'Free Speech Is Dead' – Khan's London BANS Pro-Trump U.S. Embassy Rally

Police in Sadiq Khan’s London have used the Public Order Act to prevent a rally in support of U.S. President Donald Trump outside the American embassy, despite permitting a large, ill-tempered anti-Trump rally on Friday.

Protestors attending the ‘Welcome Trump’ event had planned to gather outside the embassy and march from there to Whitehall, where they would have joined in with a separate ‘Free Tommy Robinson’ event in support of the activist and independent journalist who was recently imprisoned for contempt of court after reporting on a grooming gang trial.

But the Metropolitan Police Force, which answers to a large extent to Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, used the Public Order Act to impose a raft of restrictions on both groups of protesters which made this impossible — despite allowing far larger anti-Trump protests at which at least six people were arrested to go ahead on Saturday, with demonstrators carrying signs emblazoned with harsh profanity and messages such as “Die Trump Die”.

“I was planning to go to the American embassy to meet with a group of demonstrators who are planning to welcome Trump into the country… it’s really good to see him in this country, and speaking truth to the people in power in this country,” explained David Kurten, an elected member of the London Assembly for the Brexit-supporting UK Independence Party.

“But as I came out of the police station I was handed this piece of paper by a couple of friendly police officers — who were just doing their job — but they’ve imposed Section 12 Public Order Act conditions on the assembly outside the American embassy, which means that people are not allowed to proceed or have a march or any kind of demonstration,” he claimed.

“And we’ve also been told that if I go to the American embassy in a group of three or more people that I’m liable to be arrested myself — so free speech is dead,” he concluded.

“What this is, is Sadiq Khan not wanting people to express pro-Trump values,” added Young Independence Deputy Chairman Reece Coombes.

“But as soon as probably, essentially only a few thousand of us want to protest in favour of Trump and show our support for the leader of the free world, we are banned, we are silenced, and we are censored.”

Mayor Khan actively encouraged the anti-Trump protests, and was active in the media defending his decision to authorise an “obscene” balloon caricaturing the...

Scientists have discovered the last meal eaten by Otzi, a frozen hunter who died 5,300 years ago in the Alps.

The stomach contents of the world's oldest mummy, known as Otzi the Iceman, provide a glimpse of what ancient Europeans ate more than five millennia ago, researchers said.

The stomach contained the fat and meat of a wild goat, red deer meat and wholewheat seeds, the journal Current Biology said.

Traces of fern leaves and spores were also discovered in Otzi's stomach.

Scientists say he may have swallowed the plant unintentionally or as a medicine for parasites that were previously found in his gut.

Lead author and microbiologist at the Institute for Mummy Studies in Bolzano, Italy, Frank Maixner said: "It was very impressive. We could see chunks and pieces of food with the naked eye."

Although researchers had previously examined Otzi's intestines, this was the first time they could look into his stomach because following his death, the organ moved upwards.

Image:It was not until 2009, 18 years after his remains were discovered near the Italy-Austria border, that a radiologist detected it behind the rib cage.
After defrosting the body, the team took samples and rehydrated them.

Almost half the stomach contents were identified as the body fat of an ibex - a wild goat that still lives in the Alps.

Mr Maixner said: "It's a harsh environment. They had to be prepared. They had to have food that gave them the necessary energy to survive."

Albina Hulda Palsdottir, an archaeozoologist from the University of Oslo, believes the findings are very valuable.

She said: "They're trying to use all the methods in the toolbox to answer this really important question of what people were...

Pruitt Leaves a Proud Legacy at the EPA

Scott Pruitt wasn’t chased out of the EPA because of his ethical lapses but because he was derailing the environmental left’s radical effort to tighten its grip on the U.S. economy. Mr. Pruitt was implementing President Trump’s executive order to scuttle Barack Obama’s Clean Power Plan, which would have forced sharp cutbacks in the use of fossil fuels, at great cost to consumers and with little purpose.

