The trucker's rules of RR Crossings. Slow down, turn off all noise makers (radio, wipers, fan), open windows to listen, put on 4 way flashers. If necessary stop 15 to 50 away from tracks to confirm no trains are headed that way. Also check to confirm there is enough room on the other side of the tracks to get everything across with room to spare. Proceed when it is safe to do so.
