Cryptocurrency Seeks to Lure Firearms Companies Amid Threat Banks Will Cut Off Gun Industry

With the looming threat that the financial industry may shut its doors to the gun industry, a Utah man is hoping that his cryptocurrency geared toward purchasing firearms will take off.

Since Democrats took full control of the government last month, a proposed rule that would protect businesses such as the firearms industry has been scuttled, opening the possibility that companies will see their financial services cut off. Rob McNealy, a Second Amendment supporter, created the Universal Settlement Coin (TUSC), a cryptocurrency that focuses on providing the firearms industry with a tool that would allow gun stores and firearm-related manufacturers to provide goods and services completely outside of the banking industry.

Cryptocurrencies are increasingly seen as a viable alternative for purchasing goods. They exist completely outside of the banking system, which allows stores, suppliers, and customers to make transactions that can’t be cut off by banks worried about their reputation, the primary reason given for cutting off services. Earlier this week, Tesla announced it would start accepting Bitcoin, joining such companies as Microsoft, Home Depot, and Starbucks.

McNealy created the currency three years ago in response to Operation Choke Point, an Obama administration policy which increased scrutiny on banks that did business with the firearms industry and caused many to cut ties with the industry completely. Though Operation Choke Point was ended in the first months of the Trump administration, many banks continued to deny services to the firearms industry due to pressure from gun-control activists.

McNealy said gun companies failed to anticipate the bind being cut off from financial services would put them in. "No one thought we'd see the de-platforming we do today," McNealy said.

I See You Are Running Low On Ammo.. Get More HERE

One impacted company was Spike Tactical, a Florida gun manufacturer that was told by its bank to find services elsewhere and was cut off by e-commerce provider Shopify. Cole Leleux, the company's CEO, said accepting cryptocurrency helps mitigate the threat of future...

US govt admits it keeps almost a billion firearms sales records

Gun rights groups have accused the Biden administration of trying to create a national database of firearms owners, in violation of the law

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has confirmed it was in possession of nearly one billion records of gun purchases made by US citizens.

Responding to a request by Republican Congressman Michael Cloud, the ATF said that it kept 920,664,765 such records as of November 2021. More than 855 million of these have already been digitalized, making them easier to search.

Firearm transaction records are reflected in the so-called ATF Form 4473, which includes various personal details on the buyer, including name, address and, in some cases, even social security number.

According to US federal law, gun stores can destroy these forms after 20 years. However, if a firearms dealer goes out of business during that period its files become property of the ATF. And that's how the agency was able to accumulate so many records.

“A federal firearm registry is explicitly banned by law,” Texas rep. Cloud told the Washington Free Beacon. However, the Biden administration has been “circumventing Congress” and using loopholes in the legislation to still work towards creating such database, he insisted. “Under the president’s watch, the ATF has increased surveillance on American gun owners at an abhorrent level,” the congressman added.

The federal affairs director of the Gun Owners of America, Aidan Johnston, reacted to the news by saying: “Make no mistake – this is clear evidence that a partial national gun registry exists.” According to Johnston and other gun activists, the federal government may eventually use the database to “confiscate” firearms from the population, in breach of the Second Amendment.

The ATF has denied that it's trying to create a registry of gun owners, saying in a letter to Cloud that the records are only used to help law enforcement track down firearms that have been used to commit crimes. “Every trace must be identified as such by the requestor by selecting an appropriate crime code when submitting the trace request,” it pointed out.

There were over 548 million such traces last year and almost 491 million in 2020, the agency said, adding that it had no way of knowing if those activities had led to any “successful prosecutions.”

Joe Biden has made eradicating what he calls an “epidemic of gun violence” in America one of his priorities while in office. He plans to achieve this by cracking down on...

Countdown Begins: You'll be Considered a Criminal If You Don't Register, Surrender, Alter or Destroy This Firearm

President Joe Biden’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives might have made millions of law-abiding Americans into felons overnight.