Under President Obama, the EPA’s bureaucrats became the shock troops of a new “green revolution”—quite different from the one that revolutionized agriculture. Mr. Trump chose Mr. Pruitt to lead the counterrevolution. Accordingly, Mr. Pruitt scotched the agency’s encouragement of “sue and settle” litigation that effectively gave outside lobbyists the power to set EPA policies.

Further horror of horrors, the president pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Agreement, ending the longstanding collaboration between the EPA and the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Governments throughout the world have already spent hundreds of billions of dollars to meet U.N. goals for reducing emissions of carbon dioxide. Last July, Danish scholar Bjorn Lomborgpredicted the cost of implementing the Paris Climate Accord would hit $2 trillion by 2030.

CO2 is a natural component of the air we breathe and without it there would be no life on earth. The U.N.’s alarms about a CO2 “greenhouse” causing global warming are based on dubious computer models. As the Cato Institute’s Pat Michaels and Ryan Maue observed on this page last month, global surface temperature hasn’t risen significantly since 2000.

The stakes are high. Government restrictions on carbon emissions have spawned a large renewable-energy industry specializing in solar panels and windmills. In places where those industries have best thrived, such as Germany and Australia, the result has been unreliable power at sharply higher cost. Germans pay roughly three times what Americans pay for...

U.S. Muslim Leaders Mourn Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood Co-Founder Whose Leadership Calls for Trump’s Assassination

It Is Time To Officially Classify The Muslim Brotherhood As A Terrorist Organization Just Like Egypt Has.

Bear in mind, the former head of the Muslim Brotherhood In Jordan has said anyone who accepts Trump’s forthcoming Middle East peace plan will be punished just like the Egyptian President Sadat who was assassinated by Islamic jihad (scroll down).

Why hasn’t Congress designated the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group as other nations have? These US Muslim leaders align themselves with these terrorists. They must be prosecuted as such. The Obama administration scuttled these prosecutions. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has dropped the ball.

A who’s who of anti-Israel radical leaders in the U.S. Muslim community mourned last week’s death of Ishaq al-Farhan, the co-founder of Jordan’s Muslim Brotherhood political wing, the Islamic Action Front (IAF).

“May God have mercy on the thinker, the Islamic leader, and Jordanian national personality, Professor Dr. Ishaq al-Farhan. He lived for his religion, his Umma and Palestine, from which he descended, and people remember his virtues … This is a great loss, not only for Jordan, Palestine and the Islamic movement, but also a loss for this whole Umma (Islamic nation),” wrote American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) National Policy Director Osama Abu Irshaid. Sabri Samirah, who worked as chairman of the now-defunct Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), posted video of al-Farhan’s funeral from Jordan on Abu Irshaid’s Facebook timeline. IAP was the propaganda arm of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee, and Marzook served on its board. The Palestine Committee was created to serve Hamas politically and...

BLACK SLAVES, MUSLIM MASTERS

An appeal to American blacks.

Arabs and Muslims have black slaves today and hardly anyone, especially the leftist class which preens about its devotion to human rights, is screaming about this. In five African nations — Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Nigeria, and Sudan — blacks serve Arab/Muslim masters. They are bought and sold like furniture. They are worked until they drop, tortured, raped, forcibly converted to Islam, and murdered. This has been going on for many years, but it only occasionally makes today’s headlines.

This is an open secret. Anyone can Google “blacks sold as slaves in Libya” and see video of slave markets. I know Africans from Sudan and Nigeria and Mauritania who want to tell this story but they cannot get platforms. Below is a short clip of the testimony of an escaped slave from Sudan, Francis Bok. Here is his incredible story told in long form. I have decided to help these people tell their story. The people who need to hear it most are American blacks. Please support our effort by contacting us at Americans for Peace and Tolerance.

5 Key Takeaways From The House Hearing With FBI Counterintelligence No. 2 Peter Strzok

An embattled FBI official who led investigations into both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump testified in a cantankerous open hearing on the Hill yesterday. Peter Strzok, formerly the second in command of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, lost his position after texts he exchanged on government systems with his also-married lover and colleague Lisa Page revealed extreme bias against President Trump and his voters.

