Corn and Soybean Farmer Says Americans May See Grocery Bills Increase $1,000 a Month


A corn and soybean farmer from Iowa said on Wednesday that Americans can expect to see grocery bills increase $1,000 a month due to a massive increase in the price of fertilizer .

Ben Riensche, who runs the Blue Diamond Farming Company, predicted on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that the Russian sanctions, the Green New Deal, and other factors will cause a massive spike in food prices later this year, spurring more economic hardship for Americans.

“Soaring fertilizer prices are likely to spike food prices,” Riensche told host Tucker Carlson. “If you’re upset that gas is up a dollar or two a gallon, wait until your grocery bill is up $1000 a month. And it may not manifest itself in terms of price, it could be quantity as well. Empty shelf syndrome may just be starting.”

“I’m sorry, I just wanted to make sure I heard you correctly. Up $1000 a month?” an incredulous Carlson asked.

“Sure,” Riensche replied. “The price of growing my crops, or the major crops, corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, cotton are up 30 to 40 percent. They are on my farm. And most of it is fertilizer. Nitrogen prices are up three times from the last crop we put in. Phosphorous and potassium have doubled.”

“The planting season in the northern hemisphere is just weeks away. There is no miracle technology that can cut that in a half or a third,” he said. “It’s a pretty fixed formula. For me to grow an acre of corn on my farm, I need 200 pounds of nitrogen, 200 pounds of phosphorus, and 100 pounds of potash [fertilizer potassium].

Riensche told Carlson that it remains to be seen how this plays out, and speculated that some farmers may opt to “switch to other crops that produce less.”

He said the main culprit is the price of natural gas. “It’s the key stock of most fertilizer inputs,” he explained. “But then we’ve got supply chain rules that came from the pandemic, a few hurricanes that knocked down some supply sources.”

But the key driver of the problem is the price of gas, he asserted. “This could kind of be described as the food crisis of the Green New Deal,” Riensche declared.
Policies that have made us more dependent on foreign energy, energy plants that have been decommissioned from other power sources, and transitioned to natural gas, and that’s competing against fertilizer input stocks, Wall Street taking an activist investor role with strategic plant closures, but the kingpin in this—the worst part for a farmer—is this action that’s been taken by the International Trade Commission (ITC)—tariffs that they put in place that are creating monopolies.
Riensche said farmers now can’t buy from friendly parties that have a third of the supplies.”


In in February 2021, the Biden administration recommended that the International Trade Commission (ITC) implement tariffs of over 19 percent on imported fertilizers from Morocco after the Mosaic Company, which manufactures fertilizers used in the U.S. and abroad, filed a petition with the U.S. Department of Commerce seeking the levies.

A newly released document featuring data pertaining to adverse reactions following a round of Pfizer’s Covid-19 inoculations has been making rounds on the internet.

Details of the document were damning, revealing a massive number of observed adverse reactions beginning on page 30. The list is exhaustive, continuing seemingly endlessly until its conclusion about 8 pages later.

It appears that much of the information in the document was hidden from the public in the past, with a blurb on the first page explaining that “dissemination of this information outside of Pfizer, its Affiliates, its Licensees, or Regulatory Agencies is strictly prohibited.”

The number of adverse events listed remained numerous. One notable condition found in Pfizer’s data is 1p36 deletion syndrome, which the National Library of Medicine describes as “a disorder that typically causes severe intellectual disability.” They also point out the severity of the disease, noting that “most affected individuals do not speak, or speak only a few words” and “may have temper tantrums, bite themselves, or exhibit other behavior problems.”

New JAMA paper show Ivermectin blows the COVID vaccines out of the water


Whoops! How embarrassing! The CDC gave you bad advice. If you want to survive COVID, you should use the drug they said to avoid, and avoid the drug they said to use.

Remember that “horse dewormer” that the FDA, CDC, NIH, CNN, and Sanjay Gupta all told you not to use? A new paper recently published in the Journal of the AMA (JAMA) shows that Ivermectin works way better than the COVID vaccine in keeping you from dying from COVID.

This was an open-label randomized trial done in Malaysia with around 250 patients in each arm. One arm got IVM + standard of care, the other arm got the standard of care.

Of course, JAMA never would have published this if they thought that people would actually look at the data. The abstract says: “The study findings do not support the use of ivermectin for patients with COVID-19.” You are supposed to read the abstract and believe that ivermectin has no effect.

In fact, that’s exactly what people do even when you tell them expressly to ignore that:


Do not fall for it. Read the paper if you want the truth. If you want to be misled, just read the abstract.

Pierre Kory did a brilliant takedown of the paper on his substack. I won’t repeat that here. Instead, I’ll just summarize the data for you; the hidden gems in the paper that you are never supposed to notice.
The data

The lower the p-value, the more significant the result is. A Chi-squared test was used. Data came from the JAMA paper appendix.


