A Target Rich Environment: Naming Some Of The Despicable Aspects of the Left...

We're in a war for the soul - and for the life of every human being on earth.

Books—many of them—have been written by people far smarter than I about the worst aspects of modern Leftism. So, in this article, I can only barely touch on a few of the depravities that irk me the most and are extremely damaging to all of mankind. Remember, this list could be extended almost indefinitely.

1. The Left judges previous generations by their current moral vision. As a historian, I find this to be particularly repulsive. I believe there do exist moral absolutes by which people of all generations can be assessed; some things are wrong, always have been wrong everywhere, and always will be wrong. But culture, tradition, and societal immaturity dictate behavior, too. History has shown what works and what doesn’t. But that isn’t the Left’s standard. Their moral values alter, repeatedly and constantly, and everybody alive today or dead for 1,000 years is judged by those subjective, constantly shifting criteria.

The Left is changing history and re-writing it to fit their norms simply because thousands of years of experience, wisdom, tradition, and truth disprove everything they hold dear. “Christopher Columbus was a mass murderer!” There is no attempt to understand the culture, history, and background of Renaissance Europe. He is just damned. Period. And this mindset justifies the Left’s total rejection of freedom and Western Civilization, to bring in socialism and godless totalitarianism. But that’s the point of all of it anyway. Destroy Western values to introduce those the Left wants to, subjectively, replace them with.

2. They judge people by the color of their skin rather than the content of their character. They scream “racism” to high heaven at every imagined affront, but it is they who believe that black people, for example, cannot succeed unless borne along by the Left’s ideology. Put 50 brown illegals in Martha’s Vineyard, and they’ve got to go—NOW! They can stay in Florida and “pick crops.” The Left does nothing about the horrible black-on-black violence except incessantly crying “racism” when somebody points to it, simply because they believe that only they can help an inferior race anyway. Inferior to the liberals, at least. Blacks need affirmative action because of intrinsic societal “racism” and “white supremacy”. Black people can’t make it without the liberals’ carrying them along. If I were black, I would be insulted to the nth degree by this philosophy. It is also a lie, as millions of successful non-affirmative action blacks in the country and world have proven.

3. They deny true human nature, believing only in a naturalistic, materialistic universe without spirit. This is crucial, and I will elucidate further in a future article. But, because they are materialists in presupposition, they must logically deny free will. Molecules in motion have no will. Humans, because they thus have no true freedom of will, can be “programmed” to behave in certain pre-planned and “beneficial” ways. Hence, liberals are socialists, which denies human economic freedom. Without the Left’s guidance and central planning, the wasteful market economy would only produce chaos and destruction. “Capitalism” (economic freedom) is a great evil because no one can control a person who acts of their own volition. The materialistic, naturalistic aspect of today’s Left underpins everything they believe and is the major source of all their errors and failures. People are NOT automatons, and by treating them so, by thinking they (liberals) have the intelligence and wisdom to direct all of the human affairs, we end up with totalitarian governments and mass murderers. If you reject their control and disagree with them too strenuously, don’t be surprised if the FBI, KGB, CCP, or Gestapo show up at your front door. Without a warrant. Why do they need one of those? Their verbal fiat alone is sufficient to establish truth and law.

You are a robot. Obey your programmer.

4. As a consequence, especially of point 3 above, liberals believe the government (controlled by them, of course) can solve nearly every human and world conundrum. Including fixing the weather. This is hubris of unimaginable dimensions. They believe they have evolved to a higher stage of human development (Trotsky said they would), and everybody, but them, is wrong. And if you disagree with them, you’re not only in error, you are evil (as they define it, though “evil” cannot objectively exist without free will), and you are a deplorable, despicable sub-human, condemned by their perfect moral standard, which is ever-evolving, but never arriving. But, even as it is changing, it can be used to justify any barbarity they wish to commit and condemn everyone who has ever lived, even people in...

Charlie Hebdo Repost From: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2012

Why Freedom of Speech in the USA will be determined by the status of a French Cartoon.

First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. Their decision to publish the Islamic Prophet Mohammed was a profile in courage, an act of bravery and integrity.

