Nice idea, if not really workable.
FLIR on some imagers the .MIL uses can detect less than 1 degree F of heat difference...
So you'll not hide from the helicopters, especially at night.
They'll see yer breath coming around the edges.
Not that this might not reduce your signature, but you won't hide if they are looking for you.