On Friday, Attorney General Merrick Garland signed off on a new ATF rule that restricts the use of stabilizing braces on firearms.

The whopping 293-page rule redefines firearms that make use of the braces as short-barreled rifles.

A stabilizing brace is an attachment designed to allow a long gun to be fired with one hand. The tools resemble the conventional stock of a rifle in some respects but differ in that they’re designed for long guns (such as AR-style weapons) that are actually pistols.

Under the new rule, owners of many firearms that use the braces have to register the guns with the federal government within 120 days, a requirement for short-barreled rifles under the National Firearms Act of 1934.

Gun owners who suddenly became the possessors of a short-barreled rifle in the eyes of the government also have the options of altering the firearms to...

Here are 8 So-Called Republicans Who Voted for Bogus Gun Control Bill

Eight House Republicans voted with Democrats on Wednesday to support Trojan Horse gun control legislation, The Hill reported.

The oppressive bill’s ultimate goal is to lay the groundwork for a national registry so they can easily confiscate guns.

The GOP defectors are the following representatives:
Peter King who co-authored the bill with Democrat Mike Thompson, Brian Fitzpatrick, Brian Mast, Fred Upton, Chris Smith, Vern Buchanan, Mario Diaz-Balart, Will Hurd.

They are RINOs all.

There is a good article at The Federalist which explains how bogus this bill is. As they write, it’s a de facto federal gun registry:
This Creates a De Facto Federal Gun Registry

It is currently illegal for the federal government to maintain a database of ownership of standard firearms (not including silencers, machine guns, etc.). There is a good reason for this ban on a federal gun registry: the government can only confiscate firearms if it first knows where they are all located.

The natural conclusion to this law’s enforcement would be the creation of a database tracking the lawful transfers, and therefore current possessors, of all firearms in this country.

Although a registry is not mentioned in the bill, it is a logical conclusion. After all, how could such a universal background check law ever be enforced absent a national gun registry showing who passed a background check, when, and for which particular firearms?

For law enforcement to prove that a firearm was purchased in a private transaction, they would need to know who was the most recent lawful possessor. Of course, someone with a lawfully possessed firearm could have a receipt from a gun store, but that could be lost or faked.

The natural conclusion to this law’s enforcement would be the creation of a database tracking the lawful transfers, and therefore current possessors, of all firearms in this country. It would be bad enough if the government were to maintain and use such a list, but what if hackers stole that list (just as they stole the personnel records of millions of federal employees)? Suddenly, violent criminals in search of weapons would have a perfect map showing which homes to ransack when nobody’s home.

Mass shootings and gun violence are horrible, and we should try to stop them. However, demands for more gun control only make plain the truth that gun control cannot stop violence.

Current gun control isn’t enough. The latest gun control proposal is no different. It would do nothing to end gun violence, but it would drastically increase the burdens on law-abiding citizens who only wish to...

Firearms Sellers Say They’re Being Choked Off From Payment Processors

Go to a gun show, and you won’t find many merchants using PayPal.

You’ll also find few vendors using popular payment processors such as Square, Stripe and Spark Pay.

That’s because some payment processors explicitly prohibit the use of their systems for online — and some in-store — sales of firearms, ammunition and certain accessories.

Retailers in the gun industry say they’re being discriminated against.

“Being shut out from mainstream payment processors makes us feel like we are part of some type of shady business when, in fact, there is more regulation and documentation required for federally licensed firearms dealers than most businesses,” said Trevor Blandford of Terminal Performance Associates in Caroline, Va.

Blandford, 21, has been working gun shows for his family’s business since he was 14 years old. Recently, his parents named him general manager of Terminal Performance, which is known for its custom-built pistols and rifles and originally finished wraps. He and his family sell their merchandise online and at local trade shows.

To process payments, most merchants use some sort of payment processor.

Payment processors are companies, often third-party outlets, which handle credit card transactions between merchants and banks.

The concern some firearms sellers expressed to The Daily Signal is that restricting their access to some of the largest payment processors in the country — who offer the lowest transaction fees in the business — puts them at an unfair disadvantage to other industries.