So, why is it so important that it was published and should be allowed to be published in the USA and the world? In the US, we have freedom of speech, even if that speech offends or is even considered hate speech. While we cannot yell "fire!" in a movie theater, anything short of this is legal and free. If an intolerant group are allowed to determine what we say by simply becoming violent then we have no free speech. The intolerent group can then effectively legislate what we are allowed to say, for instance: If I said, "I think that the practice of forced female circumcism is a violation of human rights" and a particular group stormed a US embassy in say, an Islamic country, because they believed that this showed hatred towards their religion and expressing that belief then became illegal, groups everywhere would learn that all they had to do to suppress free speech would be to become violent.

One of the founders of our great nation, George Washington once said: "If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter." And here is my quote: "When you allow others to determine the definition of evil; hear no evil, speak no evil, have no freedom of speech".

Elements of the Islamic world are calling for the banning of this cartoon and the unfinished poorly done video "The innocence of Muslims", however we may or may not dislike them, we must protect them as if our lives depended upon it.

I call on free newspapers throughout the world to print images of the so called "Prophet" every day until we have 1 day without Muslim violence.

Ottawa Declares State of Emergency; Reports of Police Arresting Truckers, Seizing Fuel

The mayor of Ottawa, Jim Watson, has now declared a state of emergency in the Canadian capital over the Freedom Convoy trucker protest that has been occupying the city.

Watson declared the protest a “serious danger and threat” in a formal statement.

“Declaring a state of emergency reflects the serious danger and threat to the safety and security of residents posed by the ongoing demonstrations and highlights the need for support from other jurisdictions and levels of government,” the city said in a statement.

The statement went on to explain that the emergency declaration offers the city greater flexibility “to manage business continuity for essential services for its residents and enables a more flexible procurement process, which could help purchase equipment required by frontline workers and first responders.”
This is apparently what they’re afraid of.

This is beautiful:

Unlike the BLM or Occupy, there are no rape tents; there’s no burning and smashing of property. So naturally, the government supports BLM, but they don’t support this. Justin Trudeau knelt with the BLM; he falsely calls these people racists.

It’s been so inspiring, it’s spread to other cities like Toronto as well, where you have similar scenes of people coming out.

In these protests, you can see something that has been missing from the world for a while with the oppression of the government over the pandemic — that’s joy and celebration. People celebrating and championing freedom, the way all the world wants to. It’s this that has been so little valued by those in power the last couple of years. It’s this that they have so abused for their own power and purposes.

But the government is now trying to drop the hammer on the joy. The Ottawa Police announced that anyone providing “material supports” to the protesters, such as “gas, etc.,” could be subject to...

What Is Life Really Like in North Korea? One Woman’s Story

As the left strives for a utopian leftist existence, they do not need to look far for an example.

As a child growing up in North Korea, Hyeonseo Lee believed that her country was the best on the planet.

She believed that Americans were evil, South Koreans were starving to death and North Koreans were better off than everybody else. Every North Korean believes this.

She discusses this at length in her new novel, “The Girl With Seven Names: A North Korean Defector’s Story,” and spoke with The Daily Signal about her experiences as well.

As Lee explains, propagandized since birth, the people of North Korea know nothing of what life is like outside their own borders. The brutal dictatorships of Kim Jong-un and his predecessors Kim Jong-il and Kim Il-sung have socially engineered a system void of any freedoms whatsoever, and have positioned themselves as the sole source of information in the country.

“Three generations of Kim regime leadership brutally repressed the people, to the point where the North Korean people don’t even realize that there is something beyond North Korea,” said Olivia Enos, research associate in the Asian Studies Center at the Heritage Foundation. “And it’s not getting better.”

There is a complete lack of freedom of thought and belief in the North Korea Lee grew up in: no freedom of the press, no freedom of movement and no freedom of speech. Nights are pitch-black due to power outages or lack of electricity, neighbors and friends are encouraged to spy on one another and becoming pregnant by a Chinese man is punishable by death.

Life gets infinitely worse for anyone who speaks out against the regime in...

