Tibetan Activists Join Hong Kong Protesters To Slam China At Brooklyn Nets Game

Tibetan rights activists joined Hong Kong pro-democracy protesters during a game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors Friday night in New York City.

The demonstrators were hoping to use the occasion to highlight China’s draconian response to the Hong Kong pro-democracy protests and the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) tepid reaction to the Chinese crackdown on civil rights in the former British protectorate. They donned t-shirts emblazoned with “Free Tibet” and carried a banner that stated: “Tsai & LeBron: Morey was right, NBA: Stand for freedom,” according to a news release.

Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James has been critical of anyone in the basketball league who has condemned the Chinese suppression.

Although James said in an interview that he is privileged as a sports celebrity to have “a platform” to speak out against things that are “unjust” or “wrong,” he has chosen to not speak out against China’s actions in Hong Kong, saying instead that the NBA should not be ostracizing the communist state due to...

Democrats Seek to Drown Trump in Drama

Back in 1988, one of the greatest movie villains of all time, Hans Gruber, burst onto the screen with a group of murderous thieves, seizing complete control of the Nakatomi Plaza building in Die Hard.

That movie serves as a decent metaphor for what's currently playing out in America. Think of the building itself as America and its hapless occupants as Americans. Gruber and his murderous thugs embody the media-Democrat complex. The group of foolish police and FBI leadership are best understood as NeverTrump and feckless Republicans, with John McClane aligning with President Donald Trump.

The scene that is most interesting relative to today's unfolding events is when a Mitt Romney named Harry Ellis appoints himself to negotiate with Gruber in an attempt to force McClane to surrender.

"Hans, bubby, I'm your white knight," says Ellis, channeling Romney.

McClane refuses to give in, knowing that it will lead only to worse horrors. Ellis chooses poorly and is shot dead for his near comical miscalculation.

Most of the people outside the building, with the exception of one exceptional Twinkie-eating deplorable, blame McClane for the shooting.

This represents the current Democrat strategy. Democrats are running their own version of a hostage scenario, only they've taken a sizable portion of the American public hostage to their eardrum-splitting insanity. Their hope is to create a crushing wave of noise and disruption through the use of bogus impeachment screeds, relentless media attacks, Antifa violence, never-ending investigations, daily Deep State leaks, Intelligence Community hits, strategically placed partisan polls, and the rest of the tactics they are deploying.

That noise becomes overwhelming, which is the point. The never-ending churn is intended to wear out America to where enough voters so desire a return to "normalcy" that they will submit and vote for the Democrat. They are trying to force voters to wave the white flag. Their hope is that drama-exhausted voters will blame President Trump for their misdeeds and pull the lever for the Democrat. The real target of their unquenchable fury is the voters who dare oppose their plans.

It is today's version of the "peace for our time" promise given by Neville Chamberlain. Vote Democrat if you want peace, and the daily tantrums will end. For those who succumb to that lie and value a media-constructed "peace" over liberty, the result will not be very different from what it was the first time, which was betrayal and attempted destruction.

Some voters will follow in Chamberlain's footsteps. Too many Republican pundits routinely whine about how tired and exhausted they are trying to defend President Trump or blame him for the current toxic environment. It's disgraceful. They are adding a veneer of respectability to the Democrats' big lie, which is that President Trump is some kind of special case who justifies the unprecedented assault on him. All the other lies are nested in this one.

The level of attacks would be just as high, if not worse, on any other Republican president. Impeachment hysteria is the new norm with a Republican in the White House. There are plenty of data points that bear this out. People forget the trend line on attacks against Republican national standard-bearers. President George W. Bush was as establishment as they come, never said a bad word against his manifest Democrat attackers, and was not particularly conservative, yet the media-Democrat establishment despises him to this day. Ellen DeGeneres committed the nearly unforgivable sin of not spitting in his face when presented with the opportunity. Leftist hatred evolved to where they carpet-bombed Sarah Palin and her family with unconscionably...

