Phantom threats including “QAnon Inauguration Day” are being used to continue an occupation around the center of government

Tucker Carlson outlined Thursday how Democrats intend to maintain a permanent military presence in Washington DC and will continue to manufacture security threats to keep fear among leftists high.

“When you’re a liberal, the world is a very scary place, but there is one fear that rises above all other fears in the liberal mind: The fear of “the other,” Carlson opined in his monologue.

He continued “Liberals understand most of the American continent as a mysterious dark space, like a medieval map populated by drooling Trump voters and violent illiterates with extra chromosomes.”

“There’s nothing rational about that behavior, but you shouldn’t be surprised by it. Modern liberalism is not a coherent worldview, it’s a deeply unhappy, high-strung personality type. Wokeness is what you get when people are miserable inside,” Carlson added.

The host then outlined how phantom threats including “QAnon Inauguration Day” are being used to continue an occupation around the center of government.

“What is QAnon Inauguration Day? We have no idea, and we don’t know anyone who does,” Tucker continued, adding “We’d bet money that not one Trump voter in a million had heard of it until this week, when the hysteria merchants on the other channels started yapping about it on television.”

Carlson noted how Nancy Pelosi and House leaders rescheduled votes Thursday and many even fled the Capitol, including even some Republicans, believing their own fear mongering that there would be another “peasants revolt”.

“It was all just another lie,” Tucker urged, noting that it is “not so different from when they told us we would need troops to protect Joe Biden’s inauguration. National African American Gun Association Head Weighs In On Gun Control Measures

The National African American Gun Association just celebrated its sixth anniversary back on February 28th, and the Second Amendment organization is growing by leaps and bounds at the moment. Founder and president Phillip A. Smith joins me on today’s Bearing Arms’ Cam & Co to talk about why he started the association and why he’s opposed to any new gun control laws that would have a chilling effect on the Second Amendment rights of the people; including African Americans.

Gun control has historically been used to prevent disfavored individuals and groups from exercising their Second Amendment rights; from the Jim Crow-era laws (some of which are still on the books) that required prospective handgun owners to get permission from local police to New York’s Sullivan Act, which was adopted to prevent immigrants from owning firearms to protect themselves in the crowded and dangerous neighborhoods where they lived.

Today, of course, gun control advocates would never openly demand laws that would have a disparate impact on African Americans who choose to exercise their right to keep and bear arms, but that doesn’t mean that the enforcement of those laws are colorblind.

“I really struggle when I hear politicians, whoever they are, put out legislation that’s really not going to address the issue,” Smith says. “I’m all for going after the bad guys; if you’re a violent criminal you need to get put away forever. I’m firmly in that camp. But at the same time, we need to take a step back and look at not the symptom, but the disease.”

Smith argues that the “disease” of violence has certain characteristics, whether it’s the south side of Chicago, south central L.A., Detroit, or any other community plagued with violent crime and gang warfare.

“Lack of skillsets in terms of getting a job; the over-felonization of young folks, who by the time they’re 22 or 23 they cannot get a job anywhere because they have two or three felonies for low-level marijuana and drug offenses,” he stresses. “They have confrontational relationships with law enforcement at best. We need to go after those social structures which are causing those folks to be in a position where they don’t have the opportunity to make money to live. And if you or I were in the same position where we could not do anything for our families, couldn’t get a job since we can’t interact with anybody or anything in a normalized social fashion, then you’re going to be forced to do things that you would not normally want to do. And that’s where we need to put our emphasis and focus, not on law-abiding gun owners.”

Study Finds 90% of COVID-19 Deaths Are in Countries With Mass Obesity

The obesity pandemic may be driving the COVID-19 pandemic, according to new study from the World Obesity Federation.

From Fox News, "Study finds link between coronavirus mortality risk and obesity":
[World Obesity Federation] researchers found "high mortality rates only in countries where overweight prevalence exceeds around 50% of the adult population."

"Globally, at the end of 2020, COVID-19 mortality rates were more than ten times higher in countries where overweight prevalence exceeds 50% of adults (weighted average 66.8 deaths per 100,000 adults) compared with countries where overweight prevalence is below 50% of adults (weighted average of 4.5 deaths per 100,000 adults)," the World Obesity [Federation] wrote.

The researchers claimed that a country's wealth, reporting capacity, elderly population, and other factors could not explain the link between COVID-19 and obesity.

The United States has one of the highest obesity rates in the world, increasing from 30.5% to 42.4% of the population in the last 18 years, according to the CDC. The United States also has the 9th highest COVID-19 death rate in the world at 158.43 deaths per 100,000 people, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The CDC notes that obesity may triple the risk of hospitalization due to COVID-19, as it causes impaired immune function and can decrease lung capacity.

Jorge Rios, Illegal Alien, Rapist, Murderer

A New Jersey man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault and murder of a woman found dead in a park lake last month, prosecutors said.

Jorge Rios faces charges of felony murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault for the death of Carolina Cano, 45.

Cano's body was found shortly after 7:30 a.m. on March 24 in a lake at Lincoln Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. Her cause of death was strangulation and drowning and was ruled a homicide, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said in a press release.

Her roommate told NBC New York that Cano left their Jersey City home around 5:30 a.m. to go jogging and never returned.

"She was like family because I've known her since she was a little girl," the roommate, who was not identified, said.

Cano's family lives in Peru, according to the roommate. Cano came to the United States alone and worked as a nanny.

"She was a working woman, a good woman," her roommate said. "She didn’t bother anyone. She was a woman that was always with God, that’s how she lived. She was really a beautiful woman. She had a very beautiful heart."
