Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
One Christmas eve I blew out a tire as I drove home. It was not a great neighbourhood. I was looking at the tire, feeling rather helpless, and this big, really big, black guy came up behind me and asked if I needed help. He dug out my spare and changed my tire and sent me off home, saying that he was happy to help. He had been walking to his favourite luncheonette so, while he fixed my tire, I went over there and put $20 down for him next visit.
He was a sweet guy and I agree, there are still good people out there.