Add that to the long list of regulations firearms sellers already face, and some say it’s not even worth attempting to start a business.

"Extremely Dramatic Increase" - Ghost Gun Seizures Up 400% In Baltimore City

A homemade or improvised firearm that lacks commercial serial numbers is becoming a significant problem across Baltimore City. These weapons are commonly referred to as "Ghost Guns," are untraceable and can either be made from 80 percent lower kits or 3D-printers.

The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore City Police said a sharp increase in ghost guns in the metro area had been seen.

Baltimore Police Lt. Col. John Herzog told lawmakers this week that city police seized 126 ghost guns in 2020, up from 29 in 2019. The number of untraceable firearms seized in the city last year was more than all ghost guns seized statewide in 2019.
"That's an extremely dramatic increase," Herzog said. "We know they are becoming more popular for criminals and gun traffickers."
Maryland lawmakers introduced a bill earlier this month to regulate the ability to purchase or manufacture untraceable firearms.
"Untraceable firearms are not just guns with serial numbers crossed off," said Sen. Susan Lee (D-Montgomery), "they also include guns that have been designed to get around state laws and the federal definition of 'firearm.'"
Herzog said 21 of the ghost guns sized last year were linked to violent crime, including 15 tied to homicides or shootings.

Baltimore City has face five years of homicides over the three hundred mark, ever since the 2015 riots after Freddie Gray, a young black man, died in police custody; since then, mistrust of police among people in the community has resulted in a city that continues to descend into chaos.

Years ago, more specifically in 2014, we noted, "3D-printing, like decentralized cryptocurrencies, have the potential to change the world in which we live in extraordinary ways."

Over the years, US lawmakers have called ghost guns a threat to communities.

Now entering the Biden administration era, who has repeatedly warned they will "defeat" the National Rifle Association (NRA). In response, the NRA filed for bankruptcy last month by dumping New York to incorporate in Texas.

More specifically, Biden's website makes it clear that he will "stop ghost guns." Here's what his website says:
One way people who cannot legally obtain a gun may gain access to a weapon is by assembling a one on their own, either by buying a kit of disassembled gun parts or 3D printing a working firearm. Biden will stop the proliferation of these so-called "ghost guns" by passing legislation requiring that purchasers of gun kits or 3D printing code pass a federal background check. Additionally, Biden will ensure that the authority for firearms exports stays with the State Department, and if needed, reverse a proposed rule by President Trump. This will ensure the State Department continues to block the code used to 3D print firearms from being made available on the Internet.
Meanwhile, in anticipation of a crackdown on guns and ghost guns, Americans, for months, have been panic searching and or buying...

Australia Sees Spike in Gun Crime Despite Outright Ban

Australia has seen a rise in gun crime over the past decade despite imposing an outright ban on many firearms in the late 1990s.

Charges for crimes involving firearms have increased dramatically across the island nation’s localities in the past decade according to an analysis of government statistics conducted by The New Daily. It found that gun crimes have spiked dramatically in the Australian states of Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, and Tasmania. In Victoria, pistol-related offenses doubled over the last decade. In New South Wales, they tripled. The other states saw smaller but still significant increases.

Experts said that the country’s 1996 ban on most semi-automatic firearms has actually driven criminals to those guns. “The ban on semi-automatics created demand by criminals for other types of guns,” professor Philip Alpers of the University of Sydney told The New Daily. “The criminal’s gun of choice today is the semi-automatic pistol.”

Gun control advocates in the country insist that the problem is too little regulation. They said, while most modern firearms are illegal and all legal firearms owners must obtain licenses from the government, ammunition is not controlled tightly enough.

“There is very little regulation of ammunition purchase,” Samantha Lee, a spokesperson for Gun Control Australia, told the publication. “In most jurisdictions you can purchase ammunition because you have a firearm licence and there is no restriction on...

