Rand Paul SILENCES liberals for latest Trump attack

During an appearance on “Meet the Press” this weekend, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul exposed the truth behind President Donald Trump’s history with Haiti — and there’s not much Trump’s critics can say about Paul’s smoking gun proof.

Leftist critics suggested last week that Trump called Haitian people a derogatory term because he allegedly refered to the country as a “sh*thole” — so, rather than help lead the country the president has spent almost a full week answering questions about his “tough language.”

Paul served up the facts that Democrats were hoping would never get out. Trump isn’t a racist — and there’s proof. He spent thousands and thousands of dollars of his own money, in private, to help give vision back to over hundreds of people in Haiti post-earthquake.

This is before Trump was a politician. He gave the donation because he cared, not because he wanted to score political points.

“I think it is unfair to all of a sudden, paint him, ‘well, he’s a racist,’ when I know for a fact he cares very deeply about the people in Haiti because he helped to finance a trip, we were able to give vision back for 200 people in Haiti,” he said, according to the Washington Examiner.

Paul, an ophthalmologist, planned a medical mission trip to Haiti and Trump donated a large amount of money to help make that trip happen.

Speaking further about this trip while appearing on Fox News, Paul stated, “When I went to Haiti a few years ago, I went on a medical mission trip and we did cataract surgery for about 200 people who were largely blind before their surgery,” he said.

DACA-aged illegals commit crimes at twice the rate of young Americans, says a comprehensive summary of crimes and convictions in Arizona during the past 32 years.

The report punctures claims by pro-amnesty advocates that young ‘dreamer’ illegals are vital to U.S. industry and civic life, and indicate that any amnesty will ensure that many more crimes — including murders and rapes — will be inflicted against Americans and legal immigrants, including Hispanics and blacks.

The report says:

Unfortunately, if the goal of DACA is to give citizenship to a particularly law-abiding group of undocumented immigrants, it is accomplishing the opposite of what was intended. As Table 8 shows, DACA age eligible undocumented immigrants are 250% more likely to be convicted of crimes than their share of the population. Those too old for DACA status are convicted at a relatively low rates (45.7% more than their share of the Arizona population).

The summary of the report, titled “Undocumented Immigrants, U.S. Citizens, and Convicted Criminals in Arizona,” says:

Using newly released detailed data on all prisoners who entered the Arizona state prison from January 1985 through June 2017, we are able to separate non-U.S. citizens by whether they are illegal or legal residents. These data do not rely on self-reporting by criminals. Undocumented immigrants are at least 142% more likely to be convicted of a crime than other Arizonans. They also tend to commit more serious crimes and serve 10.5% longer sentences, more likely to be classified as dangerous, and 45% more likely to be gang members than U.S. citizens …

If undocumented immigrants committed crime nationally as they do in Arizona, in 2016 they would have been responsible for over 1,000 more murders, 5,200 rapes, 8,900 robberies, 25,300 aggravated assaults, and 26,900 burglaries.

The report was prepared by John R. Lott Jr. at the Crime Prevention Research Center, in Alexandria, Va. He told Breitbart News:

The United States is unique in the sense that on both sides of the political spectrum, voters believe the media does a poor job reporting political issues in a fair way, according to huge new survey of media consumption in 38 nations.

The Pew Research Center’s study found moreover that supporters of President Trump believe the media is doing a worse job than the supporters of any of the other international political figures in countries surveyed.

It may not come as a surprise since US politics are divisive as ever.

“Large gaps in ratings of the media emerge between governing party supporters and non-supporters. On the question of whether their news media cover political issues fairly, for example, partisan differences appear in 20 of the 38 countries surveyed. In five countries, the gap is at least 20 percentage points, with the largest by far in the US at 34 percentage points,” Pew noted.

Most in the US would agree that the top five media organisastions based in the US are CNN, Fox, MSNBC, ABC News, and CBS. According to Media Bias/Fact Check, 2 of these websites, CNN and MSNBC, have a left-wing bias, ABC and CBS have a center-left bias, and Fox has a right-wing bias. Thus, the five major US sources are showing a definite right or left bias.

