Australian Open Censors Fans’ ‘Where Is Peng Shuai?’ Shirts, Raising Questions About Tournament’s Chinese Sponsorship
Tennis Australia demanded that fans wearing T-shirts with the question “Where is Peng Shuai?” remove their shirts at the Australian Open over the weekend.
“They are asking our friend to take her shirt off,” an incredulous fan can be heard saying in a viral video showing the peaceful confrontation with security.
“The Australian Open does have a rule that you can’t have political slogans,” a security officer appears to say in the video. “They are allowed to confiscate your shirts and the banner.”Peng Shuai’s story caused international concern when the world’s No. 1 doubles player suspiciously disappeared after taking to social media to accuse a senior Chinese Communist Party official of sexual assault. After criticism from the Women’s Tennis Association and other global voices, China sent the WTA an email supposedly from Peng insisting “everything is fine.”
Shortly afterward, Chinese state media released footage of Peng and had the CCP-friendly International Olympic Committee publish a still photo of what was supposedly a video conference with Peng. A month later, the tennis star denied ever making the allegations of sexual assault, raising more questions about her freedom to communicate to the world without...

Facemasks Caused A Massive 364% Spike In Children With Speech Delays
A therapist from Florida has expressed her worries over facemasks being related to speech delays within young children. Her claims have been backed up by quite alarming statistics.
After noting a significant increase in the amount of children having to suffer from speech impediments and other mask-related disorders, a speech therapist in Florida is raising concerns about the CDC’s emphasis on mask use.
According to ABC news affiliate WPBF, Jaclyn Theek, a clinic director and speech-language pathologist at the Speech and Learning Institute in North Palm Beach, stated that she had seen a 364 percent uptick in the total count of referrals for children with speech delays in 2021, implying that mask-wearing may very well be fueling unprecedented harm to healthy childhood development.
“This has been a very challenging year,” Theek mentioned at the end of 2021, explaining that before the outbreak, just 5% of her appointments were infants and toddlers, a figure that has subsequently risen to 20%.
Although “there’s no research out there yet saying that this [mask wearing] could be causing speech and language delays,” Theek is “most definitely” persuaded that it is indeed a “factor,” since several parents allude to the situation as their kids being “COVID-delayed.”
“We are seeing a lot of things that look like autism. They’re not making any word attempts. And not communicating at all with their family,” explained Theek.
“It’s very important that kids do see your face to learn, so they’re watching your mouth,” added the pathologist.
Even though Theek is completely right that no peer-reviewed research has discovered a particular dilemma with speech disruptions triggered by pandemic initiatives like masking, a study out of Rhode Island in August 2021 uncovered that kids conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic have substantially reduced perceptual capacity than...
NYC Youth Receives Paltry 14 Years in Prison for Stabbing Murder of College Freshman
A New York City youth who stabbed an 18-year old college freshman to death in Central Park as he sought to steal her phone was sentenced to a minimum of 14 years in prison on Wednesday, with the parents of murder victim Tessa Majors expressing their disappointment in Rashaun Weaver’s light sentence.
Assistant District Attorney Matthew Bogdanos read a statement from Majors’ parents before Weaver’s sentencing. Weaver, who was 14 at the time of Majors’ murder in in December 2019, plead guilty to charges of second-degree murder and robbery. He was convicted of a crime in which he stabbed the Barnard College freshman in the heart when she fought against an attempt on the part of a gang of thugs to steal her phone.
“Tess Majors cannot say how being murdered impacted her because she is dead. She is dead forever and is not coming back.
Fourteen years to life is a long time, but at the end of his sentence Rashaun Weaver goes home. Tess never will. They know she was against murder and violence in general and she never harmed another human being in her 18 years on the planet.”
Two of Weaver’s accomplices, Luciano Lewis and Zyairr Davis, are in ongoing court proceedings that could land them similar sentences.
New York City has become one of the primary municipalities in America to embrace a “progressive” form of criminal justice, in which the well-being of violent criminal offenders is placed ahead the community’s interests in justice and punishing acts of violence. A newly elected Manhattan prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, announced earlier this month he intends to eschew prison sentences altogether for most criminals convicted of violent crimes.
NYC voters have elected a nominally moderate Democrat Mayor who in his verbiage speaks forcefully against anarcho-tyranny and violent crime, but it’s yet to be known if the administration of Eric Adams will reverse the...