Indian Troops Given 'Fire At Will' Orders Against Chinese Troops If Threatened, Enraging Beijing

China's one child policy has led to an overpopulation in the Chinese male population.
India's Dowry Culture and Ultrasound technology has led to an overpopulation of the Indian malepopulation.
The two largest population's on earth and all that frustrated testosterone.

Beijing is enraged over current widespread Indian media reports that the Indian Army has been given orders to shoot or use "complete freedom of action" in hostile engagements with Chinese PLA forces along the disputed Ladakh border region.

The reports come following last week's major border incident with China that resulted in 20 Indian Army troops killed, and an undisclosed number of Chinese PLA casualties in the disputed Galwan Valley area of East Ladakh.

Chinese state-media Global Times editor Hu Xijin called out the reports, saying that if the new 'rules of engagement' are true, it's a serious violation of prior treaties implemented for deescalation.
Indian media reported that Indian army along the border with China had been given “complete freedom of action”, including using firearms in “extraordinary situations.” If true, this is a serious violation of agreement, & the Indian side will pay a heavy price for any such action.

How Gun Control Became an Instrument of Tyranny in Venezuela

Is Venezuela paying the price for adopting gun control?

The shocking nature of Venezuela’s economic collapse has been covered ad nauseam. However, one aspect of the Venezuelan crisis that does not receive much coverage is the country’s gun control regime.

Fox News recently published an excellent article highlighting Venezuelan citizens’ regret over the gun control policies the Venezuelan government has implemented since 2012. Naturally, this regret is warranted. The Venezuelan government is among the most tyrannical in the world, with a proven track record of violating basic civil liberties such as free speech, debasing its national currency, confiscating private property, and creating economic controls that destroy the country’s productivity.

Elections have proven to be useless, as they’ve been mired with corruption and charges of government tampering. For many, taking up arms is the only option left for the country to shake off its tyrannical government. However, the Venezuelan government has done well to prevent an uprising by passing draconian gun control which will be detailed below.

Venezuela’s Lack of a Second Amendment Tradition

Historically speaking, Venezuela has never had a robust history of private gun ownership like that of the United States. The absence of a Second Amendment or check on the federal government’s monopoly on firearm usage is a vestige of its colonial legacy. Its Spanish colonial overlords did not possess a political culture of civilian firearms ownership. It was mostly the military and the landed nobility that held firearms throughout the colonial era. This tradition has persisted even after Latin American countries broke away from Spain in the 1820s.

Fast forward to the 20th century, Venezuela began its first attempts to modernize its gun policy. In 1939, the Venezuelan government enacted the Law on Arms and Explosives (Ley de Armas y Explosivos) which established the Venezuelan state’s monopoly on firearm usage. The state was the only entity that could possess “weapons of war” which include: canons, rifles, mortars, machine guns, sub-machine guns, carbines, pistols, and revolvers. Civilians could only possess .22 rifles and shotguns, and in certain circumstances could possess handguns provided that they obtained a license.

Progressive Ideas Role in Consolidating Venezuelan Statism

Ideas matter.

It’s no surprise that Venezuela embarked on this gun control escapade during the late 1930s. This was a period where statism was in vogue throughout the world as witnessed with the rise of Fascism and Communism in Europe. Even during the New Deal era, the US initiated its first foray into federal gun control with the passage of the National Firearms Act (NFA) of 1934. Despite its anti-gun policies, Venezuela at least maintained some semblance of limited government in economic affairs up until the 1970s.

However, the nationalization of its oil industry in the 1970s and the subsequent economic downturns of the 1980s and 1990s shook up Venezuela’s institutional foundations. The country was then ripe for a demagogic takeover.

Hugo Chavez’s Anti-Gun Agenda

When socialist strongman Hugo Chávez took power, not only was Venezuela’s previous gun control order kept intact, but it was also expanded upon. Article 324 of Venezuela’s current Constitution (the 26th in its history) maintained the State’s previous monopoly on firearms and placed the...

