It's OK To Love Your Country....

Mexico becomes first country to approve USMCA

Mexico’s Senate voted overwhelmingly in favor of approving the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement on trade, a deal that would replace the North American Free Trade Agreement.

The measure passed with a 114-4 vote, bringing the agreement one step closer to fruition. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador convened a special legislative session to hold the vote after the Senate convened in April.

“The USMCA is synonymous with opportunity in the short and long term,” Mexican Sen. Verónica Martínez García said of the pact.

Meanwhile, the deal is running into some roadblocks getting through Congress. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has the authority to bring legislation on the matter before the chamber, but has expressed hesitation about the deal, which she says lacks adequate mechanisms to enforce its labor and environmental provisions.

Canada has already introduced legislation through its parliament to ratify the agreement and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to lobby Democrats to support the USMCA during his visit to Washington, D.C., this week. He is reportedly meeting with Pelosi on Thursday.

Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said last week that Canada would be working “in tandem” with the U.S. in hammering out...

FNC’s Carlson: ‘Conservatives Might Want to Pause and Rethink the Relationship’ with the Kochs

On Wednesday, Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson argued conservatives should “rethink” their relationship with the Koch Brothers.

Transcript as Follows:

Charles and David Koch are two of the richest men in the world. Each is worth tens of billions of dollars. Some of their money is inherited. Much they made themselves. But the Kochs have never been content merely to get richer. They’re engaged intellectuals, with a sincere desire to change the world. For years, the brothers have been the single most important funders of Republican politics in Washington.

The Koch network of donors spends hundreds of millions of dollars every election cycle. Virtually every major conservative non-profit in DC takes Koch money. Koch organizations train political organizers and candidates. Many Republican lawmakers owe their careers to the Kochs. For people whose main business is making fertilizer and paper towels, the Kochs have been remarkably effective in politics. Not surprisingly, the left hates them for it. Both the Koch brothers and their families, who by the way are very nice people, have been repeatedly and grotesquely maligned by the media. This, in turn, has convinced many conservatives that the Kochs much be on their side. Anyone who’s been slandered by the New York Times has got to be doing something right. That’s the idea. It’s not a bad standard.

But in the case of the Kochs, conservatives might want to pause and rethink the relationship. As it turns out, the Kochs don’t have much in common with conservatives. They are totally opposed to most conservative policy goals. The Kochs are libertarian ideologues, passionate and inflexible. America first? The Kochs find the very notion absurd, if not fascist. An economic policy that seeks to strengthen families? The Kochs denounce that as “crony capitalism,” or “picking winners and losers.” They think it’s immoral. Controlling our borders? The Kochs consider that racist. A few years ago, Bernie Sanders noted that the Koch brothers are far to the left of him on immigration. Open borders? Quote: “That’s a Koch brothers proposal,” he said.

Bernie wasn’t wrong. But it’s more than a proposal. It’s in effect what we have now, thanks in part to the Kochs. The overwhelming majority of Republicans want a secure border and less immigration. That’s why they voted for Donald Trump. Two and a half years later, the border is more porous than ever. A tide of humanity is flooding in illegally. Republicans in Congress have done almost nothing to help. Why? You can thank the Kochs for that. In 2018, Koch-backed organizations...

Death Threats Against Page And The Dangerous Disinformation Operation Against Trump

Former Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page has experienced what few people have since his name was first leaked to the media alleging he was working with the Russians on behalf of President Trump’s campaign in the fall of 2016. The now debunked accusations, which were leaked to the media, led to numerous death threats against Page in both 2016 and 2017. The majority emanated from Oklahoma but there were other threats from multiple other people, who believed the American businessman and scholar was working with the Russians on behalf of Trump.

Page reported all the threats immediately to the FBI. In fact, this year Page has sent several letters to FBI Director Christopher Wray about the death threats. The first letter was sent in February and the most recent in May, asking Wray to produce the records of his interviews with the FBI special agents regarding those threats. Wray, nor anyone at the FBI, has responded to his letter, said Page, who spoke to SaraACarter.com.

“This has been a life or death situation for years,” Page told me. “In 2016 and 2017, I told Professor (Stephan) Halper about the death threats that I had experienced from Oklahoma and elsewhere. If he might have given accurate information on this and other matters to the Bureau at a time when Comey had ignored my pleas for help, perhaps that might have been a positive step toward restoring national security.” Halper is the American scholar, who worked as a professor at Cambridge University in London. He was outed last year as a the informant for the FBI that had collected information on Page, as well as Trump campaign volunteer George Papadopoulos.

The conspiracy narrative regarding Trump, Russia and those in his in circle was later discovered to be an unsubstantiated pile of rumors, lies and unverified information. It was mainly initiated by the research conducted by the embattled research firm Fusion GPS, who spearheaded the disinformation campaign against Trump. The research firm hired former British spy and anti-Trump propagandist Christopher Steele to compile a dossier against the Trump campaign, of which the unverified information was then dribbled to the media for several years beginning in 2016. Steele and Fusion GPS, whose founder was former Wall Street Journal reporter Glenn Simpson, were paid to conduct the research by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton through their...

If Media Don’t Want To Be Called Propagandists, They Need To Stop Publishing Chinese and Russian Propaganda

The American media’s Trump-Russia hysteria of the last few years gains some real perspective when you consider that they are more than willing to take blood money to distribute publications that whitewash authoritarian crimes.

If you ever spend any time in the Washington D.C. area, there’s a good chance you’ll come across a publication known as China Daily. In appearance, it’s a newspaper. In reality, it is official propaganda from the Chinese government that Communist Party officials deem appropriate for influencing those inside the Beltway. You can find it all over downtown D.C. in newspaper boxes. Large stacks of free copies are also dropped off directly at offices all over the city.

