A Panzer III tank crewman surrenders to an advancing British soldier during the Battle of El Alamein, 1942
Apparently despite his surrender, this German tank crewman was killed by U.K. troops. Before & after photographs exist of him with his hands raised in surrender; and pictures exist of his body lying half-way out of the hatch after he was killed. These before & after photographs are seldom shown together in the proper sequence.