What You Need To Know About The 1994 Assault Weapons Ban To PREVENT Another One

Here we go again. Another assault weapons ban rears its knee-jerk head. The Assault Weapons Ban of 2018 is the feel-good, we-have-to-do-somethingmove. I’m all for it if it will make a positive difference. But it won’t. We already know that it won’t because of the 1994 assault weapons ban.

Remember how excited your mother was in 1994? “Honey,” she said, “finally we’re doing something about crime.” She did have a point since crime had been rising steadily through the eighties and early nineties. The ban seemed like a good idea at the time, and darn it if FBI crime statistics didn’t prove her right. (You hate it when that happens.) From 1994 to 2004, the violent crime rate dropped 35 percent.

When the Department of Justice released statistics about firearms homicides specifically, your mother was even more sure of herself. In 1993, the year before the ban took effect, there were 18,253 firearm homicides. The ban took effect, and the number of firearm homicides dropped every year for the next seven years. They began to rise again in 2001, but in 2004, there were 11,624 firearm homicides, an overall reduction of 36 percent.

“See?” your mother crowed, “Told ya!” (*sigh*)

Then you got to thinking. There was that statistics course you took in college, and something is niggling in the back of your mind. Hey, you realized, those numbers don’t mean much unless you know how many guns were on the street while all of this was happening. A crude measure of gun sales is criminal background checks, and the FBI began collecting data in 1998, four years into the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. You can’t study the entire ban period, but you can study the last six years. And then you can study the first six years after the ban.

For the six years from 1999 to 2004 when the ban was lifted, 52,214,932 background checks were conducted. For the first six years after the ban was lifted (2005 to 2010), 71,319,676 background checks were conducted. If each background check represents one gun, 19 million more guns were purchased in the six years after the ban than during the last six years of the ban. This makes intuitive sense: when guns are banned, fewer guns are sold; when the ban is lifted more guns are sold. But is it the number of guns we care about or what people are doing with those guns?

You compare the data on background checks — your reference point for gun sales — to the FBI’s data on what people were doing with those guns for 1997 to 2001, 2002 to 2006, and 2007 to 2011. While you’re at it, you look at what the FBI says people were doing with rifles specifically since there were a principal target of the ban.

The FBI says that during the last six years of the ban, firearms were used to kill 54,468 people, 2,483 of whom were killed with a rifle. During the first six years after the ban — with 19 million more guns on the street — the FBI says firearms were used to kill 58,065 people, 2,432 of whom were killed with a rifle.

What? More people were killed with a rifle during the ban than after the ban? Could it be the assault ban made no difference to homicide by rifle? Why, yes, yes it could. And with 19 million more guns on the street after the ban, there were only 3,597 additional firearms homicides? Could it be that limiting guns had very little impact on...

Gun Company Calls For Industry Boycott of Neeson After Star’s Anti-Gun Comments

Irish movie star Liam Neeson has made a movie career out of killing people with guns, including his most recent film, the third movie in the Taken series.

Unfortunately, Neeson is also a raging hypocrite, and though he’s happy to appear in violent films in which he shoots one bad guy after another, he’s made it abundantly clear that he thinks that Americans shouldn’t have the right to bear the arms that have made him rich and famous:

Actor Liam Neeson is thrilled to rake in millions of dollars acting in violent films where vigilantism is at the core of the plot, but he doesn’t think that the American citizens who watch his movies should have a right to own guns.

Liam Neeson might be brandishing a gun on posters for Taken 3 all around town, but in light of the recent Charlie Hebdo attacks in France, and ongoing protests against police brutality in America, the actor told tabloid! he’s still firmly in favour of gun control.

“First off, my thoughts and prayers and my heart are with the deceased, and certainly with all of France, yesterday. I’ve got a lot of dear friends in Paris,” the 62-year-old said.

“There’s too many [expletive] guns out there,” he continued. “Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a [expletive] disgrace. Every week now we’re picking up a newspaper and seeing, ‘Yet another few kids have been killed in schools.’”