Even better, if you subscribe to the Washington Post, you can get communist propaganda delivered straight to your doorstep for a fee. A few times a year, the Post comes wrapped in a special advertising supplement called China Watch that, again, does its best to approximate a legitimate newspaper. But underneath the masthead in fine print, it reads: “This supplement, prepared by China Daily, People’s Republic of China, did not involve the news or editorial departments of the Washington Post.”

Anyway, you may have recently heard about how two million people out of a population of seven million in Hong Kong recently protested in the streets against the Communist Party’s attempt to further snuff out their little pocket of freedom. Here’s how China Daily is reporting what happened:

Parents in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region took to the streets on Sunday to urge US politicians to not interfere with the SAR’s extradition amendments and its internal affairs.

The protest, organized by several Hong Kong social groups, also condemned foreign entities for misleading young people in the city.

Among these social groups was an alliance of more than 30 local political, business and legal dignitaries who support the proposed amendments to the SAR’s extradition law. They marched outside the US Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macao, calling on the US to stop interfering in Hong Kong affairs.
The whole article is a damnable lie, and yet, as far as I know, the brave truth-tellers at the Washington Post have been taking money to distribute this kind of bilge at least since 2011.

Of course, in recent years we’ve been subject to endless preening from journalists about “fake news” and their renewed commitment as truth tellers. The Washington Posteven adopted the slogan “Democracy Dies In Darkness.” We can argue what this metaphorical “darkness” is supposed to be, but democracy literally dies in...

Sanctuary city Seattle: Illegal alien rapes wheelchair-bound woman, serves 1 day after sentencing, locates his disabled victim and brutally assaults her AGAIN

A 35-year-old White Center man who was recently released from the King County Jail after serving time for rape is now accused of tracking down the victim last weekend, pushing her out of her wheelchair and strangling and beating her in front of her young son, according to prosecutors.

Francisco Carranza-Ramirez was supposed to board a flight to California and return to his native Mexico on Monday after King County Superior Court Judge Nicole Gaines Phelps agreed not to impose community custody, or probation, following his release from jail last week, court records show. He is now wanted on a no-bail warrant for violating conditions of his release on the rape charge, according to court records and King County sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Ryan Abbott.

Carranza-Ramirez was charged Tuesday with second-degree assault, felony harassment, intimidating a witness and felony violation of a sexual-assault protection order in connection with the attack on the victim, court records show. Each of those charges include a rapid-recidivism allegation, which, if proven, would allow prosecutors to potentially seek an exceptional sentence because the most recent crimes were allegedly committed three days after Carranza-Ramirez was released from jail.

The 32-year-old victim, who is partially paralyzed and uses a wheelchair, suffered numerous cuts and bruises, as well as a seizure and concussion after being strangled and struck in the head during the attack just after 9 p.m. Sunday outside her White Center apartment building, the most recent charges say. She told detectives she is terrified of Carranza-Ramirez, a man she didn’t know when he raped her last fall, and is worried he will return to kill her, say the charges.

Abbott, the sheriff’s spokesman, said Tuesday that after the woman was released from the hospital, she was moved along with her 3-year-old son and her service dog to a safe location outside of the White Center area.

“We’re hoping someone recognizes him,” Abbott said of Carranza-Ramirez, who is homeless and still believed to be in White Center.

Carranza-Ramirez is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140 pounds with a medium skin tone, brown eyes and long black hair. He has previously worn a beard and mustache but it’s unknown if he is still sporting facial hair. Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to call 911.

According to court records:

Over two days in September, Carranza-Ramirez approached the victim in her neighborhood and engaged her in small talk. Then on Sept. 26, the woman and her toddler son went to get their mail and Carranza-Ramirez suddenly appeared at the apartment mailboxes, then followed the woman into her apartment uninvited. Due to her disability, the woman later told detectives she didn’t scream for help because she was concerned for her son’s safety.

Carranza-Ramirez raped the woman in her bedroom but during the attack, she convinced him she needed to use the bathroom, the charges say. She called 911 and asked for help; when she heard Carranza-Ramirez get up from the bed, she tucked the phone with the line still open in...

SYRIAN REFUGEE ARRESTED IN PLOT TO BLOW UP PITTSBURGH CHURCH IN THE NAME OF ISIS

ISIS’ Furqan issues new video showing leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi

A Syrian refugee living in Pittsburgh was arrested Wednesday in an alleged plot to blow up a church in the name of the Islamic State.

Mustafa Mousab Alowemer, 21, is charged with one count of attempting to provide material support and resources to ISIS, as well as two counts of distributing information relating to an explosive, destructive device or weapon of mass destruction.

Alowemer was born in Daraa, Syria, and admitted to the U.S. as a refugee on Aug. 1, 2016, federal prosecutors said according to the criminal complaint against him. He recently graduated from a Pittsburgh-area high school and does not hold a U.S. passport.

Prosecutors allege that Alowemer said he was planning an attack against the Pittsburgh church in order to “take revenge for our [ISIS] brothers in Nigeria.” Alowemer allegedly plotted to attack the Legacy International Worship Center, a majority black church on the city’s north side, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

Alowemer met four times between April 16 and June 11 with undercover FBI employees and informants, the government says. In May, Alowemer allegedly provided bomb-making instructions to an undercover FBI employee who he believed was a fellow ISIS supporter. Earlier this month, he allegedly purchased what he believed to be materials to make an explosive.

“During his communications, Alowemer stated his support for ISIS, and his desire to answer the call for jihad or travel to conduct jihad,” prosecutors said.

Alowemer also recorded a video showing him swearing his allegiance to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS.

During the most recent meeting, Alowemer allegedly provided a confidential human source with copies of Google maps that he had printed of the church. He also provided a 10-point plan that detailed the...