Yesterday’s joint hearing in front of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees was the first public hearing Congress held with the official who launched the Russia probe two years ago. Here are a few key takeaways from that hearing.

1. This Is What DOJ Obstruction Looks Like

The country is two years into the FBI’s probe of whether Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal an election. Not a single charge has been brought by the FBI or by the Office of Special Counsel alleging collusion or treason or anything close to the charges that supposedly necessitated this investigation.

Congress began asking some questions of the FBI and Department of Justice about how it was conducting the investigation. Through the oversight process, Americans learned that the infamous “dossier” that laid out a case of collusion was secretly bought and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. This dossier was used to secure wiretaps against Trump associates (other surveillance methods, including human informants, were also used).

The dossier was fed to both the FBI and State Department. Top intelligence officials were leaking about the Russia investigation to CNN and other media outlets. A top DOJ official’s wife worked for the firm that Hillary Clinton hired to run the “Russia” operation. That firm fed their opposition research to the FBI through him.

The Senate Judiciary and House Intelligence Committees, along with the Senate Homeland Security committee, House Oversight, and House Government Reform committees, have worked hard to uncover these details and in the face of unprecedented obstruction. Requests for documents are met with stonewalling, delays, redactions, leak campaigns, and outright refusals. Threats of subpoenas are routinely made to force even minor compliance.

Despite the length of yesterday’s hearing, congressional overseers were able to elicit almost no substantive answers to the questions they asked. Strzok claimed he was not answering questions because the Department of Justice told him not to answer questions. No matter the question, Strzok refused to answer any question about his role in the Russia probe, with almost no exceptions.

The hearing was a public revelation of the stonewalling and obstruction the DOJ has enforced against congressional oversight.

2. Strzok Somehow Came Off Even Worse Than He Did In His Texts

Despite his significant role in the Russia and Clinton investigations, the only picture Americans had formed of Strzok was based on his text messages. He spoke of his loathing of President Trump, Trump’s voters, and congressional oversight. He talked of stopping Trump’s election, of insurance policies to deal with his candidacy, and fantasies of impeachment.

The texts were between him and his also married colleague, another top-ranking official in the Department of Justice. The hearing demonstrated the texts were at best an accurate reflection of the man who wrote them. If anything, the texts were understated.

Strzok chose to present himself to the world as a smug, arrogant, and peevish man. He was defensive and condescending. His answers were almost mind-blowingly implausible. It wasn’t just that he lacked good judgment or even-handedness. It’s that he didn’t seem to have a grip on reality. He kept saying he wasn’t biased, when his bias is indisputable.

He told investigators that he would like to answer a question but that his attorneys weren’t letting him. If they later told him he could answer, he’d say he didn’t remember. He implausibly said that his affair didn’t put him at risk of compromise, in contrast to his agency’s policy.

3. Democrats Run Interference

Almost immediately, Democrats on the House and Government Reform Committee attempted to shut down the hearing. When that failed, they resorted to near-constant parliamentary inquiries and objections. At one point they actually cheered and applauded Strzok, despite his ethical failings and poor judgment, which have threatened the entire Russia investigation. The man is under internal investigation for his behavior. Yet one Democrat said he’d like to offer Strzok a Purple Heart, a military decoration awarded to those wounded or killed while serving in the U.S. military.

As silly as this behavior may seem, it indicated how Democrats hope to handle all oversight of the FBI and DOJ’s handling of the Russia probe. The message went out that every hearing will be a clown-show, even by the typical grandstanding attendant to congressional hearings. Democrats on oversight committees have fought transparency of the Russia investigation, portraying it as obstruction of a legitimate probe. All signs indicate that opposition to oversight will continue.

4. DOJ Clearly Hiding Its Relationship With Democratic-Funded Smear Group

The FBI and DOJ frequently instructed Strzok not to answer substantive questions from Republicans. One line of inquiry pursued by Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, was regarding communication between the FBI and Fusion GPS, the group that concocted the “Russia” dossier and messaging plan on behalf of ...