The U.S. subsidiary of Para-Ordnance, Para USA, had provided firearms for Neeson’s latest film and is coming out strongly against the star’s hypocrisy, and is calling for an industry-wide boycott against him:

PARA USA regrets its decision to provide firearms for use in the film “Taken 3″. While the film itself is entertaining, comments made by its Irish-born star during press junkets reflect a cultural and factual ignorance that undermines support of the Second Amendment and American liberties. We will no longer provide firearms for use in films starring Liam Neeson and ask that our friends and partners in Hollywood refrain from associating our brand and products with his projects. Further, we encourage our partners and friends in the firearms industry to do the same.

There is an old maxim about not defecating in the same location where you take your repast that Neeson apparently forgot, and it will be interesting to see how ...

Joe Biden’s Tax Agenda Could Cost Gun Owners $34 Billion

Joe Biden’s gun tax proposals could cost gun owners upwards of $34 billion for guns and magazines they already possess.

Breitbart News reported that Biden’s proposals include a $200 tax for each AR-15 that is already owned, and that tax would also apply to other firearms Democrats label “assault weapons.”

Biden also wants to tax gun owners $200 for every “high capacity” magazine they own.

On November 17, 2020, Breitbart News reported National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) numbers showing that Americans own an estimated 434 million firearms. Nearly 20 million of those firearms are Modern Sporting Rifles, firearms that the Democrats categorizes as “assault weapons.”

Under Biden’s plan, the tax for the nearly 20 million Modern Sporting Rifles alone could be $4 billion.

The NSSF numbers also show that Americans own more than 71 million pistol magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds and “79.2 million rifle magazines capable of holding 30 or more rounds.”

Taking that as a rounded figure of 150 million magazines, the tax on those could be...

Law Enforcement Sources: Gun Used in Paris Terrorist Attacks Came from Fast And Furious Program..

One of the guns used in the November 13, 2015 Paris terrorist attacks came from Phoenix, Arizona where the Obama administration allowed criminals to buy thousands of weapons illegally in a deadly and futile “gun-walking” operation known as “Fast and Furious.”

A Report of Investigation (ROI) filed by a case agent in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) tracked the gun used in the Paris attacks to a Phoenix gun owner who sold it illegally, “off book,” Judicial Watch’s law enforcement sources confirm. Federal agents tracing the firearm also found the Phoenix gun owner to be in possession of an unregistered fully automatic weapon, according to law enforcement officials with firsthand knowledge of the investigation.

The investigative follow up of the Paris weapon consisted of tracking a paper trail using a 4473 form, which documents a gun’s ownership history by, among other things, using serial numbers. The Phoenix gun owner that the weapon was traced back to was found to have at least two federal firearms violations—for selling one weapon illegally and possessing an unregistered automatic—but no enforcement or prosecutorial action was taken against the individual. Instead, ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the radar and ensure that the gun owner’s identity was “kept quiet,” according to law enforcement sources involved with the case. “Agents were told, in the process of taking the fully auto, not to anger the seller to prevent him from going public,” a veteran law enforcement official told Judicial Watch.

It’s not clear if the agency, which is responsible for cracking down on the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, did this because the individual was involved in the Fast and Furious gun-running scheme. An ATF spokesman, Corey Ray, at the agency’s Washington D.C. headquarters told Judicial Watch that “no firearms used in the Paris attacks have been traced” by the agency.

When asked about the ROI report linking the weapon used in Paris to Phoenix, Ray said “I’m not familiar with the report you’re referencing.” Judicial Watch also tried contacting the Phoenix ATF office, but multiple calls were not returned.

The ATF ran the Fast and Furious experiment and actually allowed criminals, “straw purchasers,” working for Mexican drug cartels to buy weapons at...

Wednesday, June 9, 2021

The Biden administration is proposing a revision to current federal gun regulations that would create a dangerous scenario for many firearm owners.

The proposed rule from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives would make the majority of firearms with stabilizing pistol braces illegal, The Reload reported.

