I am going to say something controversial and inciteful, but accurate: None of this will matter until the thieves and criminals fear us, and there is no recent history to cause them to. Heads in baskets(figurative!) or the entire play will continue.until we are the polluted mess they wish us to be.
It is well past time for trials and punishment.
