New White House Dog Professionally Trained To Not Growl When Biden Touches A Child
WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a video released by the Administration, President Biden showed off the newest, furry addition to the White House: an adorable German Shepherd puppy named Commander who has been professionally trained not to growl when Biden touches a child.
“It took weeks of intensive training to overcome the German Shepherd’s instinctive desire to protect vulnerable children, but we did it,” said professional pet trainer Bob Heirbouy, who demonstrated by grabbing a child-size doll and sniffing its hair aggressively in front of Commander, who simply tilted his head and looked on. “Commander will be a perfect fit in the Biden White House.”
The dog trainer added that his business is booming since training Biden’s dog to ignore any acts toward children ranging from general creepiness to outright abuse, stating he has received calls from celebrities, business executives, and elite politicians.
“I’m swamped,” said Mr. Heirbouy, “Right now I’m training a cat for the Biden family so it will seek out and pee on stray...
Finnish firm earns US patent for Covid drug containing ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine
The Turku company says its nasal spray delivers low, safe doses of hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin and aprotinin.
A coronavirus drug developed by Therapeutica Borealis, a pharmaceutical firm in Turku, has been granted a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The nasal spray contains hydroxychloroquine, among other ingredients.
Earlier in May, the company said it had received approval for a patent application, based on which it expected a final patent this month.
“The final patent is an important milestone for us on our way to the market. Our next goal is to find an established pharmaceutical industry company with an international business scale,” says Professor Kalervo Väänänen, one of the three inventors and founders of Therapeutica Borealis, in a press release on Monday. Väänänen is a cell biologist and former rector of the University of Turku.
The co-inventors of the drug and co-founders of Therapeutica Borealis are Lauri Kangas, an adjunct professor of science at the University of Turku, and Matti Rihko, a psychologist, and board chair of the Turku Chamber of Commerce and of the University of Turku. He is also a former CEO of the Raisio food corporation, known for its cholesterol-lowering Benecol products.
According to the company, the nasal spray acts on cell function in nasal mucous in three ways, impairing the ability of the virus to penetrate the body and multiply, thus reducing the risk of serious illness.
Another Finnish pharmaceutical company, Rokote Laboratories, has been developing a coronavirus vaccine in nasal spray form, but has struggled to gain financing.
“Tackling the pandemic probably requires, in addition to a vaccine, a preventive or early-acting drug. This drug also helps especially in a situation where vaccine coverage threatens to remain too low for herd immunity,” said Väänänen.
WHO warned against ivermectin use except in clinical trials
The firm said that the drug's active ingredients – aprotinin, hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin – are well-known and widely used drugs, but in this product are used in a new, targeted manner on the upper respiratory mucous membrane.
All the drug molecules covered by the patent are approved for the treatment of other diseases, but if used systemically, for instance as pills or infusions swallowed by patients, the amounts of drugs would be high and potentially harmful.
For topical use, as in a nasal spray, the concentrations of the active ingredients throughout the body remain very low but are sufficient locally to prevent the passage and replication of the virus, making the drug safer and...
2 arrested after suspects drove car into crowd at Christmas parade in Florida
Baker was charged with having no valid driver’s license, possession of narcotics without a prescription, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and child neglect.
Terryous Jorelle Baker, 27, and Elizabeth Chavez, 24, have both been arrested when a car the male suspect was allegedly driving crashed into a crowd at a Winter Garden parade in Florida, on the outskirts of Orlando, last Sunday.
Baker has been charged with multiple counts in connection with the incident. Police also arrested Chavez, a passenger in Baker's car, on an outstanding warrant.
Local police told local outlet WFTV 9 that law enforcement was just starting to block the streets to be used for the route of the Golf Cart Christmas Parade when the car traveling at a high rate of speed came careening toward the gathered crowd. A police officer trying to slow the driver down was almost hit.
According to police, Baker continued to accelerate and plowed into another car nearby. A foot pursuit ensued when the driver ran away and was apprehended by an off-duty officer from another jurisdiction who was in the crowd.
The driver whose vehicle was struck by Baker's car suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, police reported. Police said there was a woman and two juveniles in the car when the suspect ran from authorities.
Documents from Winter Garden Police Department detail the timeline of events when the suspect hit a car with a family inside and nearly striked an officer.
According to WFTV, an officer said he was waiting for the parade to begin when someone flagged him down; a white Toyota Highlander had been hit by a speeding car. The police report stated that the other officer directing traffic for the parade had stepped into the road and "projected" his voice to tell the driver to "slow down." At that moment, the officer "heard the engine rev" and the vehicle sped up "coming right at him." Police records show police found a...

Stunning Covid data from Denmark - Spoiler Alert: Covid 19 Vaccines Are Worse Than Useless....
But not for the reason you've been told; the story is vaccine failure, not Omicron
The Danes are now publishing extremely detailed daily data about Covid cases and hospitalizations - not just about Omicron, but all Covid variants.
And, in news that will surprise precisely no one who has been alive the last two years, they paint a picture entirely different than what the media claims.
Omicron - which continues to appear significantly less dangerous though more transmissible than earlier variants of Covid - has been used as a cover for vaccine failure.
Most new Covid cases in Denmark occur in people who are vaccinated or boosted - and that is true for both Omicron and earlier variants. More than 76 percent of non-Omicron Covid infections in Denmark are in vaccinated people, along with about 90 percent of Omicron infections.
Further, only 25 of the 561 people currently hospitalized in Denmark for Covid have the Omicron variant. The Danes do not provide an exact number for patients in intensive care with Omicron, saying only that it is fewer than five.
Perhaps the most stunning fact about Omicron and Denmark is that its rise actually parallels a marked slowdown in the growth of Danish hospitalizations and intensive care patients. Those rose roughly fivefold between mid-October and late November, as the Danes left the happy vaccine valley. Since then they have barely budged, rising about 20 percent.
Danish Covid hospitalizations over the last three months: note that the rise predates Omicron.
On Friday, for example, the Danes reported that the total number of...
Today Is The Winter Solstice 12-21-21...
The winter solstice, also called the hiemal solstice, hibernal solstice, and brumal solstice, occurs when either of Earth's poles reaches its maximum tilt away from the Sun. This happens twice yearly, once in each hemisphere (Northern and Southern). For that hemisphere, the winter solstice is the day with the shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year, when the Sun is at its lowest daily maximum elevation in the sky.[3] Either pole experiences continuous darkness or twilight around its winter solstice. The opposite event is the summer solstice. Depending on the hemisphere's winter solstice, at the Tropic of Cancer or Capricorn, the Sun reaches 90° below the observer's horizon at solar midnight, to the nadir.
The winter solstice occurs during the hemisphere's winter. In the Northern Hemisphere, this is the December solstice (usually December 21 or 22) and in the Southern Hemisphere, this is the June solstice (usually June 20 or 21). Although the winter solstice itself lasts only a moment, the term sometimes refers to the day on which it occurs. Other names are the "extreme of winter" (Dongzhi), or the "shortest day". Since the 18th century, the term "midwinter" has sometimes been used synonymously with the winter solstice, although it carries other meanings as well. Traditionally, in many temperate regions, the winter solstice is seen as the middle of winter, but today in some countries and calendars, it is seen as the beginning of winter.
Since prehistory, the winter solstice has been seen as a significant time of year in many cultures, and has been marked by festivals and rituals.[4] It marked the symbolic death and rebirth of the Sun.[5][6][7] The seasonal significance of the winter solstice is in the reversal of the gradual lengthening of nights and shortening of days.
