experience to...

Biden Receives Cold Welcome in New Jersey Post-Tropical Storm, Afghanistan

Joe Biden was met with large crowds of protestors in deep-blue New Jersey as he surveyed damage from Hurricane Ida, in a display that surprised Democrats who expected a warm welcome in the state Biden easily won in November.

Biden toured a flooded neighborhood of Mansville, New Jersey, where he met the most opposition- from residents and community members who spoke to him from behind barriers and yard fences. Biden also toured a flooded neighborhood in the Queens borough of New York City.

Biden protestors demanded that the president resigned, likening him to a tyrant.

Protestors were mainly incensed at President Biden for the American debacle in Afghanistan, where American citizens and billions in military equipment were left behind as the US-backed puppet government capitulated to the Taliban in mere days.

A crew of construction workers turned their back to the President as he drove by on a highway:

Video: Joe Rogan Says He May Sue CNN For “Making Sh*t Up” About Him “Taking Horse Dewormer”

“They’re trying to make it sound like I’m doing such wacky sh*t that’s completely ineffective.”

Podcast king Joe Rogan threatened to sue CNN on a broadcast this week, saying that the network is constantly spreading lies about him taking Ivermectin, after CNN claimed that the medicine is horse de-wormer, when it is not.

“Do I have to sue CNN? They’re making sh*t up,” Rogan said during the episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

“They keep saying I’m taking horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor. But CNN keeps saying I’m taking horse dewormer. They must know that that’s a lie,” Rogan added.

Rogan was prescribed ivermectin to treat COVID symptoms, along with monoclonal antibodies, Z-pak, prednisone, and an IV vitamin drip. Rogan says he got better in three days.

While it hasn’t been officially approved to treat COVID, the medicine is on the World Health Organization’s List of Essential Medicines, and is FDA-approved as an antiparasitic agent.

“What they didn’t highlight is that I got better,” said Rogan. “They’re trying to make it sound like I’m doing such wacky sh*t that’s completely ineffective. CNN was saying that I’m a distributor of misinformation.”

“It’s an American company,” Rogan said of the manufacturer Merk. “They won the Nobel prize in 2015 for use in human beings,” he continued, adding “Multiple doctors told me to take it.”

Rogan’s guest Tom Segura noted that he was inundated with messages from leftists wishing he had gotten sicker from the virus.

Rogan responded, noting that the fact he got better so quickly was their “worse case scenario”, adding “They’re weak bitches.”