The survey found that only 21 percent of Americans supportive of Trump and Republicans believe the media is reporting fairly. But it also found that only 55 percent of those who that voted against Trump also believe the media is biased in their reporting on US politics.

In every other case, those numbers are reversed, Pew said.

“The US is also one of only a few countries where governing party supporters are less satisfied with their news media than are non-supporters. In most countries, people who support the political party currently in power are more satisfied with the performance of their news media than those who do not support the governing party,” the study revealed.

About three-fourths of those convicted on terrorism charges since 9/11 are foreign-born—and more than half of them aren’t U.S. citizens, according to a new report from the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security.

Still, the joint report issued Tuesday finds that prosecutors lodged more than half of all terrorism charges—295 out of 549—against U.S. citizens either by birth or naturalization.

A merit-based immigration system that favors immigrants who are able to fill needed jobs is more likely to attract immigrants who will be successful than does the current family-based system allowing chain migration, a senior Trump administration official told reporters in a conference call.

President Donald Trump favors the merit policy along with stronger border security and an end to the visa lottery system.

More successful immigrants would contribute to the prosperity and security of the country, the senior administration official said.

Though a merit-based system would be economically beneficial, it largely would be disconnected from security, said David Inserra, a policy analyst in homeland security at The Heritage Foundation.

“It depends on how we look at why someone becomes a terrorist. If we think it’s just poor people, then an economic system would change that, but we know that’s not the case,” Inserra, who maintains a database of terror plots against U.S. targets for The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal.

Sylvia Witteman writes for a leftist Dutch daily. She recently gave a revealing interview about how she purposefully writes fake news... to the same newspaper.

Under the title “People of the Volkskrant talk about their dilemmas, fascinations and the drive to know more” Witteman goes on to explain how she, unlike a few of her colleagues, always finds something to write about.

Colleague columnists like Peter Buwalda and Marcel van Roosmalen often end up not knowing what do do halfway through the writing of their columns. “Yes, Peter is having a hard time. He lives in [the posh] Amsterdam-North, he calls it Reykjavik himself, and stays there all day long. Then he emails me that he has nothing to write about and then I always say: go to the fucking supermarket or something. Walk to somewhere where you can hear people talking. Because then you really have something. If you walk outside for fifteen minutes, you have three subjects.”

She then continues on how she distorts the truth when she uncovers a story about non-white Dutch people. If she experiences something that would make them look bad, she turns the non-whites into whites for the sake of her column.

She says the Volkskrant readers would rather read about bad whites instead. After all, Witteman claims she has to sell her writing and those columns mean money to her. So it is better to distort the truth for Volkskrant readers!

Witteman is not even ashamed to admit that she is writing fake news. “Certainly, I do a lot of self-censorship. I used to use the word ‘negro’, for example, but I have not written that for a few years because it has become a loaded word – and I do not want to hurt anyone.

“But it goes much further than that. When I see something on the street where someone who is black, Turkish or Moroccan is doing something rotten, I often change him to a white Dutch person. Because otherwise I am being called a racist.

“I once wrote about an annoying Moroccan woman on a scooter with a fat boy on the back with an iPad. I had to brake for a pigeon, so she also had to brake and then I landed in big shit. I wrote that down and a description of what she looked like: a woman with a headscarf and a fat boy. I got so much angry mail about it!”

Witteman says she would never write anything negative about non-whites. “About someone who is black, I would never again write that he is fat or ugly, because then I am a racist. I just write about white women with a figure like a dripping candle, that is possible. That self-censorship goes quite far, but yes, that’s the way it is.”

Sylvia Witteman has meanwhile responded to tweets by Joost Niemöller on her revelations about writing fake news.

On Tuesday, illegal alien Luis Bracamontes, 37, went on trial in Sacramento for murdering two Sacramento-area deputies in October 2014, a crime he has admitted to in court hearings. He also shot a motorist in the head to steal his car, and wounded another deputy.