Making America Great Again:

`Cause I live and breathe this Philadelphia freedom
From the day that I was born I've waved the flag
Philadelphia freedom took me knee-high to a man
Yeah gave me peace of mind my daddy never had

Oh Philadelphia freedom shine on me, I love you
Shine a light through the eyes of the ones left behind
Shine a light shine a light
Shine a light won't you shine a light

Philadelphia freedom I love you, yes I do

US Has Sent a Net $309 Billion to Communist China This Year

Two weeks after he was inaugurated, President Joe Biden traveled over to the State Department to deliver a speech about his foreign policy.

One point he repeatedly stressed in that speech: He was not going to let the People’s Republic of China take advantage of the United States.

“American leadership must meet this new moment of advancing authoritarianism, including the growing ambitions of China to rival the United States,” Biden said at the beginning of his speech.

“We must start with diplomacy rooted in America’s most cherished democratic values: defending freedom, championing opportunity, upholding universal rights, respecting the rule of law, and treating every person with dignity,” Biden said.

“And we’ll also take on directly the challenges posed by our prosperity, security, and democratic values by our most serious competitor, China,” Biden declared.

“We’ll confront China’s economic abuses; counter its aggressive, coercive action; to push back on China’s attack on human rights, intellectual property, and global governance,” he said.

Then, Biden specifically focused on the well-being of the American working class—including how it related to U.S. relations with China.

“Every action we take in our conduct abroad, we must take with American working families in mind,” said Biden. “Advancing a foreign policy for the middle class demands urgent focus on our domestic … economic renewal.”

“If we invest in ourselves and our people,” Biden said, “if we fight to ensure that American businesses are positioned to compete and win on the global stage, if the rules of international trade aren’t stacked against us, if our workers and intellectual property are protected, then there’s no country on Earth—not China or any other country on Earth—that can match us.”

So, how has Biden done in his strategic aims to “push back on China’s attack on human rights” and keep “American working families in mind” in every action America takes abroad?

The State Department’s 2021 report on human rights in China, as this column has noted before, described the Chinese regime’s systematic attacks on the human rights of the Chinese people.

“Genocide and crimes against humanity occurred during the year against predominantly Muslim Uyghurs and members of other ethnic and religious minority groups in Xinjian,” said the State Department. “These crimes were continuing and included: the arbitrary imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty of more than one million civilians; forced sterilization, coerced abortions, and more restrictive application of the country’s birth control policies; rape; torture of a large number of those arbitrarily detained; forced labor; and draconian restrictions on freedom of religion or belief, freedom of expression, and freedom of movement.”

“Government officials and the security services often committed human rights abuses with impunity,” the report concluded.

While China continued to inflict these abuses on its own people, it also continued to run up a massive trade deficit with the United States.

In 2021, according to the Census Bureau, the United States exported only $151.442 billion in products to the People’s Republic while it was importing $504.935 billion. As a result, the United States ran a one-year bilateral trade deficit with the People’s Republic of $353.493 billion.

So far in 2022, the Census Bureau has published the international trade numbers for the nine months from January through September.

But things have not gotten better in U.S.-China trade relations. They have gotten worse.

In the first nine months of 2021 (when the U.S. was on its way to that 12-month deficit of $353.493 billion), the U.S. ran a trade deficit of $253.507 billion with China.

In the first nine months of this year, the U.S. has run a $309.230 billion trade deficit with China. That is up $55.723 billion—or about 22%—from the first nine months of last year.

This week, while attending the G-20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, Biden met with Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party.

A report in The New York Times suggested that the Chinese government was happy with the outcome of the Biden-Xi meeting. Its headline said: “After the Biden-Xi meeting, Beijing signals optimism over relations with Washington.”

“An upbeat photo in China’s main newspaper and comments by the foreign minister suggested that Beijing believes...

Why do Democrats continue to love countries that destroy freedom of speech and freedom?
Because they don't believe in freedom of speech and freedom when they are in control.

