Once upon a time, long before he was in movies, pubic television in Los Angeles broadcast some of Paul Hogan's Australian television shows. It's gotta be 45 years ago, or so, but I recall he and a side kick playing common working men with their humorous misadventures. I much preferred that to the later Dundee character.
