I visited Venice Beach back in the early 90s one time when I was in LA. It was glorious. Beautifully kept beach and walkways. What a shame. A metaphor for CA when you think about it.

I have travelled extensively through PNG for over 5 years and never seen people living like that. I guess they have more pride.