AP 'Explains' How France 'Incites' Islamic Terrorism with 'Brutal' Colonialism, Secularism

On Thursday, an Islamist killed three people, nearly decapitating one at the Basilica of Notre Dame in Nice, France, while yelling "Allahu Akbar!" Two weeks ago, a teacher was nearly beheaded after he showed controversial cartoons of the prophet Muhammad in his class. The Associated Press decided this was a time to ask why France was causing this! Their original "AP Explains" article was headlined “Why does France incite anger in the Muslim world?" Yes, "incite." Then they softened it to "Why France sparks so much anger in the Muslim world."

AP's Halloween tweet with the "incite" phrasing was deleted:

AP correspondent Angela Charlton's scolding tone remained:
Many countries, especially in the democratic West, champion freedom of expression and allow publications that lampoon Islam’s prophet. So why is France singled out for protests and calls for boycotts across the Muslim world, and so often the target of deadly violence from the extremist margins?

Its brutal colonial past, staunch secular policies and tough-talking president who is seen as insensitive toward the Muslim faith all play a role.
AP tried another tweet, though, to play down the "France incites" tone...even if it still carries the curious tone of "freedom of expression is dangerous."

AP blamed French imperialism, and not immigration. That would sound too Trumpy.

France has the largest population of Muslims in Western Europe, more than 5 million in a nation of 67 million, a legacy of its colonial domination of large swaths of Africa and the Middle East.

But the country’s efforts to integrate Muslim immigrants have faltered. The official French doctrine of colorblindness is intended to ignore ethnic and religious backgrounds and to have all French citizens seen as equally French. In reality, the ideal often fuels discrimination against those who look, dress or pray differently from the historically Catholic majority, instead of preventing it.
"Historically Catholic" is kinda funny, since Charlton acknowledges that France established secularism in 1905, and "Crucifixes were at one point torn from classroom walls in France amid painful public debate."

A century later, polls suggest France is among the least-religious countries in the world, with a minority attending services regularly. Secularism is broadly supported by those on both left and right.
As the number of Muslim in France grew, the state imposed secular rules on their practices. A 2004 banning Muslim headscarves and other ostentatious religious symbols in schools remains divisive, if not shocking to many outside France. A 2011 law banning face veils made Muslims feel stigmatized anew.

AP blamed French president Emmanuel Macron for being too bold in opposing violent extremists. Notice how Muslim radicals are merely "seen as" undermining religious freedom. Charlton even cited Turkey's president Erdogan, who has squashed religious freedom for the Christians in...

Univision Finally Drops Out of Puerto Rican Day Parade Honoring Marxist-Leninist Terrorist

A convicted terrorist and a leader of a murderous band of communists is being honored in New York City’s Puerto Rican Day parade. When communists Mayor Bill de Blasio and City Council woman Melissa Mark-Viverito march to promote the FALN terrorist Oscar LΓ³pez Rivera who will receive a “National Freedom Hero” award, Univision won’t be there!

The leftist organizers see him as a freedom fighter. That’s how ISIS sees themselves and that’s why the Palestinian Authority pays terrorists to kill Israelis – they claim they’re actually freedom fighters.

“Lopez Rivera’s ideologies on the independence of Puerto Rico do not represent all Puerto Ricans,” the organizers said this month in a statement. “Nevertheless, his figure brought together Puerto Ricans of all ideologies, as well as global human rights organizations and leaders, including Pope Francis, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, President Clinton and President Carter, among many others, to seek clemency in unison. Some people call him a terrorist while others think of him as a freedom fighter, as was the case with Nelson Mandela.”

He’s like the Pope!

They’ve been losing some major sponsors as we’ve reported and they can add a few more including the far-left New York Daily News.

Lopez was a strong voice and ardent member of the Fuerzas Armadas de LiberaciΓ³n Nacional (FALN), a Marxist-Leninist paramilitary group that used violence in...

'Your Freedom of Press Is Not Freedom to Lie': MTG Puts HuffPost in Its Place for Deceptive Article

After HuffPost published an incendiary, misleading headline that claimed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was encouraging her supporters to shoot Democrats, the controversial Georgia Republican had nine words for the publication: “Your freedom of press is not freedom to lie.”

