An Indiana pizza shop that came under fire after suggesting it would refuse to cater a gay wedding has now raised more than $780,000 from online supporters in just one day's time.
The astonishing haul pulled in for Memories Pizza in Walkteron comes after its owners said they closed indefinitely following violent threats against their lives and business, and they've now gone into hiding.
Co-owner Crystal O'Connor had expressed support for a new Indiana religious objections law that, before its recent amendment, would have allowed them to deny gay customers because of religious beliefs.
