That woman in #2 obviously is dumb on history. She does not understand that tribes in Africa made slaves of other tribes and then sold them to others, such as Muslims and Europeans. Further she does not know the history in what became the United States, while colonies under British Rule the first Black Slaves were own by Blacks and White Slaves (called Indentured Servants) were owned by Whites. Black Slaves later were owned by Whites under British Rule. Native Americans also practiced slavery throughout North America.
The United States fought the Civil War for many things but it was the Republicans in the North against the Democrats in the South. The war cost over 600k of battle death plus many more injured. The result was slavery was removed and Blacks were given full citizen status by a Republican government through Amendments to the Constitution.
