On my first day of trying snowboarding, I landed head down in deep powder. I thought it hilarious as I imagined the picture from above. Then I thought I can get hurt. I felt two skiers either go right over or very close to the upside down board attached to my boots. I self-rescued. When I looked around there were 3, maybe five skiers standing watching the show.
One afternoon I pulled up to the one heavily travelled 4 way stop. I look across to see a guy throwing dirt onto the carburetor trying to put out an engine fire. Its not my 'turn' but I drove right through the intersection and pulled up short. I hopped out with fire extinguisher and put out the flames. He thanked me but I said you've got bigger problems. All that sand and dirt in your carb. Why didn't you use your shirt? He said he hadn't thought of that. Besides, its a brand new shirt. Bless his heart.
Folks, stop right now and buy an extinguisher for your truck or car. Make sure its good for fuel and electrical fires.