“Owners would have to register, turn in, or disassemble the guns to avoid federal felony charges,” according to The Reload.

Stabilizing brace inventor Alex Bosco called it “the largest gun registration, destruction, and confiscation scheme in American history.”

The braces make it easier to use firearms with increased accuracy and with one hand.

They have been allowed in the U.S. since 2012, but have come under scrutiny due to their use in mass shootings. One was used in the Boulder, Colorado, supermarket shooting in March, which resulted in 10 deaths.

The ATF only lists two crimes committed with the braces.

“While there are no available statistics to gauge authoritatively the number of stabilizing braces already made and sold in the United States, unofficial estimates suggest that there are between 10 and 40 million stabilizing braces and similar components already in civilian hands,” a Congressional Research Service report from April said.

“Altering the classification of firearms equipped with stabilizing braces would likely affect millions of owners,” it added.

The proposal aligns with the White House’s previously outlined goals for...

NY Psychiatrists Served With Subpoenas For Patient Records In NY Gun Confiscation

It Begins.

NY Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Machiavellian Plot to ignore and subvert the Rights of potentially millions of NY State residents developed another layer late Sunday.

After breaking the story of Amhurst NY Area Resident David Lewis having his lawfully purchase and legally owned firearms confiscated by order of the State Police after a flagrantly illegal and Un-Constitutional review of his medical records , Word came to me in my capacity as in journalist late Sunday that NY Officials have apparently doubled down on their sinister plot and blatant abuse of power.
My sources revealed that two prominent and well regarded Buffalo Area Psychiatrists received subpoenas from State Officials, possibly on Friday April 12th 2013, commanding them to turn over all of their patient files to the State. Details are sketchy at this early stage, but I have been told that both Doctors have in house counsel as well as potentially consulting with the Law Firm of Jim Tresmond, Firearms Law Specialist and the Attorney of Record for Mr Lewis.
What is clear is that those subpoenas would have to have been issued by someone in the State’s Attorney’s Office. What remains unknown at this point is whether the order or request for the subpoenas originated with the Superintendent of the NY State Police, Joseph D’Amico or from the Office of the the Commissioner of the NY State Division of Criminal Justice Services or one of his lieutenants.
If it’s accurate that the subpoenas in question were received by their targets on Friday April 12th 2013.  That would be the same day that WBEN Talk Radio Show host Tom Baurele told listeners that multiple independent sources within NY State Government related to him that a secret seven member”HIPAA” committee had been created within the Div Of Criminal Justice Services after passage of the NY SAFE Act to work in conjunction with the NY State Police at the behest of the Dept of Homeland Security; for the express purpose of illegally obtaining and accessing the private medical records of potentially millions of NY State Residents. Then comparing those records with the records of known firearms owners and pistol permit holders in order to facilitate the confiscation of firearms under the extraordinarily broad language in the law regarding those that have been deemed “mentally unstable“.
Something that thus far NY State Police have denied, choosing to blame the County Clerk, Chris Jacobs in the Lewis incident which was discussed at length on the Megyn Kelly show, also on Friday the 12th of April.
Interestingly, the “mission statement” found on the website for the NY Div Of Criminal Justice Services contains language that could plausibly be used as “cover” for their involvement in this on going scheme.
“The Division of Criminal Justice Services is a multi-function criminal justice support agency with a variety of responsibilities, including collection and analysis of statewide crime data; operation of the DNA databank and criminal fingerprint files; administration of federal and state criminal justice funds; support of criminal justice-related agencies across the state; and administration of the state’s Sex Offender Registry that allows anyone to research the status of an offender.
Our mission – the very reason we exist – is to make New York State a safer place to live, raise our families and run our businesses.”
At DCJS, our core agency functions include criminal history checks, fingerprint operations, coordination of grant funds, providing timely information, public safety, law enforcement training, breathalyzer and speed enforcement equipment repair, accreditation of police departments and forensic laboratories, Uniform Crime Reporting, research, hosting criminal justice boards and commissions, providing information to criminal justice agencies and institutions, and hosting other criminal justice agencies. Much of our contact with the public involves the Sex Offender Registry, where anyone can check for the presence of high and medium risk sex offenders in their neighborhood (information on Level 1 or low level offenders can be obtained by calling 518-457-5837 or 1-800-262-3257 if you have a name you would like to check. You will need the individual’s name and another identifying fact, such as date of birth). We also support Operation IMPACT, an initiative where we provide special assistance to the 17 counties upstate and on Long Island that account for nearly 80 percent of the crime outside of New York City.
This much is clear given the known facts, as well as the current and ongoing allegations and leaks. NY State is being “led” by a vociferously Anti Gun Governor that has a demonstrated history and extensive habitual evidence of his willingness to impose his will and personal opinion on the Citizens he claims to serve. This situation calls for the urgent appointment of a Special Prosecutor to investigate these egregious violations of both State and Federal Law, as well as the clear Civil Rights violations and violations of the targeted Citizens individual 2nd, 4th and 5th Amendment Rights.
Those responsible for this unprecedented subversion of the rule of law and innocent Americans Rights must be held to account for their actions. If not, any flicker of hope for the concept of “all are equal under the law” will be snuffed out under the boot of the awesome power of the State against its Citizens.

