Why Is The Pentagon Commenting About Tucker Carlson??!!?

Pentagon officials say 'we're a better country' now that Tucker Carlson is off the air

"We’re a better country without him bagging on our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people."

Officials at the Pentagon are cheering the departure from prime time of Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who frequently took aim at the US military over their diversity policies, war in Ukraine, and lack of accountability to the American public.

"We’re a better country without him bagging on our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people," one senior Department of Defense official told Politico, speaking on conditions of anonymity.

"Good riddance," a second official said.

When asked by the outlet to respond to Pentagon officials’ cheers over his departure, Carlson told Politico by text message, "Ha! I’m sure."

The first senior DoD official said Carlson "made a mockery" of the free press and "repeatedly cherry-picked department policies and used them to destroy DoD as an institution."

If my Dad, who served in the Marines in the Pacific in WW2 for 3 years, and my Brother, who served in the Army, for 6 years including 3 in Vietnam in the Rangers, were still alive they would hate to see what has happened to our military.

Carlson didn't "bag on the military." He bagged on the military's LEADERSHIP for being "all woke and sheet." BTW, we are not a better country today. It has little to do with Tucker Carlson and a LOT to do with the fact that the Pentagon is excited over the departure of a talk show host. Which is exactly the kind of thing the led Carlson to bag on them.

Tucker didn't "bag on the military". He bagged on the imbeciles currently running the military.

No one likes criticism, especially when it is deserved.

If the military is perceived to be better by military leadership, because of the absence of one commentator, then they were in big trouble before that faux pas occurred....sunshine being the best disinfectant, looks like the boys in leadership couldn't handle the light of day....