The article — which remains up, albeit with a slightly altered headline — dealt with a viral campaign video Greene posted to social media.

The ad, posted Tuesday, dealt with two major destructive forces: Democratic policies and feral hogs eating up crops.

“We’ve got skyrocketing inflation, high diesel fuel [prices] and Democrats’ America-last policies,” Greene said, standing in front of a helicopter.

However, she noted those policies weren’t the only things affecting beleaguered farmers. Feral hogs have also been a major issue, tearing up fields in many parts of America.

Voters can only solve one of those problems at the ballot box. However, with feral hogs, you can hunt them, often from helicopters. That’s exactly what Greene was doing in the video, meant to advertise a contest to win a hog-hunting trip with Greene.

“Let’s help American farmers out,” Greene said at the conclusion of the video.

Now, you’ll notice at no point does Greene directly conflate Democrats with feral hogs. She didn’t go out there and say, “Let’s do to these hogs what we should do to Democrats!”

In fact, the ad assiduously avoids any comparison that might imply the two are in any way similar — and for good reason, because you can see publications like HuffPost writing a headline like, “Marjorie Taylor Greene Likens Dems To Hogs, Wants Help Shooting Them Dead.”

Except the liberal outlet went ahead and...

In UN Address, Trump Makes International Call: ‘End Religious Persecution’

President Donald Trump, speaking Monday at the United Nations in New York, announced an initiative to protect religious liberty, saying the administration would spend $25 million in related efforts internationally.

Trump made the announcement in remarks at a U.N. event called the Global Call to Protect Religious Freedom, noting that business leaders are involved in the new effort to end religious persecution.

“The religious freedom enjoyed by American citizens is rare in the world. Approximately 80% of the world’s population live in countries where religious liberty is threatened, restricted, or even banned,” Trump said.

“When I heard that number, I said, ‘Please go back and check it, because it can’t possibly be correct.’ Sadly, it was. Eighty percent.”

According to the Pew Research Center, more than 80% of the world’s population faces serious restrictions on religious expression.

The president said:

As we speak, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Yazidis, and many other people of faith are being jailed, sanctioned, tortured, and even murdered, often at the hands of their own government, simply for expressing their deeply held religious beliefs. So hard to believe.

Today, with one clear voice, the United States of America calls upon the nations of the world to end religious persecution.

Trump’s words prompted applause.

The president cited attacks on synagogues in Pittsburgh and San Diego, an Easter terrorist attack on Christian churches in Sri Lanka, and a mass shooting at a mosque in New Zealand as examples of global religious persecution.

Trump noted his administration’s State Department initiated the International Religious Freedom Alliance, a coalition of nations devoted to confronting religious persecution around the world, and established a special envoy to monitor and combat anti-Semitism.

“To stop the crimes against people of faith, release prisoners of conscience, repeal laws restricting freedom of religion and belief, protect the vulnerable, defenseless, and the oppressed,” Trump added, “… we are also asking every nation to increase the prosecution and punishment of crimes against religious communities. There can be no greater crime than that.”

Trump said part of the initiative is the protection of religious sites and relics.

The Trump administration will dedicate an additional $25 million to protect such sites and relics, including historic houses of worship, the president said.

The Islamic State terrorist group destroyed numerous historic religious sites in Iraq and Syria, including monasteries and mosques.

The president also announced a partnership with the U.S. business community to defend religious liberty.

“This initiative will encourage the private sector to protect people of all faiths in the workplace. The private sector has brilliant leadership. That’s why some of the people in this room are among the most...

US Army Guerrilla Warfare Exercise to Target “Freedom Fighters”

Troops to battle against fictional ‘Pineland resistance movement’.

The US Army is set to conduct a “guerrilla warfare exercise” later this month in North Carolina where troops will battle against “freedom fighters.”

Yes, really.

The two week “unconventional warfare exercise” will take from from Jan. 22-Feb. 4 on privately owned land in a remote location which remains unknown.