Swiss vote for EU gun control laws

Switzerland has capitulated to EU gun control in a referendum that demonstrates the EU’s globalist grasp on the continent.

Brussels has coaxed Switzerland into accepting a top-down scheme on carrying weapons. On May 19, 2019, Swiss voters approved a new set of gun restrictions to put Switzerland’s gun control laws in line with European Union standards.

Under this new law, military-style, semi-automatic weapons will be heavily restricted as well as gun registrations. Participants in shooting sports however, will still be able to nominally exercise their right to own arms.

The international gun community expressed concern after the Swiss vote in favor of such regulations, passed with a margin of 64-36 percent,.

Switzerland is generally viewed as a pro-gun country similar to the United States, and has often been cited as an international example for the feasibility of civilian firearms ownership. Those who argue for the right to self-defense, have criticised the new measures.

According to a Von Mises Institute contributor Claudio Grass and an officer in the Swiss militia, Dimitrios Papadopoulos, some 80 percent of gun owners in Switzerland use semi-automatic weapons, which are effectively now prohibited under the new directive.

The only way people can acquire the newly prohibited weapons is through an exemption where the prospective gun owner declares himself to be a sports marksman – someone having used the weapon at least five times within a five-year timespan.

This exception may soon disappear since the EU has announced further restrictions. The Swiss will have no option but to adopt these, too, according to the Schengen treaty.

Switzerland has a militia tradition dating back to the Middle Ages, and because Swiss cantons did not have nobility structures, defense and security were provided by ordinary citizens themselves. Swiss military service is also inextricably tied to marksmanship, with servicemen having to go to the shooting range at least once a year.

Military servicemen receive a SIG550 assault rifle or a SIG P220 pistol and are required to keep their firearms at home as long as they are enlisted. After serving, veterans can keep these weapons, although the automatic and burst-fire functions of the SIG550 must be disabled.

But under the new EU Directive, the SIG550 and SIG510 have been reclassified as “prohibited” weapons even though the Swiss government issues about 20 000 of these weapons to recruits every year.

Cantons handle all permits, as there is no centralized bureaucracy for guns in Switzerland., even though the firearms law is federal.

Authorities are obliged to grant a permit unless the person applying has a criminal record, mental health issues, or deemed to be dangerous. Once obtained, the firearm cannot be confiscated except for extreme circumstances.

Semi-automatic firearms will now fall under the same category as machine guns and fully automatic weapons which require an Ausnahmebewilligung or exception permit.

Both Grass and Papadopoulos highlight that the EU directive could lead to potential gun control by the EU.

“What is particularly scary is that the whole argument for the new law was not really about saving lives or reducing gun violence, but rather focused on Brussels ordering Switzerland to...
