Video #3, One would think that when making a re-creation of an incident that National Geographic would know that airliners no longer have square windows. Looks like they used old single pane house window for the set. Surprised there were no curtains.
2 There are angels on earth you saw it here. 3 That show is great watch it quite often. The videos of those big planes landing in major crosswinds is amazing.

All pilots are taught how to both side slip and forward slip. All of them. It is just uncomfortable for the passengers.