“Called Robin Sage, the exercise serves as a final test for Special Forces Qualification Course training and it places candidates in a politically unstable country known as Pineland,” reports the Charlotte Observer.

“These military members act as realistic opposing forces and guerrilla freedom fighters, also known as Pineland resistance movement,” said the the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center.

Information about the exercise was provided to the media in a bid to avoid civilians confusing the drills with actual terrorist attacks or warfare, which has happened before.

“It will be realistic enough to include the sounds of gunfire (blanks) and flares,” said the center.

As Chris Menahan notes, a similar Robin Sage exercise in 2019 showed resistance fighters displaying a flag that says “liberty.”

“They could tell these soldiers they’re battling the Chinese, Russians, Iranians, North Koreans or other foreign enemies but instead they have them training to kill “freedom fighters” with “Liberty” flags,” writes Menahan.

The exercise will do little to dampen concerns that the Biden administration is launching a de facto ‘domestic war on terror’ targeting patriots and Trump supporters.

Following the January 6 Capitol riot, Democrats ludicrously compared the events to...

Free Speech is Under Full Assault

Increasingly, we see people holding unpopular views being attacked and refused a forum in which to speak. Through the threat of force and censorship to control people's speech, free speech is under full assault. History is replete with others using similar tactics. As in the times before the Nazi rise to power, the Soviet gulag era, and Mao's revolution, similar trends are prevalent today.

Freedom of speech is engaging in unrestricted speaking of one's mind without fear of retaliation or censorship. It is the freedom to use one's natural rights to engage in complex thought and speech. This is not a new concept. Freedom of speech has a history centuries old, long predating the founding of this country. Some want to control these natural abilities. This is where the dispute lies.

One does not have to look far to find multiple examples of the threat of violence and censorship. This ranges from online mobs to technology company and media censorship and peer attacks. Those with differing opinions are blackballed, blacklisted, attacked, and censored out of existence.

Take, for example, distinguished University of Chicago professor Harald Uhlig, attacked by his professional peers and online mob for writing that Black Lives Matters "just torpedoed itself, with its full-fledged support of #defundthepolice." And, "Time for sensible adults to enter back into the room and have serious, earnest, respectful conversations about it all... We need more police, we need to pay them more, we need to train them better."

The mode of operating is the same: disapprove the words someone uses, sensationalize the awfulness of it, then use every method of force available to attack them. As with Dr. Uhlig, threaten to take away their livelihood, discredit their work, and then, by proxy, incite mobs to physically attack them and their property. They are treated worse than the violent criminal who can at least work when released from prison. Even the radicals of the 60s had the decency to honor freedom of speech. One would think today's academics would be the champions of free speech, not adversarial critics.

Then there are the technology giants like Twitter, Facebook, Google, and others, pretending to have an open platform but leading the charge for censorship and tyranny against free speech. This is like selling a microphone, then taking it away when the buyer uses it to say something the seller does not like. Or like selling a pair of shoes but taking them off someone's feet when they do not like where they walk. These platforms are not free, people pay for them through advertisements and other fees. As allies of government, these companies enjoy special protections and regulations, platforms, privileges, benefits, and partnerships.

All enemies of free speech are similar; they control the free expression of speech, the words people choose, and change the meaning of words when it suits them. They attack those who disagree, take away their income, and do whatever harm they can get away with toward those who disagree. It is a violent philosophy.

Ethics are defined by the expediency of the situation. Therefore, they justify making up stories and twisting facts, refusing to let what is just and right get in the way of cramming their beliefs onto others and getting what they want. Sacrificing the value of a person for the promises of a self-serving ideology.

They are the masters of fear. Using out-of-control anger and sensationalized reactions, they bully anyone with...

The Casual Tyrant

By GEORGE NEUMAYR

When caught, Obama just shrugs and suggests a “debate.”

