The ‘Men, 50 and older’ one reminds me of my late Uncle Terry who got prostrate cancer and volunteered for one of those experimental new drug studies.
His Doc said ‘Stand up. Drop your drawers’ and lean forward on this table.
When he did he heard the snap of Doc’s glove, then he heard the snap of seven other gloves from the other doctors that just showed up and were interested in the experiment results.
Prostate.

My mom had a colonoscopy. They ran the probe through the side of her colon. Didn’t notice and sent her home. She was screaming in agony, begging for someone to just shoot her. She lived and is still alive today.
I avoid all unnecessary medical procedures.