Interpretation of the data

So there are five takeaways from the study:

Vaccine efficacy in the real world is quite small. If you got vaccinated, it reduced your chance of death by just 24%. However, the study did NOT look at the all-cause mortality of the vaccine (it only enrolled people who survived the vaccine), so the tiny absolute risk reduction you get from a 24% relative risk reduction (roughly 24% of .25% =.06% benefit) is less than the absolute risk of dying from the vaccine (around .2%). See Incriminating Evidence for details on this.

If you were not vaccinated (which you shouldn’t be), ivermectin reduced your chance of death by 72%. So it was 3 times more effective than the vaccine. But the risk of ivermectin is negligible so the risk-benefit ratio is extremely favorable. Ivermectin has a 3X effect size (benefit) and is more than 100,000X less risky with respect to death risk, killing nobody (compared to over 200,000 people from the vaccine). So it’s the clear choice. It’s the only rational choice.

The vaccine did provide a SMALL incremental benefit if you took both (10% lower risk), but it’s a non-starter since the risk-benefit analysis doesn’t support ever using the vaccine.

If we want to reduce deaths, ivermectin is the way to go. Avoid the vaccine entirely.

There is no way you have a paper like this with 431,000 views and just two comments. This implies that virtually all the comments were counter-narrative and were censored from public view. That in itself is stunning.

It’s Now Clear How Misinformed The Public Has Been About The Risks Of COVID-19


Now that President Joe Biden has declared that Americans can begin to return to life as normal after the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s possible to look back at the toll it wrought on the United States and how that compares to the perception of the American people.

After recent polling showed that a majority of Americans are ready to begin moving toward a society without COVID-19 restrictions, Democratic governors and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) began to lift mask mandates and relax mask guidance that Democratic voters have largely supported throughout the pandemic. There’s a sharp partisan divide still between Democrats who are more wary about moving on and Republicans who generally already have, and it can be explained by how misinformed the American people are about the risks of COVID-19.

Since January 21, 2020, there have been 78.8 million positive COVID-19 tests in the United States, according to the CDC, and according to any expert, at least tens of millions more undiagnosed cases. As of March 1, 947,882 Americans have died of the virus, the vast majority of them elderly or with serious comorbidities. 

1,433 Americans under age 18 have died with COVID-19, making up about 0.1% of total deaths. Seventy-five percent of COVID-19 deaths have been in Americans aged 65 and older, and among the vaccinated, over 75% of COVID-19 deaths occurred in people with at least four comorbidities, such as obesity, diabetes or cancer.

However, the average American, even the young and healthy, vastly overestimates how at-risk they are of a negative outcome from the virus.

Nearly a full year into the pandemic, in December of 2020, the Brookings Institution produced a report based on a Franklin Templeton and Gallup survey of 35,000 American adults. It found that Americans believed about 8% of COVID-19 deaths occurred in those 24 and younger, when the real portion was 0.1%. Respondents overestimated the death share for every age group except for 65 and older; they believed seniors made up around 39% of deaths, when the real portion was 81%.

Members of both parties wildly overestimated COVID-19 deaths among young people, although it was more pronounced among Democrats. In that same survey, more than one-third of Americans said that COVID-19 gave someone at least a 50% chance of ended up hospitalized. The real answer is somewhere between 1% and 5%, and only about one-in-five American adults answered correctly.

Even as the pandemic raged on, and more information became available which should have made the public more informed, more recent surveys found Americans were still dramatically off in their risk assessment. A September 2021 survey from Rasmussen Reports asked Americans what they believed the mortality rate was from COVID-19.

The real number is hard to precisely pin down, but estimates are under 2%. But 17% of Americans said it was 5% or higher, and 19% said it was 10% or higher.

Interestingly, Rasmussen found that Americans who don’t watch cable news at all were more likely to peg the correct death rate than those who watch CNN, MSNBC or Fox News.

It’s no wonder why Americans are continually overstating the risk of the pandemic. A study published near the end of 2020 found that American media’s coverage of COVID-19 skewed dramatically more negative than that of other countries. Ninety-one percent of U.S. media coverage of the pandemic at the time was negative, compared to 54% for international sources and, notably, 65% for scientific journals.

“The negativity of the U.S. major media is notable even in areas with positive scientific developments including school re-openings and vaccine trials. Media negativity is unresponsive to changing trends in new COVID-19 cases or the political leanings of the audience,” the paper’s abstract said.

A new Axios-Ipsos poll found that a sizeable chunk of Americans are still concerned about the virus, even with more than 80% of those aged 5 and up at least partially vaccinated and death and hospitalization numbers cratering.
