Van Jones suddenly worried about ‘racist’ GOP’s diverse and exciting 2016 bench
Whether he’s serving as Obama’s “Green Jobs Czar,” or shlubbing it as a left-wing commentator, Van Jones has been consistent in one thing. Everyone he disagrees with is a racist. The Tea Party is racist, gun owners are racist, cops are racists, Mitt Romney’s campaign was racist, Donald Trump is a racist, Ted Nugent is a racist, Ted Cruz is a racist, and - of course - the core of the GOP is comprised of racists seeking to hang on to their white privilege.Suddenly, though, things have changed. Van Jones is no longer worried about the GOP’s racism. In fact, he’s fearful of the exact opposite. The Republicans’ 2016 is young, deep, and diverse.