600 Violations and 38 People Cited in Clinton Email Probe

To end an event-filled political week, the State Department’s completed internal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of her private email was released today. Findings were sent in a letter to Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) this week and released today, which found violations by 38 people, “some of whom may face disciplinary action.”

The Associated Press reported: “The investigation, launched more than three years ago, determined that those 38 people were ‘culpable’ in 91 cases of sending classified information that ended up in Clinton’s personal email.” Those 38 people “are current and former State Department officials but were not identified.”

According to Fox News, “the report, dated Sept. 13., was delivered to the office of Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa., who was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee until last year.” In the report was a summarized review of the handling of “classified information relating to Clinton’s private email server used during her tenure as the nation’s highest-ranking diplomat between 2009 and 2013.”

In conclusion, the report found:

While the use of a private email system itself did not necessarily increase the likelihood of classified information being transmitted on unclassified systems, those incidents which then resulted in the presence of classified information upon it carried an increased risk of...

Office Vacancies In China Hit Decade High Amid Economic Turmoil

A darkening outlook for China's economy continues to materialize week by week.

New data from commercial property group CBRE warns the country's office vacancy rate has just surged to the highest since the financial crisis of 2007–2008, first reported by Bloomberg.

CBRE said the vacancy rate for commercial office space in 17 major cities rose to 21.5% in 3Q19, a level not seen since the global economy was melting down in 2008.

Sam Xie, CBRE's head of research in China, said the recent "spike" in vacancies is one of the worst since the last financial crisis.

Catherine Chen, Cushman & Wakefield's head of research for Greater China, told Financial Times that soaring commercial office vacancies in China was mainly due to dwindling demand, but not oversupplied conditions.

"Contributing factors included slower expansion of co-working operators and financial services companies, and a general cost-saving strategy adopted by most tenants given ongoing trade tensions and economic growth slowdown," she added.

Henry Chin, head of research for Asia Pacific at CBRE, told Financial Times that macroeconomic headwinds relating to the trade war between the US and China were also a significant factor in rising office vacancies.

As shown in the Bloomberg chart below, using CBRE data, Shanghai and Shenzhen had the highest office vacancies than any other city, and both had around 20% of office spaces dormant.

And with the global economy in a synchronized slowdown, global growth estimates are now printing at 3%, the slowest pace since the financial crisis. The Chinese economy will likely continue to slow, and could see domestic growth under 6% this year. This suggests that China's office space vacancies will continue to rise through year-end.Office Vacancies In China Hit Decade High Amid...

Hillary Clinton Asked To Leave Costco After Repeatedly Accusing Sample Lady Of Being A Russian Asset

WASHINGTON, D.C.—According to sources at a DC-area Costco, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was asked to leave Costco again after repeatedly accusing a lady handing out food samples of being a Russian asset.

It wasn't clear how Clinton had ended up in the Costco, as she usually has her servants' servants go to the market for her. Some suggested she wanted to disguise herself and go be among her subjects to see how the other 99% lives.

Whatever the case, the sample lady had apparently offered the failed presidential candidate a small paper cup of orange juice and told her the packs were on sale for $9.49 when the incident occurred.

"Orange... orange like Trump!" Clinton screamed suddenly, frightening the poor food demonstration worker. "You're in league with him, aren't you!?" The failed presidential candidate lunged across the cart and attempted to pull off her face mask, certain the lady was actually Vladimir Putin in a skin suit.

When that failed and the woman shooed her off with a plastic glove, Clinton turned for help and began screaming, "Security! Margaret in the frozen foods aisle is a Russian asset! Help, help, our elections are being meddled with!"

Guards arrived but relaxed when they saw it was just Hillary Clinton. "OK, lady, let's go," they said, grabbing her by each arm.

"Thank goodness you're here!" Clinton cried. "Arrest that woman! Can't someone help me out!?"

"Oh yeah, sure, lady, we'll help you out," the guards said, snickering as they dragged her toward the...