Gowdy questioned Strzok on why specifically he was let go from the Mueller investigation.

“How long did you talk to him when he let you go?” Gowdy asked.

“My recollection it was a short meeting, somewhere between 15 to 30 minutes, probably around 15 minutes,” Strzok said.

“And your testimony is: Bob Mueller did not kick you off because of the content of your texts; he kicked out you off because of some appearance he was worried about,” Gowdy said.

“My testimony — what you asked and what I responded to — is that he kicked me off because of my bias,” Strzok responded. “I’m stating to you it is not my understanding that he kicked me off because of any bias — that it was done based on the appearance. If you want to represent what you said accurately I’m happy to answer that question, but I don’t appreciate what was originally said being changed.”

“I don’t give a damn what you appreciate Agent Strzok,” Gowdy shot back.

“I don’t appreciate having an FBI agent with an...

BULL: 1, CHINA SHOP: 0

Get out the fainting couches! President Trump is in Europe, and once again he is saying the unsayable. The occasion is the NATO summit that began today in Brussels. Trump fired an opening salvo that included two themes, as reported by Bloomberg. The first is that Germany, in particular, undermines the alliance’s defenses against Russia by being too dependent on Russian natural gas:
“It’s very sad when Germany makes a massive oil and gas deal with Russia where we’re supposed to be guarding against Russia and Germany goes out and pays billions and billions of dollars a year to Russia,” Trump said before meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday morning.

Trump pressed on: “If you look at it, Germany is a captive of Russia, because they supply — they got rid of their coal plants, got rid of their nuclear, they’re getting so much of the oil and gas from Russia. I think it’s something NATO has to look at.”

Trump is right about this. Germany stupidly closed nuclear and coal power plants in favor of huge investments in “green” energy. Those investments, predictably, have failed to do anything other than drive the price of electricity unacceptably high. Germany is now backing away from its “green” policies in favor of natural gas. Where does it get most of its natural gas? From Russia.

The specific focus of Trump’s criticism is the proposed Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which would take gas from Russia to Germany. That pipeline has been controversial for...

HISTORY: The Balls For The Trump Balloon Arrive In London...

Why Trump is Absolutely Right About NATO in One Chart

President Trump is absolutely right about NATO countries not paying their fair share.

Europe’s national defense is being subsidized by the American taxpayer.

This allows them to offer their citizens much more lavish benefits than ours receive.

This morning President Trump laid down the law to NATO members and told them it’s time to pay up.

Almost immediately upon landing in Europe, he started attacking deadbeat NATO members for shirking their defense responsibilities to the alliance.

While, at the same time, these countries are giving billions to Russian oligarchs in exchange for oil and gas.

“We’re protecting Germany, we’re protecting France,” Trump told NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg at a heated breakfast meeting, according to BPR. “We’re protecting all these countries…And then these countries go out and make a pipeline deal with Russia where they’re paying billions of dollars into the coffers of Russia. So we’re supposed to protect you against Russia, but you’re paying billions of dollars to Russia. I think that’s very inappropriate.”
Specifically, Trump went after Germany, who demands that President Trump stand up to Russia while at the same time depending on the country for a bulk of their energy needs.

“Germany is totally controlled by Russia,” Trump said, referring to Nord Stream 2, Germany’s proposed $12 billion gas pipeline deal with Russia. “I think it’s very sad when Germany makes a massive oil and gas deal with Russia.”
Nord Stream 2 strikes at heart of NATO unity. The pipeline gets cheap Russian gas to Germany while bypassing smaller Eastern European nations, allowing Russia to pressure them while Germany is held harmless. No amount of preening in Berlin will cover this nakedly selfish policy.
Trump continued: “We’re supposed to be guarding against Russia, but Germany goes out and pays billions and billions of dollars a year to Russia.”

NATO member states have promised to...