We believe these outbursts and inappropriate laughter are part of the mental illness that we talked about earlier. At this point, we would ask the court to reconsider its ruling on the 1368 motion we filed; or in the alternative, let us declare a doubt, another doubt, under penal code 1368.”

One hundred sixty-four companies have gone on record stating they gave bonuses and pay raises to employees because of the new tax reform law, according to Americans for Tax Reform.

The list has been continually updated and jumped from 40 companies to 164 in 10 days, the Washington Examiner reports.

The businesses include American Airlines, AT&T, prominent banks and savings and loans, Boeing, Comcast, Pacific Power, and Visa.

The list shows what each company paid in bonuses and includes attached statements or press releases, saying tax reform was the catalyst for each company’s decision.

AT&T showed direct support for President Donald Trump in its statement and said it expects the changes to produce more jobs and “economic growth.”

“Congress, working closely with the president, took a monumental step to bring taxes paid by U.S. businesses in line with the rest of the industrialized world,” AT&T Chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson said in a statement. “Tax reform will drive economic growth and create good-paying jobs. In fact, we will increase our U.S. investment and pay a special bonus to our U.S. employees.”

Playing the race card is no longer such a powerful tool, a civil rights leader and conservative black intellectual said Monday on “The Laura Ingraham Show.”

Black unemployment has fallen to the lowest level on record, which may be why President Donald Trump’s standing among black men has improved somewhat compared to his performance on Election Day in 2016, according to a recent poll. This is one of the few demographic groups that view Trump more favorably.

Violent clashes between locals and migrants erupt in Saxon town

Five people sustained injuries on Friday night in violent clashes at a residence inhabited by asylum seekers in Wurzen, two of them seriously. According to a police investigations, about 30 young Germans clashed with a smaller group of foreigners.

Two of the Germans were gravely injured by stab wounds to the upper legs, police announced on Saturday. Additionally, three people in the asylum seeker accommodation in Dresdner Straße were lightly injured, police spokesman Andreas Loepki told the Leipziger Volkszeitung.

Police currently cannot rule out a “xenophobic” motive but have not responded to other reports that the migrants at the centre were armed during the confrontation, while the Germans were not. Already last year, police had to intervene in clashes between asylum seekers and Germans.

The skirmishes lasted for about an hour and triggered a large reaction by the police. Some 30 to 40 officers were deployed at the scene. Witness accounts say it all started with a verbal argument between the two groups at the park at the train station, followed by a series of assaults. The asylum seekers then withdrew into their residence in Dresdner Straße. „

“Subsequently, two Germans walked up to the residence, banged on the door, and damaged a glass“, according to Loepki. The two Germans were then chased by the migrants. They eventually found themselves surrounded by a group of 30 locals.

Probably twelve inhabitants, “armed with knives and clubs”, says Loepki, then attacked the unarmed Germans. In the ensuing clash, the two suffered knife wounds to the upper thigh. A taser was used, too, apparently. Several Germans then stormed the residence where further clashes occurred.

To keep the rival groups apart, all patrol officers from the Grimma precinct were summoned, and forces from Leipzig were called to Grimma. The officers asserted the identities of those involved on-site, but there were no arrests made.

The police say it is still unclear who had committed the attacks. This needs to be proven in each individual case, says Loepki. Witnesses are being questioned about the incident, he said.

State Protection, too, has become involved in the case, to probe possible “extremist and racist” motives.

Already in June last year clashes between Germans and asylum seekers in Wurzen led to a large police operation.

Back then, approximately 100 persons had congregated in the town’s market square, and had shouted slogans in front of a residence in Wenceslaigasse. Prior to that, residents of the centre had physically attacked....

News broke late Monday that Trump White House communications director Hope Hicks is expected to testify on Capitol Hill as soon as this week regarding the Russia investigation, highlighting a major difference in how the president’s team handles congressional inquiries versus the Obama administration: they don’t plead the Fifth.

