Rolling Stone Issues “Update” After Hit Piece on Ivermectin Proven to Be a Hoax

Rolling Stone ran a hit piece quoting an emergency room doctor as saying an Oklahoma hospital is turning away gunshot victims and others because the ER is filled with people who’ve overdosed on the “horse dewormer” ivermectin.

And Rachel Maddow and Newsweek and the jumped on it like carousel horse, round and round.

One problem: The whole story was made up of horse manure. Check out the hospital’s statement:

Curiously, as of Sunday afternoon, Twitter hasn’t blocked the Rolling Stone or...

Tree of ‘Lies’ for Shameless Joe Biden over faux synagogue visit: Devine

Joe Biden’s tall tale about going to the Tree of Life synagogue after the 2018 massacre is not the product of an ageing memory but symptomatic of a lifetime of lies.

It’s only now, with “Honest Joe” in the top job, that this character flaw is starting to be widely understood, as the latest polls show the president of moderation is losing the middle ground.

“I remember spending time at the, you know, going to the, you know, the Tree of Life synagogue, speaking with them,” Biden told Jewish leaders in a virtual address Thursday on the eve of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

But, as Post reporter Steven Nelson discovered when he phoned the Pittsburgh synagogue, Biden never visited the Tree of Life once in the three years since that anti-Semitic attack.

The dishonesty was vintage Biden, on two levels. First is the chutzpah of the untruth, which he expects will be protected from fact-checking by media favoritism and the innate politeness of Americans.

Second is that Biden told the lie to rev up the anti-white-supremacist campaign which has animated his presidency since day one. It is a peculiar crusade, based around demonizing all Trump supporters as somehow complicit in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, which had nothing to do with white supremacy, anyway, and everything to do with an election some believed had been stolen.

It is peculiar also because, more than any politician in office today, Biden was aligned with old segregationist Democrat senators, such as former KKK recruiter Robert Byrd.

So Biden posing as a civil-rights activist is as authentic as his brilliant-white teeth and hair plugs, or his “devout” Catholicism while promoting abortion, or his claim to be the poorest man in Congress while he and his family live like kings.

Over his decades in politics, he has constructed a mythical persona full of tall tales of derring-do, exaggerations and outright lies about his accomplishments. He lied about nonexistent academic awards and scholarships and plagiarized speeches willy-nilly.

He pretended that he trained as a racial activist in black churches, claimed he was at the center of the civil-rights movement in Selma and Birmingham, and that he had been arrested in Soweto on his way to see Nelson Mandela in prison. None of it was true.

Each lie served to boost his ego, to place him as the shining superhero of every grandiose story.

If ever he felt his idealized self-image were challenged, he would fly into what can best be described as controlled narcissistic rage. We saw glimpses during the 2020 campaign when he called one man “fat” and challenged him to pushups.

Witnesses still talk about Biden’s unhinged reaction to perceived disrespect from billionaire financier Bill Ackman at a private VIP dinner in Las Vegas in 2017. He waved his fist inches from Ackman’s face, one witness recalls, and called him an “a–hole” after the billionaire cracked a joke about Biden’s loquaciousness, according to media reports at the time, though his campaign denied the story.

But this inner weirdness is the pattern of his life. It was captured in a video of Biden at a campaign stop in New Hampshire in 1987, when he angrily berated a man who asked how well he did at law school. “I think I probably have a much higher IQ than you do,” said Biden, jabbing the air with his finger, then lying shamelessly about his academic record.

Even when caught out, he repeated the false tales. He seemed to have no shame, as if he had come to believe his own fantasies and had some psychogenic compulsion to...

Feeble Minded Joe Biden Spotted Carrying Simplified Memory Aid with Politicians' Names and Faces

President Joe Biden’s mental state is such that he carries a cheat sheet to match names with faces.

A copy of the tightly scripted president’s sheet was cited by the New York Post in its coverage of Biden’s trip to Louisiana on Friday.

Biden toured parts of the state that had been damaged by Hurricane Ida earlier in the week.

As he walked to Marine One, a cheat sheet of names and photos was visible in his pants pocket. New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, a Democrat, and Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng were visible on the sheet the Post saw.

The Post reported that what appeared to be a script also was in...

Mathematicians: China Rises as World’s STEM Leader While American Schools Place Diversity First

Three career academic math scholars gave a stern warning about the “deplorable” state of K-12 math education in the United States as schools prioritize social justice and diversity over merit, thereby allowing China to successfully advance as the world’s leader in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Percy Deift of New York University, Svetlana Jitomirskaya of Georgia Institute of Technology and University of California Irvine, and Sergiu Klainerman of Princeton University – all academic math scholars who arrived in the United States as young immigrants – wrote at Quillette in August of their concern that the nation they are “proud” to call their home is quickly losing its “dominant position” in the mathematical sciences.

Keeping in mind China’s “status as an authoritarian country,” the mathematicians warned Americans:
The drawbacks of American education policies are so pronounced that US schools are now losing their ability to attract elite scholars despite the fact that the United States offers these academics a freer and more democratic environment.
The authors cited several reasons for what they view as the devastating decline of America in mathematical scholarship.

First, the state of math in K-12 public schools has resulted in few American children who are prepared for STEM careers, they explained.

“This leaves us increasingly dependent on a constant inflow of foreign talent, especially from mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, and India,” the math scholars wrote, noting a 2015 survey, conducted by the Council of Graduate Schools and the Graduate Record Examinations Board, that found about 55 percent of all participating graduate students in mathematics, computer sciences, and engineering at American schools were found to be non-U.S citizens.

Similarly, the writers’ observed, the National Foundation for American Policy estimated in 2017 that 81 percent of full-time graduate students in electrical engineering at American schools were international students, as were 79 percent of full-time computer science...
