In a new Netflix special, the surly malcontent who became a celebrated figure to the “woke” media for his disrespectful decision to take a knee during the national anthem disgracefully trivializes the suffering of generations of blacks who were horrifically subjugated with his ridiculous comparison.
According to the former NFLer who got rich during his own career and then parlayed his martyrdom after walking away from the 49ers into even more wealth as a pitchman for Nike, the combine is akin to the darkest aspects of slavery, despite the fact that the college players who willingly show up to try out for teams are a diverse mix of aspiring players. But Kaepernick and his handlers aren’t about to let the truth spoil their narrative.
In a segment from the series “Colin in Black & White” that draws heavily on special effects, Kaepernick delivers his message as narrator while the actors portraying players morph into chained captives at an actual slave auction, an assertion so over the top that it borders on parody.
