I wear behind-ear-hearing aids. Removing my mask almost always pulls off one or both of the hearing aids. I learned early on to leave the mask on until I got in my car so I wouldn't lose a $3000 device in some parking lot. If I am doing a short trip between stops, I leave the mask on. But I realize how ego building it is to judge other people you know nothing about.

Yeah, the US Army has been using a version of that for years. We had to wear our reflective safety belts while I was deployed to Kuwait in 2010.
