According to Fort Bend County court documents, Cuellar was living with family members in a Rosenberg apartment in September 2017 andbroke into a neighboring apartment while the girl was home alone. Cuellar held the victim down and sexually assaulted her before fleeing the apartment.
The victim immediately called police and Cuellar was later identified by both the victim’s statement and DNA evidence left at the scene. The victim reportedly told police Cueller had tried to enter the apartment several times previously while her mother was at work and she had filed a complaint with the apartment manager.
“This kind of case is everyone’s worst nightmare – to be sexually assaulted by a stranger in your own home.
