Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
Get thee to Planes of Fame airshow at Chino, California. The two day show is usually the first week of May.
Other than the Blue Angels, or sometimes the Canadian Snowbirds, or that one exceptional time at Vandenburg, Planes of Fame is consistently the best show outside of Oshkosh.
Pro tip: the day before (Friday) the show features the entire airshow but with the crowds of spectators. It is billed as VIP and photographers day but you needn't be either. You can buy a ticket, or volunteer to help set up while you enjoy the show. Or fly in your own aircraft or a buddy's.

Yup. Took me a few seconds...
Very clever!
Took me a minute, but I would have figured out instantly if there had been several P-47s ahead of the P-38.
My first thought was "he's too damn close", which would be very very frightening. Nobody wants another airshow disaster.