It takes a special brand of chutzpah to use one’s own misdeeds as an occasion for “debate” or “updating” the law. Trust us to improve and reform the laws we are violating: that has been the essential message of the Obama administration over the last few weeks as scandal has engulfed it.
Eric Holder experimented with that tactic after he got nabbed for hacking into the emails of journalist James Rosen on a subpoena that defined him as a criminal spy. Instead of quitting, Holder dug in, casting the scandal as a learning experience for the nation, as if he had nothing to do with it. Now Obama is trying out that tactic to mollify Americans over the exposed NSA program. He is open to a “healthy” debate about it. Holder and Obama are like drunk drivers who cause a pile-up and then stroll back innocently to see if they can “help.”
At the same time, Obama wants Americans to rest easy knowing that the contents of their calls haven’t been monitored. Yes, we are spying on you, he in effect said last week, but not as extensively as these irresponsible media reports would suggest. Yes, we are tracing your calls, but “nobody is listening” to them. But, hey, if you still feel uncomfortable, we can always have a “debate” about it. What an easygoing and thoughtful tyrant.

This administration likes to shift attention from a present abuse of freedom by pointing to a greater abuse of freedom it hasn’t committed yet. Americans are supposed to be grateful that Obama’s NSA is only tracing their calls, not listening to them. Besides, said Obama, government is sure to handle this information with care.

This line of obfuscation is reminiscent of Kathleen Sebelius defending the constitutionality of the HHS mandate on the grounds that, yes, we are forcing most religious employers to pay for contraceptives but we are not forcibly injecting anybody with them. What government hasn’t done to you yet becomes the new standard of freedom. And then when the next abuse happens the government pushes the standard back a little more. In a few years, the line will move to: yes, we are listening to your calls, but we are not recording them; yes, we are forcing you to pay for abortion but we are not requiring you undergo one.

On this complacent view of freedom, which the ruling culture works hard to drill into the people, complaints about everything from the HHS mandate to the IRS scandal to government sweeps of “metadata” can be dismissed as paranoid alarmism or carping about minor, correctible problems. Nothing to fear; nothing that a little “debate” and negotiation can’t clear up.

And this propaganda often prevails. Polls suggest that a fair number of Americans don’t seem to care that much about the NSA scandal. They are joining Obama in his shrug. To paraphrase Orwell, everything is all right, the struggle is finished, they love Big Brother.

In a mindless, “What difference does it make?” culture, it is considered progress when everyone is mistreated by government equally. Obama’s America prefers metadata to profiling, prefers that Big Brother frisk everyone, from infants to grandmothers, rather than that the sensibilities of young males from Islamic countries be violated.

So the “debate” over which Obama has so generously volunteered to preside may not change anything. Like Holder, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper probably won’t pay any price for lying to Congress. Clapper hews to Bill Clinton’s understanding of perjury: that words can be privately defined. Do you collect data on the American people? Senator Ron Wyden asked him in a hearing not very long before the scandal broke. Rubbing his head oddly, Clapper said no. But that wasn’t perjury, he now claims, since “when someone says ‘collection’ to me, that has a specific meaning, which may have a different meaning to him.”

The Obama administration grants itself many such mulligans. One would think it might occur to the American people at some point that they can violate the law with the same casualness the Obama administration does. If the highest law contained in the Constitution isn’t binding, why are lesser laws binding? Acts of civil disobedience are bound to multiply in a country where the first acts of treachery are committed by government.

Indian Troops Given 'Fire At Will' Orders Against Chinese Troops If Threatened, Enraging Beijing

China's one child policy has led to an overpopulation in the Chinese male population.
India's Dowry Culture and Ultrasound technology has led to an overpopulation of the Indian malepopulation.
The two largest population's on earth and all that frustrated testosterone.

Beijing is enraged over current widespread Indian media reports that the Indian Army has been given orders to shoot or use "complete freedom of action" in hostile engagements with Chinese PLA forces along the disputed Ladakh border region.

The reports come following last week's major border incident with China that resulted in 20 Indian Army troops killed, and an undisclosed number of Chinese PLA casualties in the disputed Galwan Valley area of East Ladakh.

Chinese state-media Global Times editor Hu Xijin called out the reports, saying that if the new 'rules of engagement' are true, it's a serious violation of prior treaties implemented for deescalation.
Indian media reported that Indian army along the border with China had been given “complete freedom of action”, including using firearms in “extraordinary situations.” If true, this is a serious violation of agreement, & the Indian side will pay a heavy price for any such action.

