Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
I have no idea what year that is, but if it's from before 1965 when we still had 90% silver coins, we can turn that into today's price. At $16.70/oz silver (price right now) that's a $29.60 dinner. For one.
I have this idea Ho Jo was a budget place - remember Robin Williams joke about "shoestring clam night"? - but maybe it wasn't. And maybe prices have actually come down due to better farming practices...
(edit to ad, my wife found the ad online and it said 1964, the last year of 90% silver coins)
