My take; the Hamas/Israel thing wasn't a bug. It was a FEATURE. Public interest was waning in the Ukraine/Russia conflict. The Biden "administration" needed another poster child to throw money and equipment at. Who better than ISRAEL, who the US PROMISED aid to if needed. Believe me... It'll be needed... This is the kind of thing that starts world wars...