While multiple members of the Trump administration and campaign have appeared before congressional investigators for what the president has repeatedly described as the “witch hunt” Russia investigation, several officials in the Obama administration plead the Fifth Amendment’s right against self-incrimination when called to testify regarding a multitude of scandals.

Perhaps the most high profile instance of this was former IRS director of tax-exempt organizations Lois Lerner, who did so on two separate occasions when called before congressional committees to address the targeting conservative groups by her department.

In 2015, former State Department employee Bryan Pagliano plead the Fifth to the House Select Committee on Benghazi rather than answer questions related to his setting up of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private, unsecured, unauthorized email server.

Patrick Cunningham, chief of the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona, also invoked the Fifth Amendment in 2012 when called to testify before the House Oversight Committee in relation to Operation Fast and Furious.

Former Department Veterans Affairs officials John Sepulveda, Diana Rubens, and Kimberly Graves all plead the Fifth instead of testifying before Congress regarding major problems at the VA.

Additionally, former Attorney General Eric Holder consistently stonewalled congressional committee inquiries to the point where the entire House voted to hold him in contempt of Congress in 2012. The vote was 258-95, with 21 Democrats crossing over to vote with Republicans on the resolution, Politico reported.

Justice Scalia Endorsed Trump Shortly Before His Murder

Just before the murder of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in February 2016 – Scalia had begun speaking favorably about then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

According to top confidant Bryan Garner, Justice Scalia found Trump’s unfiltered and candid approach to politics “very refreshing.”

Conservativetribune.com reports: “Justice Scalia thought it was most refreshing to have a candidate who was pretty much unfiltered and utterly frank,” Garner said.

Garner said Scalia thought highly of Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker, who also ran for the GOP nomination in 2016, but was very impressed with Trump’s style and ability to push back against the establishment.

“But he was fascinated by the fact that Trump was so outspoken in an unfiltered way, and therefore we were seeing something a little more genuine than a candidate whose every utterance is airbrushed,” Garner said.

In his upcoming memoir “Nino and Me,” which is a nickname he had for Scalia, Garner revealed a story in which Trump said he owed his victory, in part, to promising to nominate a successor “very much in the mold of Justice Scalia.”

By nominating Neil Gorsuch to take Scalia’s seat on the Supreme Court, Trump honored his commitment to the GOP base and shored up a conservative-leaning majority on the nation’s highest court.

Garner told the story about how Scalia, who sometimes offered the same sarcastic and candid opinions Trump typically does, wanted to criticize an opinion from Justice Anthony Kennedy in the case that legalized gay marriage across the country.

“I’m thinking about criticizing a colleague’s writing style,” Garner recalled Scalia saying. “Do you think that sort of commentary is permissible?”

“‘Nino, for a stylist like you, it’s almost irresistible,’ I said, ‘as it would be for me. That’s especially so if the bad writing you’re criticizing reflects bad thinking,’” he said.

“‘I’m thinking about saying I’d rather put my head in a bag than join in such a badly written opinion,’” Scalia said, not revealing which case or colleague he was referring to.

When the Supreme Court delivered its ruling in June 2015 in the case Obergefell v. Hodges, as Business Insider reports, Scalia included the phrase “head in a bag” in his dissent.

“He was a man of pugnacity, and he just couldn’t help himself when he thought he had a knockout punch,” Garner said.

In the most recent incident, agents patrolling west of Nogales Wednesday evening arrested Samuel Nungaray-Cons, a 35-year-old Mexican man, for being illegally present in the country. During processing, agents conducted a records check on Nungaray and learned he was previously deported following a rape conviction and incarceration in 2005 in Bonneville County, Idaho.

Four days earlier, on Jan. 8, agents from the Nogales Station arrested a 33-year-old Mexican man convicted of rape in the state of Washington.

Like the man arrested Jan. 8, Nungaray will remain in federal custody pending prosecution for criminal immigration violations involving re-entry of an aggravated felon.