The Guardian reported that Indian soldiers actually "fell to their deaths" after being knocked off a narrow ridge:

The hand-to-hand combat lasted hours, on steep, jagged terrain, with iron bars, rocks and fists. Neither side carried guns. Most of the soldiers killed in the worst fighting between India and China in 60 years lost their footing or were knocked from the narrow Himalayan ridge, plunging to...

Cardiologist Says 30 Percent of Vaccinated Pilots Would Fail Health Screenings Due to Vaccine Injuries

Joshua Yoder, an airline pilot and co-founder of the U.S. Freedom Flyers said during an interview Wednesday that a cardiologist told him that if the airlines were conducting certain health screenings, 30 percent of the pilots currently flying would probably be disqualified due to vaccine-induced heart conditions.

Yoder told tech millionaire and Vaccine Safety Research Foundation founder Steve Kirsch that his group has received hundreds of reports about pilots flying planes while suffering from adverse side effects from the COVID vaccines.

The most prominent health issues being reported, the pilot noted, include chest pains, myocarditis, and pericarditis. Yoder said that three vaccinated pilot called him yesterday and said that they’re “currently flying with chest pains,” and another one said he is being treated by a cardiologist. He noted that the pilots want to remain anonymous because they don’t want to lose their jobs.

Yoder said the U.S. Freedom Flyers would like to find a solution for these pilots, and work with doctors, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), airlines, and unions to come up with a protocol so they have “some kind of immunity” that would allow the pilots to talk openly about what is happening to them.

The USFF formed last fall to help employees in the transportation industry oppose the federal laws surrounding vaccinations.

“I’m afraid if we keep going down this path, at some point it’s going to end in catastrophe,” he said.

“If passengers actually knew what was going on at the airlines and the FAA, they would be livid, and everyone would be jumping on a class action suit against all of them,” he said.

Yoder said that world renowned cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough told him that if the pilots were regularly tested, a significant number of them would probably have to be grounded.

“He [McCullough] said that if every vaccinated pilot were to be screened, there would be somewhere around a 30 percent loss in manpower,” Yoder told Kirsch.

McCullough, along with Idaho pathologist Dr. Ryan Cole, Robert Kennedy Jr, Lt. Col Teresa Long M.D., Lt. Col. Peter Chambers D.O. and other experts signed letter to the Federal Aviation Administration and the major airlines on Dec. 15, 2021, urging them to flag all vaccinated pilots, and administer EKGs, D-dimer tests, troponin tests, and cardiac MRIs to assess their health.

The doctors warned that adverse events from vaccination could cause “a pilot (to lose) control of his aircraft” and lead to “untold devastation.”

As American Greatness reported on Wednesday, an American Airlines pilot recently suffered a cardiac arrest six minutes after landing his airbus at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport.

Captain Robert Snow nearly died when his heart stopped on April 9, according to Yoder. “They had to shock him three times with the AED [automated external defibrillator] to bring him back,” he said.

Yoder noted that Snow was taken to Baylor, Scott and White Health Center, which is only ten minutes from both American Airlines, and the union (the Allied Pilots Association), yet no one from the airline or union called Snow while he was in the hospital, or stopped by to visit him. The only thing the airline did was fly his family to the hospital to meet with him.

Snow called the U.S. Freedom Fliers for help, and the group assembled a “world-class” team of doctors and lawyers to assist him. Snow is now recuperating at home, Yoder said.

Yoder acknowledged that it is pretty clear that Snow’s cardiac arrest was caused by the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, but the pilot has been undergoing a series of tests to confirm it.

Yoder told Kirsch that the airline industry does not seem to want to deal with the potentially dangerous incident.

“American Airlines is trying to create as much distance between themselves and this incident as humanely possible,” he said. “So is the FAA, and so are the unions. We can’t even get a response.”

Yoder said that Snow would be speaking out soon, and when he does “you’re going to hear some very interesting details that are going to be very damning for...
