Pentagon Memo: Trump Gave Order to ‘Make Sure’ January 6th was ‘Safe Event’

The Democrats’ latest “primetime” January 6th hearing once again failed to provide any evidence that President Donald Trump tried to incite a riot. In fact, one piece of evidence that was glossed over appears to further confirm the opposite, that President Trump wanted to maintain peace and safety on January 6th, 2021.

Just The News reports that the bulk of the January 6th hearing focused primarily on more hearsay evidence from the likes of Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, whose story about Trump allegedly trying to hijack the presidential limousine has already been debunked. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy, speaking to the inspector general, revealed that the reason why Trump’s recommended military protection for the counting of the electoral vote was rejected was because “Miller made it clear that the military would not be involved in certifying the election results,” due to the suggestions by some that such a presence would project the image of a military coup.

Despite this overwhelming evidence in President Trump’s favor, the January 6th committee has not referenced this particular bit of evidence, nor has it provided any sort of...
