George Soros and Charles Koch Have Teamed Up to Form a Think Tank

Progressive billionaire George Soros and right-leaning billionaire Charles Koch have formed an unusual alliance to advocate for pacifist foreign policy, teaming up to create an anti-war think tank known as The Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft.

According to its website, the Institute “promotes ideas that move U.S. foreign policy away from endless war and toward vigorous diplomacy in the pursuit of international peace.”
The foreign policy of the United States has become detached from any defensible conception of U.S. interests and from a decent respect for the rights and dignity of humankind. Political leaders have increasingly deployed the military in a costly, counterproductive, and indiscriminate manner, normalizing war and treating armed dominance as an end in itself.

Moreover, much of the foreign policy community in Washington has succumbed to intellectual lethargy and dysfunction. It suppresses or avoids serious debate and fails to hold policymakers and commentators accountable for disastrous policies. It has forfeited the confidence of the American public. The result is a foreign policy that undermines American interests and tramples on American values while sacrificing the stores of influence that the United States had earned.

The Quincy Institute is an action-oriented think tank that will lay the foundation for a new foreign policy centered on diplomatic engagement and military restraint. The current moment presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to bring together like-minded progressives and conservatives and set U.S. foreign policy on a sensible and humane footing. Our country’s current circumstances demand it. (Quincy Institute)

At the time of writing, the think tank was still in its infancy, with nothing more than the above introduction on its website, and only a few posts on Twitter and Facebook. It is supposed to officially launch in September, reports The Independent.

The organization is named after former President John Quincy Adams, who said in an 1821 speech that the U.S. "goes not abroad in search of...

To Buy A Nike Shoe Is Like Spitting On Our Proud American History...

Censorship reigns supreme in today’s society, especially when it comes to respecting, honoring, or reminding citizens of the not-too-distant historical past that helped shape the nation for which they reside. A perfect illustration of that statement comes in the form of ex-football player Colin Kapernick advocating for the censorship of Nike’s Betsy Ross 13-star flag shoe, to which the mega-corporation obliged.

The cancellation of the shoe was made apparent through a news article published on July 1st, 2019 by the Wall Street Journal. The article details how the Air Max 1 USA edition of the Nike sports sneaker was supposed to go on sale later in the week to celebrate July 4th, Independence Day, but it was forced to take a knee and bow out of the game of consumer capitalism. Why? Because of Kapernick.

Shortly after publication, the article went viral; the story went viral; and it even managed to land itself a Twitter moment in the U.S.

According to @WSJ, Nike will not release its Fourth of July flag-themed shoes after speaking with Colin Kaepernick, who says he and others see the Betsy Ross 13-star flag as an "offensive symbol because of its connection to an era of slavery."https://twitter.com/i/events/1145898436018884608

President Trump’s senior advisor Kimberly Guilfoyle was quick to to call out Nike and Kapernick, as well as the “corporate PC police” who have done nothing but ruin fun, entertainment, and everyone’s lives as they seek out ways to inject censorship into everything they can sink their claws into.

Various other patriots, Conservatives, and those who value freedom also chimed in to condemn Nike’s sociopolitical servitude to the dictatorial whims of Colin Kapernick.

Graham Allen, the host of the Dear America Podcast, asked if it were possible to just have one day to be proud to be American:

Immigrants Are Coming to America at Older Ages

Give Us Your Old, Your Sick, Those Yearning For Free Retirement, Government Benefits And Free Healthcare... We Love Paying For This Shit.

An analysis of the Census Bureau's American Community Survey shows that immigrants (legal and illegal) are coming to the United States at significantly older ages than in the past. The average age and the share arriving at or near retirement increased significantly in the last two decades. These findings have implications for the often-made argument that immigration makes the country significantly younger. The findings also have implications for public coffers because prior research indicates that younger immigrants tend to have a more positive lifetime fiscal impact than older immigrants. The nation's overall immigrant population is also aging rapidly.

Among the findings:
  • The average age of newly arrived legal and illegal immigrants has increased from 26 in 2000 to 31 in 2017. The newly arrived are those who have lived in the country for 1.5 years or less at the time of the survey.
  • Older age groups have seen the largest increases. The share of newly arrived immigrants who are 50 or over nearly doubled, from 8 percent to 15 percent; the share 55 and over more than doubled, from 5 percent to 12 percent; and the share 65 and older roughly tripled, from 2 percent to 6 percent.
  • On an annual basis, 276,000 immigrants 50 and older now settle in the country, including 213,000 immigrants 55 and older, and 113,000 who are 65 and older.
  • The rise in the age at arrival for immigrants is a broad phenomenon affecting immigrants from most of the primary sending regions and top sending countries.
  • Several factors likely explain the rising age of new arrivals, including significant population aging in all of the top immigrant-sending regions of the world, an increase in the number of green cards going to the parents of U.S. citizens, and a decline in new illegal immigration prior to 2017.
Aging of Overall Immigrant Population
  • Looking at all immigrants, the number of working-age (18-64) immigrants increased by 42 percent between 2000 and 2017, but the number over the age of 64 increased by 108 percent.
  • The average age of all immigrants increased from 39 years to 45 years between 2000 and 2017. This is more than twice as fast as the average age increase for the nation's overall population.
  • Because the population of immigrants 65 and older has grown so fast, the share of all...

FOX News Founder’s Son Gives Big Donations to Progressive Organizations, Including Anti-Conservative Thought Control Group

James Murdoch is an avid supporter of progressive politics, and this may be the impetus for the network’s lurch toward the left.

James Murdoch, the youngest son of Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch, is writing massive checks to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and other progressive organizations to distance himself from his father’s legacy.

Murdoch is the co-founder of Quadrivium, a foundation to bankroll social justice causes with his inherited wealth. His foundation has donated at least $4.25 million to the Environmental Defense Fund, an organization that agitates for public policy to combat climate change. They have also donated more than $1.75 million to the American Association for the Advancement of Science, another group that fear-mongers about climate change.

Murdoch’s wife, Kathryn, is even on the board of “Unite America,” an implicitly anti-Trump organization that wants to heal a nation that becomes “more divided and dysfunctional with each election cycle.”

Most troubling of all, Murdoch has donated $1 million to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the organization that has assisted Big Tech corporations as they institute Orwellian censorship against conservatives.

“We work with Google on using AI to try and interrupt cyber-hate before it happens,” said Jonathan A. Greenblatt, Chief Executive Officer and National Director of the ADL, about his organization’s trailblazing work in the field of Orwellian pre-crime.

“We work with YouTube to get them to change their algorithms so it lessens the likelihood that a young person is going to run into some of these...
